Leather & Oud

I'm not sure about how this thing wears or dries down but right out of the bottle, it's the same blast you get from Tuscan Leather or Godolphin -- quite uncanny actually. I was still rocked by it even though I'd read what people have been saying here. Again, not sure how it wears or dries down, but initial spray is totally that TL experience. It almost feels as if Cremo set out to use some big name fragrances as models for their chemists/perfumers to use as an experiment for their fragrance line, they got too good at it and ended up with a product so close they figured, we may as well make some money. I mean, L&O spray is now discontinued on Cremo's website... but you can find some around still (found mine on eBay) Bottom Line: if you like Tuscan Leather and can only afford $30 on a bottle of fragrance, this is your Godsend. I can't say how it wears yet, but Cremo has yet to disappoint.

I really like this one. I have not smelled Tuscan Leather so I cannot compare it to that one, but what it does remind me of is a very smooth and mild Interlude Man. It does not smell exactly like it, but the incense note smells quite similar. At arms length away it smells kind of like a mild vanilla tobacco with leather, and it has a creaminess to it. With my nose right on it I pick up the incense and get the Interlude Man similarity. It's not super strong, but it seems to project quite well for the first couple of hours and is very pleasing and inviting to my nose. For $20 this stuff is awesome.

Ordered a decant sample, took one whiff, and couldn't wait to order a full bottle! You know how you initially spray a new scent and think, "Meh?" Definitely not here. I'm like, "Wow. This is amazing." It's strong and distinctive. Clearly leathery but, upon dry-down, I'm also getting something tobacco-like, which I like. Longevity and sillage are up there with the best, and the price is excellent. Another reviewer noted getting a headache from it, and I think I may have to agree, oddly. It's worth it, though.

It smells exactly like Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather, minus the raspberry accord. It's astonishing that this fragrance is only $20. The leather note is literally exactly the same as the one used in TF's offering. Very little oud or saffron, if any, but the leather note is one of the most beautiful I've ever smelled. I detect just a hint of smoke. I'd happily pay $100 for this; at $20 it's a no-brainer.

My second Cremo scent. In all honesty, I thought I was ok when I first bought it. Used it occasionally. Then... I really started using more... and more. And now, I love this scent. It has really grown on me. I think because it’s colder now, maybe. But, it stays with you all day, and I can still smell it on my shirts the next day. So good. That leather and Oud, wow! I will continue to buy. 💯

Wish I had loaded up on this when it was $23 a bottle. It's not available on the Target website any longer as it's been discontinued. I own 4 Cremo colognes and I must say that I enjoy each one of them, and I'm usually very skeptical to "cheapies". This one is the perfect cold weather fragrance that will garner compliments.

I dont know how they got to replicate TL so well, but they did. It obviously isn't the same quality. But you can't go wrong (If you can find it). Another big win with Cremo.

99.5% Tuscan Leather, only difference is the quality and performance but not by much at all! Much better value than TL.

Smells EXACTLY like Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather for a 10/100 of the price...literally.

I like this fragrance, but I don't love it yet. I think I liked it better when the weather was colder. But since it has warmed up, it's coming off very screechy. One thing I can say for it is that it's potent and lasts a very long time if I spray under my shirt. The leather and the smokiness are very masculine. The problem I have with it is the oud. It's quite synthetic smelling (duh! for twenty-ish dollars, that's what you get) and this fragrance is totally framed around it. It gives it a really tangy character that is very linear and somewhat cloying. I think it would probably benefit from a deep amber base. It would make it a lot less piercing, maybe ground it a bit. I might try layering it. Anyway, it's pretty decent quality and I'd give it a 7 out of 10 for a fragrance in its class. It has made leather and oud a somewhat fresh kind of scent--Cremo is a grooming brand after all. But it's a bit of a flawed concept to try and create a light scent out of oud and leather. By taking the weight out of what would ordinarily be a hefty chypre, it screeches rather than thrums. Update: just got ahold of a clone of Tuscan Leather and it does bear a resemblance to this fragrance. I think I like the clone a bit better, but I also enjoy the Cremo more now than I did previously. It is worth the $22. I would just go easy on the sprayer. It's quite easy to overdo this one.

Cremo is a very good brand. I've got a few of their colognes, shower gels, shampoo and shaving creams. VERY affordable too. You can find them at Target, Walmart, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, you get the idea. The point is, their stuff smells great. This cologne in particular is VERY CLOSE to Tuscan Leather by Tom Ford (or TL by TF if you're into acronyms). Instead of an intense raspberry which is in Tuscan Leather, Cremo gives you more of a citrus top note. I'm not sure I like it more, but I could see layering both of these to preserve a small sample of tuscan leather. Performance is not as good as tuscan leather, but you're paying $20 for Cremo's Leather and Oud, so STFU. This is my second Cremo cologne, and so far, so F'ing good! Cremo! Where you at?

The bitter orange note RUNES this for me.

Let me start off with the positive...for $21 this stuff smells good. It doesn't have the overwhelming alcohol-ish smell that most cheap colognes, sprays etc have. However, I definitely would NOT consider this an attempt at a TF Tuscan Leather emulation. If they were trying to make a cheap clone, they totally screwed up everything but it having a leather note. Do they both have nice leather notes? Yes, they are obviously both leather-based fragrances but the floral/fruity notes are very different. That big raspberry (some people call it "cough-drop") note in the TF opening is not there at all. It's more of a slightly spicy citrus with synthetic oud on this and the Cremo dry down leaves you with a MUCH more woody scent that fades pretty quickly. After about an hour or two you are going to be putting your nose on your skin to smell this. So in all, great scent for $21. Not great performance but you can use a lot and not worry about a big price tag to get another bottle. I have layered this with TF Tuscan Leather and the combo does smell very nice as well.

Noooo this does not smell like Tom Ford Tuscan Leather ! It smells like M.A.C. My Heroine and Demeter Bonfire (for the most part). Smokey burnt fire, a tad of incense, old wood..... for $22.00 at Target - your money is better spent on THIS rather than some crap from Nautica or Dunhill at T.J. Maxx.

I don't think I could tell the difference between this fragrance and Tuscan Leather. This one though gives me a bit of a headache while Tuscan Leather doesn't. Besides the headache issue, it smells exactly like Tuscan Leather.

I will absolutely agree with others in that it is essentially a poor mans TF Tuscan Leather. Obviously not as deep and not the purest quality, but for 1/10th the price or less...thats a big hell yeah from me.

I love this perfume, but unfortunately every time I wear it it gives me a headache. PM me if anyone is interested in a full bottle still in original packaging.

My initial thoughts on this fragrance is it cigarette smoke. I'm not a smoker so the tobacco smell is too overpowering to me.

99% Same scent as Tom Ford Tuscan Leather but EXTREMELY poor performance
