Cuba Authentic Flame

So I like this one very A LOT but sadly its not because its a good one. I just have many cool memories with it and I feel really good when i smell it once again. Keep in mind because of the price the performance of the batches can be different. Some people complain about not being so strong and stuff but personally I dont feel strong fragrances as strong as other people but this one is like a happy mid for me. Maybe even a little under. One thing I havr noticed is that this fregrance smells different in the winter as in the summer. Its totally not a winter one but i wont say i havent worn it at winter. The first 2 hours with it are very good but after it becomes weird. Like i can smell it still but its not the same as before. Be careful because i have sprayed it on a hoodie for like a week every day and after i washed it it still smelled like this fregrance but with very changed notes. Not saying they are bad i like them still. Overall 7/10 very good but not enough

Smells like Eternity Now(from memory, but I actually have a bottle to test side by side) plus something I can't determine just yet Just got it today, paid $10, worth it if you're into these types of scents Not impressed by the bottle, we'll see how the sprayer holds up I like it, but I'm Coconut fragrance biased, still would recommend as a Cheapie Update: Upon further review, I still get the Eternity Now vibes, but it's sweeter, like Zara Rich Warm Addictive Testing them side by side (Calvin & Cigar) actually makes Eternity Now smell like Chanel Allure to me

Honistly it smells amazing for the price. It a good scent for summer and spring or if you're on a tropical vacation. Good for day and night in my opinion. The opening smells just like if you were to close your eyes and smell a pina colada. Once it drys down you get a more fresh smelling scent with a lighter version of the opening in the background. I don't really smell the sandalwood or cerdar and i'm ok with that. Overall: 7/10 Price: 10/10 Longevity: alright (4-5 hours on my skin) Sillage: Moderate

BE AWARE, THIS IS NOT A LE BEAU CLONE! I compared this to Le Beau EDT and Le Beau Le Parfum and no, this is not an alternative to those. This is instead a clone of JPG Scandal and it also has decent performances for being so cheap. Bottle is garbage, why they copied Montale?!

To reiterate, I grew up on Cuba Fragrances and loved them. They are perfect for young people just getting into the perfume world. But Cuba Authentic Flame is a miss for me. I definitely can see the Le Beau comparison from the opening. It's strong scent of Piña colada for 20 minutes (which I love) and then it's scent-less. I wore Authentic Flame four times around different people and vastly different environments and no one could smell me; I couldn't smell myself. I don't know, maybe my batch is bad. Edit: I don't usually suggest this but bring the bottle for continuous application. For $8.50, I still expected at least an hour of longevity (to hell with projection).There are other cheapies out there hitting way outside their weight class in all categories. This is not one of them. Scent: 2/10 Performance: 1/10 Value: 5/10 Overall: 8/30

So I'm going to try my best to write a review on this that covers everything since it's extremely hard to find info on this fragrance. SETTING: This is a fragrance that I think about when I close my eyes and see myself walking on a beach (real or lakeside beach), sand between my toes with a casual light colored dress shirt, halfway unbuttoned with shorts and looking into the lake/ocean thinking "wow this is beautiful, I'm glad I'm here" with a pina colada in my hand. SMELL / PERFORMANCE: The smell is really sweet to me and I like it but it gets cloying as well so it's very confusing to me and I've been testing it in 55-65F weather, no sweat environment. The fragrance stays the same from start to finish and lasts about 2-3 hours on my skin / clothes which isn't bad for $10-15 this fragrance is but for some people upgrading their libraries this is weak however for people just starting collecting this fragrance is not bad at all. OVERALL: I would recommend this to someone who doesn't mind overbearing sweetness and someone who is just starting off in their fragrance journey. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who started to develop and fine tune their taste while on their journey or someone who doesn't like warm sweetness smells (I have a feeling this would be overbearingly cloying in the hot Summer heat due to it already being cloying at 60F). If you do decide to get this fragrance, don't be shy going 15-20+ sprays as it's light, very light. As well as decant it because the sprayer on the can sucks. I was spraying myself today and a gigantic glob just sprayed onto my shirt from several inches away. I've only worn this fragrance 2 times and I'm unsure if I want to keep it or scrap it. I might save my 3rd wear for a blistering Summer day to see how it performs - until then this is my review and how I currently feel about this fragrance. I'm personally unsure. Edit: I am bad with terminology, when I said cloying - I actually meant sickenly sweet. Edit 2: I am not going to be wearing this fragrance anymore and I'm giving it up. I found out why I was iffy on it, there's a smoky musk note I can faintly detect and I hate those kind of notes.

Man, this stuff is easy to spray, smells absolutely spot on with le beau, just weaker and less balanced by a tinge, so overspraying and just casually wearing this is fine, the price is ridiculously low, decent bottle design, terrible coloring, why black on metallic red? Cant even see the text, smells great, pure coconut sweet pineapple and vanilla, blind buy all day for the price 9/10

Decent fragrance, but the packaging and name is all wrong. This should have been called Island Breeze. Cuba Flame is very similar to CK Eternity Now. Flame has less tart accords(carambola/starfruit note) and projection. Be careful, the spray nozzle has a tendency to leak.

I want this! Love those new bottles or cans. Straight rip off montale parfums! Oh well... let's get it!!!
