I have already reviewed this fragrance below. This scores here lower than an average Axe. Has nothing to do with the fragrance but with the stupidity of people. So many biased people. It's a shame. Not only don't they know the fragrance, they don't have a clue what a great guy Ronaldo is. for examble: a high speed train crashes in Vigo one night. Next morning around 7 who arrives at the hospital to give blood 600 km away from Madrid? Tsunami 2004. A 9 year old boy wearing a Portugese national football team shirt with Ronaldo on its back, is found on a deserted Island by a news crew Helicopter. Separated from his family. He is later reunited with his father who is the only survivor from the boys family. I saw this on TV. Ronaldo did too. 10 years later I see Ronaldo with this boy at the Sporting Lisbon Football Academy. I read Ronaldo has been providing this boy and his father finacial support and a scholarship since he had seen the same TV report as I did 10 years earlier. Now the boys big dream is to become a football player like his idol and Ronaldo arranges an intership with his former club. Can give you at least another 10 examples... People ought to be ashamed of themselves for criticizing and even hating a person who is a sooo much better person than themselves.

★★★★ (4 / 5 stars) Impressive. This fragrance went completely unnoticed in 2015 - if you stumble upon this review and can find it at a reasonable price, buy it asap. It's fun wearing fragrances nobody knows about - especially in America or non football craving countries. Light soda/cola type opening. Fizzy and bright. Then a huge 180 towards its warm powdery Rochas Man dry down. Perhaps with small similarities to Prada Luna Rossa Sport (that isn't really a sport scent because of its vanilla sweetness)....but softer. This doesn't scream or pretend to be beast mode. It's a close encounters scent. The wolf in sheep's clothing when you hug a cute girl. Romantic and would make a great flirty alternative to Boss Bottled (similar notes but different blending and concentrations) with less cinnamon. Medium projection, 6+ hours longevity. Nice bottle and sprayer. The negative reviews are ridiculous. Big deal, its marketed alongside a football player. Who cares. Girls love this sweet sugary mocha scent. Even in the workplace, this will offend nobody. Suitable for fall winter and spring and perhaps summer indoors. Works incredibly well on cotton clothing. Worth adding to a collection if you want a slightly more mature variation of Rochas Man.

Experts reviewers on Youtube rate Legacy pretty high. As well as the special edition. I bet most haters didn't even bother to try it. I own both the original as well as the Private Edition. From Legacy I have a full line, meaning aftershave and Deo as well. So I don't smell like a cocktail, by mixing up. Unfortunately for many of the fragrances I like, I can't by the aftershave and deo. Apparently this doesn't bother the male community. I own over 120 Fragrances but nothing resembles these 2. So for me I guess they are unique. Performances are good. The Private Edition is an Eau de Parfum. It last even longer than the original, which is quite good also. I also get around 8 hours or more. At least 5 or 6 before it gets close to the skin. Because they are unique to me I don't know exactly where to rank them on my list. For me they are more a like than a love but very close to my top 30. certainly in my top 15 Fall/Winter frags. Legacy maybe even top 10. In terms of scent, I prefer the original. They are quite different. The original is very cosy. In fact both are. Fall, Winter scents for me. Even in Spring. They will do well on a night out also.

I wonder why people would comment on a fragrance without actually knowing it. I just bought 2 last week in Portugal, one of the few countries where you can actually try it, rather than guessing. A large giftset for myself and a EDT for my eldest son. (his own choice) Woodsy, Apple, Cinnamon, fragrance, suitable for the colder seasons. I have just applied it twice in the evening. Too short, Too soon for judging on longetivity, but the sillage is quite alright. Not too close to the skin. Can easily compete with others like Luna Rossa extreme, Prada intense etc. It will probably not make my top 5 best winter fragrances (I have about 30) but close to top 10. In another words, a decent classy fragrance, worth a try.

I dont how why there are so many hate on this fragrance, maybe its because the man himself. Yes we know it this fragrance created for younger guys, maybe college or highschool. It is cheap and generic, but i tell you the performance is quite good, it has d&g the one vibes on it, or maybe la nuit de l'homme with a fresh touch of citrus or other fruits that i dont know. Considering the price i rate this fragrance 7,5/10.

Helooo my lovely fragheads! I own this beautiful edt... I am an Arsenal supporter so my opinion is solely on the quality of the bottle and its contents. Very high end business man smell Its unique, classy and very affordable in this moment in time Would recommend to office workers as it's clean & classy and won't cause offence to colleges as silage is moderate. A modern masculine. It does mimic the name giver. It is masculine, but not the lumberjack type. A well groomed modern gentleman with a relaxed centered strong confidence. Woodsy herbal with some freshness. I love the smell. Projection and sillage are low though. Good looking bottle, no magnetic cap unlike the limited edition which smells very different.

Simply and officially, this is my new signature scent :), it smells so sexy, soft and it is long lasting one. projection is not so strong but not bad. The lady loved it so0o much. the bottle looks very good and I think it works for all seasons, I could wear it for work, casual, or night. plus it is not expensive.

Really a masculine woody musky frag for me.. Really glad to buy it after searching alternatives for Hugo Boss Bottled Night.. Got a first batch i think when checking the batch code at checkfresh.com.. Its been a 6 years from the date Its unique, classy and very affordable (37USD) in this moment in time..

Great smell with plenty of compliments when worn. Can be worn during the day or night for me.Recommend this even if you are not a CR7 fan...Although i am!

On my skin: Longevity 8 hours + Sillage: First 3 hours, armslength, than 1 foot Winter-Fall or Spring nigths fragrance for me.

Oh dear there seems to be a lot of hate here, not sure it's got a lot to do with the actual fragrance probably more the man himself. As a mancunian and a die hard United fan, you can understand that there could be some bias here but never fear fragrance fans, I'm on a quest for the truth and if this fragrance was bad....I would tell you so. Truth is, for a designer release and especially for a celeb fragrance, Legacy is really quite good. I'd say mediocre and a little bland perhaps but totally wearable, no jarring notes, no god awful repellent aroma chemicals sticking out, just a smooth ride all the way. I can't say I can imagine Ronaldo wearing this, I thought he'd wear/create something much louder. I understand he didn't formulate it but I'm assuming he had some input? Anyway, it's understated opening is basically violet leaf, citrus and lavender but really well done. The dry down has a little more powder and I thought perhaps a touch of iris I like this because it's sort a balancing act between this and citrus/vetiver and a hint of spices. Please don't write this fragrance off because it isn't half bad...worth a sniff at anyway. I personally wouldn't buy it but it's no doubt as good or better than half the stuff on designer shelves at the moment. Update: Well I did end up buying it (only at a rock bottom price) and I must say I have to revise my initial statement slightly. I've allowed this fragrance to get away with olfactory crimes I would not forgive from the likes of Boss or YSL etc... just because it's a celebrity scent (and therefore the enemy) I did set the bar quite low, only to be surprised when it wasn't awful. Wearing Legacy today however and it's a bit of a mess...might be giving this away.

Started trying it in the fall/winter season and it worked really good, not to overwhelming or super sweet, the cold weather sparked better the different notes. I find it appropiate for work and at the same time you can pull this off for a night of drinks with your buddies. In spring still worked quite good but I was a little bit careful with the sprays. Summer season in my city gets really really warm, I tried it early in the morning and it was not bad at all but at noon the heat started to push that sweet/smoky cinnamon kind of like an incense note that started to bother me through the rest of the day. The first hours you can smell the apple and violet, 15 to 20 minutes later it starts to get sweeter, there are moments where the fragrance cools for a bit and smells fresher but mostly it stays sweet/leathery.

Oh man, I really wonder how many of the haters here actually tried this one... something tells me that people are giving this a bad review because it is CR. I am 100% sure that if it went under another brand, maybe like Versace or Dior people would show this a greater respect. No matter what you think of CR this fragrance is beautiful. Especially the dry down. Do yourself a favour and actually try this one, just ignore the hate and trust your nose. Scents like this one unfortunately really brings out the worst from the fragcom, the snobbiness.

Why so much hate for this? Maybe it’s because my nose isn’t as classically trained as what a lot of others users are, but I rather enjoyed this scent. It seemed very handsome to me, a little sour at first but very handsome nonetheless. Warmth, that’s what I get, a warm and earthy tone. Sure it’s not gonna set hearts a flutter but for something to make you smell nice at work I think it’s fine. Gorgeous bottle too. It felt very heavy, the lid especially. A nice cheapie, in my opinion.

This perfume opens like a blend of Acqua di Gio and Montblanc Legend. The middle notes continue similar to the beginning. After approximately 4 hours, the patchouli emerges as chocolatey and, together with the woodiness, this time reminds me of the Impact EDT version from Tommy Hilfiger. If its longevity could exceed 6 hours, it is definitely a perfume you would have the chance to hear more about.

I like the smell of this fragrance, but as a collector this is not something i will buy if its not on sale, for people who is just looking for an ok scent this may be appealing enough but for die hard fragrance fans this will be a pass.

This is a 1970's/1980's macho man on cocaine type fragrance. I want to hate it but I like it.

I tried this once a couple months ago, loved it. Tried it again just to be sure. My first time trying it was in cooler weather. Now it's warming up and the humidity is kicking up. So many fragrances in my collection have become cloying in the heat. I was feeling like I had nothing to wear for the summer. But tonight I'm wearing it and it's gorgeous. Definitely punching above it's weight class. It's a little bit of D&G Intenso but less lavender, less powder, more masculine. The cardamom is absolutely the star of the show. It makes this fragrance as versatile as Bleu De Chanel. I don't really follow soccer, don't know anything about Cristiano Ronaldo, don't care. I wanted to try this because I liked the bottle, liked the notes. And it's one of those colognes I'm really glad I tried. I'll be buying a full bottle without question. You could blind buy this, but there are a lot of frags in this category so I'd say get the one you particularly enjoy. For me, this is the best for warmer weather, I'll get another for colder seasons. Edit: Changing my opinion a little bit, in warm spring weather 60-70° this is still nice. Once it hits 80-90°, three sprays is too much and it starts to smell cheap, synthetic, cloying. But gotta say this stuff is still sexy. Would I recommend it over similar frags, probably not. But I'm wearing it regularly even though I have several other frags. This was another bottle I decided to get rid of. It's got a lot of character, good body with some spice but it just isn't smooth enough for my taste. It's slightly synthetic and in the heat it's too much.

Safe Frag, 6.5/10... but the private edition is slightly better due to uniqueness and longevity.. better 7/10 Review scores only based on cheap price. If these (Legacy & Legacy Private Edition) cost $50+ they would both be 1/10 @ Louismanuel - You obviously admire CR considering you've posted multiple times on this page and the Legacy Private Edition page, I get that the guy does good things because his so rich and can afford to help other people, but I think the main issue that people have is the shear vanity of the bloke... he walks around with a mirror in his pocket to constantly check his hair etc. I think you need to find another idol if you consider this bloke a humanitarian. People as vain and rich as him are not likable characters which is why his colognes won't get full credit.

I am not sure what Ronaldo's creative contribution is to this perfume, but I certainly hope that he is way more imaginative doing what he does best, kicking a ball. Smells quite boring, dare I say even unpleasant. With the hundreds of thousands of perfumes in production, of which most are miles better than this one, why bother?

Opening is nice, but drydown to that overpowering cedar makes this no-no for me. Althought when that cedar stench fades away, skin is left with okay floral note. Just not worth it. Interestingly, skin scent phase is exactly same as in Mercedes-benz Vip club energetic and aromatic althought path there is totally different.

Terribly synthetic mess... tested it the other day and when the gf got home she shouted "and exactly WHY are you smelling like a thirteen year old boy today ??!" - on a positive note, you'll never be accused of smelling like an old man ;-)

Quite literally the worst fragrance I have ever put my nose to. Smells like some noxious chemical from a lab. I wouldn't even clean toilets with this stuff. I doubt Ronaldo had any input in making this.

It was a blind buy from Lisbon airport, and I am totally disappointed. Just save your money. Absolutely cheap, ordinary and soapy fragrance. Nothing exotic and portuguese inside.

Im a big fan of Ronaldo BUT this fragrance is terrible. One of the few fragrances I've smelled that gave me a headache

Disgustingly bitter because of the bergamot and the apple and flowers combo is very synthetic and headache inducing, however the cedar dry down saves this is it is quite pleasant. The longevity is good for an edt but thats about it. Would not recommend, save money for montblanc explorer something. NOT BLIND BUY SAFE

This one has started to show up in Australian shops and I've tested it a few times. First up, the bottle looks good in real life, but the copper sections on the side are chrome coloured plastic and not as subtle as they look in photographs. The weight of the bottle is substantial and the black glass is thick and really looks great. The juice itself is also pretty good. Not earth shattering, but a very competant, well blended fragrance. It's very much like a Beckham scent - specifically his latest Beyond. It's not identical, but it has that same blend of barbershop scent mixed with lavender and some smokey notes that come through after about an hour. It lasts well, I got about 8-10 hours and sits close to the skin most of the time. Overall, it's well worth purchasing if you see it marked down as it no doubt will be. It's not amazing but the quality is up there with many of the latest department store releases.

I sometimes wonder what some peoples opinion would be on an aftershave if they didn't know the name before hand. There will be people who wont give it a chance purely because CR has his name to it. Do yourself a favour and at least smell this, dont walk by it because you see his name and think "no chance". Its a sweet and spicy smell and for the price a great buy. Its downfall is the projection, its probably moderate at best.

I have tested this fragrance few months ago and it is really nice luxury smell and cheap as well,the only one thing is that longevity is very poor,good name and good brand but poor in longevity and sillage as well,,,If Ronaldo come up with EDP version or Intense version i will buy a lot,but for now it is just history...

This has to be one of the best celebrity fragrances for men to come out within the last 10 years. A great mix of bergamot, cinnamon, lavender, and smokey vetiver gives this cologne a sensual and alluring scent. I can picture Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion wearing this back in late 60's and 70's.

Some people selling this fragrance on ebay for $190 plus shipping,,,hahah this fragrance cost only $35 here in my country...It is nice fragrance but projection and longevity is very low...Legacy Private Edition is much better and smells bit different and it is EDP version...

tried it today: don't judge by the first few seconds the opening was generic then after only a few minutes i could smell the real thing. it smells sexy and can be worn in formal occasions I was really surprised by the scent a definite future buy for me. you go CR.9

I’ve had this for a while now and I actually really like it. It was gifted to me for Christmas so it was a blind buy but I’d say it’s definitely good for an office fragrance as it’s not too strong yet not too weak. Has a professional office type of smell.

This smells like Boss Bottled Night if it was more similar to the original boss bottled. The aromas are familiar for sure, and the overall texture of thr whole fragrance. But the general smell just smells like a more warm and sweet Boss Bottled Night

I didn't expect from football celebrity such a great frag.. its underrated but much better than overrated sauvage and some other frags. Great longevity ( 1 spray on my hand and after 3 times of washing still was there)...

Me recuerda al Uomo de Zegna pero con menos brillo al final (menos cedro e iononas) y un toque más aromático y envolvente al principio a causa de la lavanda que esta presente al principio. Muy poco original.

I have tested it and I don't think it's that bad. After reading all the negative reviews here, it seems the hate is all personal. This is not Cristiano Ronaldo, it's just a cologne.

In the opening I get a less sweet Ferragamo Uomo Casual Life then slightly turns into a vince camuto (black) drydown without the leather. 6 hrs on my wrist and its still projecting!

Huge Real Madrid fan and by default a CR7 fan, so I've been eagerly looking forward to this release since he announced it. Will definitely be adding to my collection. Hala Madrid!

Good and nice fragrance and longevity is also good more than 10 hour on my skin not overpowering light smell but long lasting all the day i think best celebrity perfume 8/10 !!!!!
