Cashmere for Women

When I first smelled this, I instantly knew - this was my perfume soulmate. It was like that One Scent you've been smelling for all your life, the One Scent you have smelled in your dreams and could never quite capture, always just beyond the nose's reach, and then all of a sudden beyond a doubt, I knew.... this is it. It's that myrrh. That's what makes the beautiful smoky bit of the fragrance, the star of this show. It blends so well with the vanilla and cedar.. and is it the combination of the bergamot that makes the 'peachy' note? Thankfully it's not 'fruity', but it does suggest a slight sweetness and yet somehow just dry (from the cedar) enough to leave a more demure impression. The amber brings its warmth; the rose and jasmine round out the experience, the vanilla fills up everything in between, and I end up feeling so cozy and sexy and comforted all at the same time. I smelled the sample years and years ago and was devastated to find it sold out everywhere.. and then just last year I found a brand new bottle on eBay. Together at last.

Smells like an old and rancid body cream.

Cashmere starts as a fresh and zingy citrus, but ends up as a warm and "wooly" scent that wraps around you like a cashmere blanket. A nice everyday comfort scent.
