It’s a beautiful scent, I just don’t think it works too well with my skin chemistry. It takes a long time to mellow down into a scent that I truly enjoy on myself, and so I’ll be putting this in the next neighborhood yard sale. Hopefully someone will find it and fall in love! I will say that on me, the vetiver is a pretty sharp scent at first, and remains that way for a good while. Has a strong bite on the nose. But a lot of vetiver scents seem to come across as extremely sharp to me (I think far more than it should be), so it may just be my nose or my skin chemistry that’s to blame for it. Pretty darn good for the price. On me? 2.5-3 out of 5. On other people? Probably much better.

I'm still trying out the perfume because I just got it yesterday. It's a really interesting one, simple but comforting. Haven't tried out JPG La belle which this is quite obviously a dupe for so I can't compare. I'll see if the longevity gets better with time cause right now it's a relatively light scent. It opens a little bit synthetic but for 5 euros that I paid for it I really don't mind. The scent is literally pear and vanilla, when first sprayed it really is like a freash pear which I haven't smelled yet (I'm quite new to this). Then after it settles with the soft light vanilla the fresh pear turns into kind of a pear compote. So all in all a cute perfume and if you can get it for cheap I recommend, if anything to wear around the house for a comfy feel.
