Cuba Jungle Tiger

may be similiar to Poeme, but not that close.. I have both, love Poeme and this is just a strong like. Poeme is a magical mix of so many notes and constantly changes on me. Tiger is much simpler, a stronger citrus & spice with lavendar, and stays the same thru out. Tiger is very good and pretty unique to me, similiar but no Poeme. I do really like Tiger, a tad masculine but still softly feminine.. Great on its own but I cant wait to try layering it with something musky or maybe some vanilla.. hummm

A beautiful fragrance, VERY much like Poeme, at a fraction of the price. Great buy!

Great budget scent ! I had a friend who worked at the Lancôme counter back in the day, so although I have never owned it, I was very familiar with Poeme. This does smell like it, particularly after about 20 minutes. It has the slight lipstick vibe from the violet but it’s not overpowering. I struggle with iris and other purple florals but this one is done well. It has good sillage and longevity. The bottles are, let’s say, interesting. Honestly, I couldn’t care less about presentation if the juice is good. This is available for under $10 for 100ml if you shop around online. It’s a great little cheapie and good value for your money!

Musk, benzoin, and tonka in here too! Cashmeran in just a small amount for its creamy-wood effect. And tuberose, orange blossom- frangipani (?)- and something peachy- and touches of mint, anise and cinnamon- very beautiful blend with character- especially for the price. Yes, it does smell most like Lancome 'Poeme'... maybe also a bit like 'Tabu'? The very long-lasting drydown leaves you with a creamy, ambery musk graced with vetiver- enchanting. Cheapie but goodie!

I bought this blind as I wanted a perfume that was like one of my all time faves which is the discontinued Forever by Yardley. It doesn't (sadly) smell like Forever for me but it DOES smell like a dupe for Le Classique. It is a little bit sweeter and orangey but just a baby powdery as Le Classique.

I have had this forever, and I have worn it often to work as a deodorant, I like how comforting it smells on clothes. The terrible and funny bottle makes it difficult to think of it as a clone of Poeme or Le Classique. Wearing this is one of my guilty(?) little pleasures.

It’s like a mix of Gabriela Sabatini and alcohol when applied. Medium sillage, low duration. It seems to be a spicy floral after drying. It's not so bad. It might last longer if applied to a scarf or clothes, but I haven't tested it. It can give some people a headache!

Very pretty and compelling. Strong fragrance with projection, sillage, longevity, and it lingers forever on clothes. The top smells like grape hyacinth and wintergreen, of all things. It's a cool floral.

Just got this. It was a blind buy on word of mouth.. I Love it! Quite layered and great staying power considering the price!! I got the the 1.17 totally getting the 3.3 soon!

For me it smells very cheap. It does resemble indeed Poeme quite a lot. And it does have the Truth or Dare vibe. But it's also very ...bitter, dirty-ish in the begging. I don't know how to explain it but if you smelled some 2 dollars sweet perfumes, you know what i mean - they all have that cheap, synthetic smell to them, that dirty and chaotic mix of different notes that smells somehow....dirty, unpleasant, pungent. After a while it settles down to a sweet, tame Poeme-kind of smell. I like the second part of this perfume better. But is faint, it's more like a body mist. So I have mixed feelings about this. I wanted to love it ... after awhile I kinda like it, but the first 30 minutes are horrible. Just to make another comparison after the dry down it smells extremely similar to Xavier Laurent Spray deodorant - L'amour.

Ok I had blind bought this before reading the reviews and it took ages to arrive. It was super cheap and I’m a Tiger, so felt drawn. Now I get it. Totally getting Poeme (in a sweeter key) mixed with Le Classique. And a buzzy orange note over them both. The bottle is terrrrrrrible 🤣 the scent is “unexpected” and I am amused. Will try it out again. Might end up rehoming. The end note now smells like a faded smell of the old scented fat markers from the 1980s. The purple one. Fake grape? 😁 well...it could’ve been worse.

I was excited to buy this, thinking it would be similar to Poem—light, powdery, citrusy, and perfect for a quick pick-me-up in the spring and summer. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. When I first smelled it, I picked up an earthy note that I didn't enjoy, and the spices didn't seem as fresh as I expected. It made me feel a bit nauseous! I’ve had a lot of luck with blind buys, but this one didn’t make the cut. I suspect it might be because of the more budget-friendly ingredients since the price was under $10 (I got it for $6). The Cuba line has some hits and misses, so it is a 50/50 chance of finding something you love. I thought I was getting two fragrances for the price of one body spray, but I think I’ll stick to finding one great scent at Bath and Body Works next time. Of the four I picked up, I liked two, so I spent $12 effectively for each lovely fragrance! They tend to have poor longevity also. If you can, I recommend trying before you buy. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, you might love it! From the reviews, and my experience, it seems to be a bit of a gamble!

Голова кружиться от восхищения дупликации Поэмы в этом незначительном флаконе. Сейчас оригинал не доступен по карману но этот аромат одинаковый как Поэма в точку. Просто обожаю этот запах! Столько много нюансов в этих парфюмерных нот и столько-же воспоминаний. Теперь я знаю что без этого аромата жить нельзя. Если приложить усилия, то можно сравнить характер этого аромата с Тигром: они самые большие кошки. Рядом со мной стоит этот Тигр парфюмерии! Честно, просто покупайте и не сомневайтесь что Вы останетесь очень довольными. Редакция: Такие вещи нельзя делать: производить своё представление на оригинал самых яриких духов в мире. Это портит имя тех духов, настоящих, которые только принадлежат Ланком. Ненавижу подделки! Сложно назвать эту жидкость духами. Когда мокрая одежда насыщена этой смесью, тяжело переносить запах влаги и болотом. Стойкости нет. На что это всё полезно? Для любой уборки. Ведь только оригиналь может быть тигром.

I came by this as a result of a swap and it's hard to decide if I love it or loathe it.. If I do love it it's probably because of magnolia and casmere wood - that would explain.. However, my nose tells me I get something else here, like jasmine and vanilla, maybe amber too.. Somehow it's growing on me, although I hate the name, the bottle design even more. Staying power is quite weak too, it's almost nonexistent on fabrics even, which is never a good sign. If it had more staying power, I'd give it a chance cos the scent itself is somehow still interesting. Respray is the name of the game..It could be a good scent for autumn and winter, maybe even summer evenings as it's not too sweet. Something about it brings Jil Sander Sun to mind, but maybe it's just wishful thinking..

Blind buy, of course! I keep going back to this one. It could be a unisex fragrance and I usually don't get into wearing men's fragrances, although I do love smelling the sweet ones like this one. I love smelling it on me. It's sweet but not overly sweet. It is totally non-offensive. It's so different than anything I've worn before. It's not what I consider flowery so it must be the lavender, so soft and so delicate smelling. I'm actually considering another bottle,just in case it goes away like every fragrance I love. The bottle rocks! It is very unique. For the price, if you like soft sweet, non offensive and not too flowery perfumes you may like this one. Does anyone know what the Cuba City Miami smells like? Just wondering!

I got it yesterday and I hated it. It has this one leading note I couldn`t handle, something flowery - sticky and heavy. Well today after I sprayed it all over - I love it ! I recognised magnolia, other flowers I guess Iris. It became very haunting, still a bit sticky, and almost addictive. I must say different that anything I`ve had before. It smells expensive - I don`t how they did it for 3 $ :-) edit- next day- I don`t know what I was thinking, it faded after couple hours, to a very skin close strenght. Rather flat, on overall, it is OK, not a masterpiece,but a short lasting pleasant scent.Will be great for body-mist lovers.

Están entendiendo mal de qué perfume es dupe, no es de Poem... este es un CLARISIMO dupe de Jungle Le Tigre de Kenzo (de la colección Jungle de los 90s). Por esa razón existe este que es la version femenina (tigre, ya discontinuada) y la masculina, Zebra (aun se consigue). Casualidad que en la version de kenzo es: mujer, tigre y elefante; hombre, zebra. No se de donde sacaron lo de Poem. Por ello es un perfume fuerte, especiado... muy clásico de esa época.

I smell a very sweet citrus that is heady to the nose. After a while it becomes like the sweet scents that are so prolific in the market. But if this is what Poeme is like, it cannot be so bad, can it? To me it has similar opening notes to Guess Double Dare which also starts off very citrus and heady, has that fizzy champagne vibe like Yvresse Champagne. Almost like creamy soda the fizzy drink. I get musk too.

I have both Poeme and Cuba JT and they do smell very similar. Yes, Cuba is a lighter scent with less staying power but I still think it's decent, especially for the price. For some reason I am getting a distinct chocolate note from Cuba JT....no-one else has mentioned this so it might have something to do with my chemistry. I do not get the same thing from Poeme which smells similar to Elie Saab Couture on me.

I also bought this hoping it would be a dupe for the now discontinued Poeme. It’s not a dupe, but it’s close. It’s way more synthetic, less rich, and the packaging is totally cringe. But overall, it’s kind of nice. It’s an inviting and pleasant scent. I don’t get a lot of violet and iris (“powder” scents), and the magnolia is the star of the show, in my opinion. It’s pretty.

This scent is not light at all. In terms of the vibe, it reminds me of something along the lines of Tabu. It is spicy and a bit dark. It has just the slightest hint of lavender and soap on me. It just doesn't last that long. I think it is more like a body spray. I do like it and wear it often.

THIS IS STRONG omg, I think my neighbors can smell it, lol JPG on steroids, heavy and vintagey floral, maybe sexy not even sure, and not a single violet in sight, only spicy/orange powder (is it what they call iris?). Personally I would use it to perfume a neutral talcum.

I love how this smells. I have the deodorant, body spray, lotion, parfum and the glittering parfum. It does smell similar to Poeme.And it is long lasting on me.I also like to wear Truth or Dare,or Classique or Oscar fresh vanilla behind my neck when I wear this scent.
