Cuba Authentic Mystic

Holy wow what an absolute dupe of Guerlain’s L’interdit! I have a sample of L’interdit that I have been babying for years and only use once in a while, now I can douse myself in this scent whenever I wish...which is something I would need to do since the lasting power is not the greatest. The downsides are obvious; this scent is not as intense or creamy as L’interdit, the lasting power is closer to that of a strong body spray, and the bottle is very cheaply made. But for $20 I am not complaining.

This is really dark fruity grape juicy in beginning 30 minutes after that it's vetiver slight vanilla barley like really faint to skin,so you will most likely have a good body mist which is perfect for days I don't want to wear perfume,I still really enjoy for those days I'm not in the mood for perfume &want to wear body spray or misty mystic,it's really nice I love this it's definitely mystic vibes,cute bottle,coming from someone who likes longer lasting scents says alot•♡•I love body spray to&a few days a week I'm not in the mood for a regular perfume so this is a perfect blind buy&same price as a body spray&performs just like one,just in a cuter bottle•☆•yay! It's a good experience I'll continue to buy this as a body spray💫💜💫love the dark fruity juicy Ness •♡•

This is not a bad fragrance at all. I love tuberose but I couldn’t make it out as that when I first got it but after having it a couple of months it’s matured a bit and is quite cosy Smells just like a generic designer perfume from Lancôme. I love the MONTALE copy tin. It’s a great starter perfume for someone who just wants to smell nice. It’s very generic and none offensive and would be suitable for most occasion's. I’ve seen it on eBay and Amazon and it’s very inexpensive so good value.

Really lovely, rich scent, cool, airy vetiver, great patch n vanilla in the drydown, Montale dupeyness notwithstanding, the two I tried from this brand were excellent. (I really feel white florals in here btw, whatever anyone else says, a lightened non bubblegummy tuberose.)

At first the vetiver was most powerful note but I sprayed & let it macerate for 2 months and WOW. It all comes together now and smells more expensive than it actually is. Addictive white floral.. Be patient with this one - she is pretty good.

I'm testing about a dozen perfumes I chose from mining the myriad "Cheap and Chic" articles here on Fragrantica (which I LOVE). Cuba Authentic Mystic is up first.... Mystic is DEFINITELY a white floral, but is totally smothered in ripe pear and underpinned by the most subtle and sweetest interpretation of vetiver and patch I think I've ever encountered. I definitely smell their earthiness, but get none of the loamy, bitterness that can pull a perfume kind of screechy or dirty. At first, the whole combo reads grape syrup or even maraschino cherry (maybe a little bubblegum creeping in there bc of the tuberose?) but is ushered into more interesting, mature territory by the subtle pull of the earthy patch and vetiver. It develops pretty quickly, stays fairly linear, and isn't your typical white floral, floral/fruity, or floral/patch perfume, but pulls from all those categories into something pretty unique and highly enjoyable. You'll need to overspray a bit (I applied it to all my usual pulse points in addition to my hair), but 8 hours later, I still smell some syrupy fruit, vanilla, and soft patch, which is outstanding for the price and well-worth the blind buy.

I know it is not in the pyramid, but I get freshly sliced ginger alongside the fruit as a top note. Lovely, if a bit unexpected! I shall look forward to the dry-down. :D
