Cuba Maya for woman

This is such a hidden gem. Or maybe it's just because I used to have Burberry Baby Touch for my boys when they where toddlers and It gives me such good sweet memories. Anyways, I love this scent which costs me € 4,69 for 35ml

I Am REALLY ENJOYING the Cuba Paris Fragrance line scents. And this one is no exception. This is a really unique scent. It's mostly a soft floral with a small dose of fruit. It has kind of a soapy feel to it. I get where one description on a web site says, that, "it makes you feel like the fresh smell of sun after a rain shower".it actually makes sense in their description of this beauty. I feel it is well blended and as with the others, it doesn't smell CHEAP. I could still smell it in my shirt overnight and I still had hints of it on my skin when I woke in the morning. I find this perfect to throw in a gym bag or purse for casual wear or even for bedtime. I got mine in a set, but this Extremely affordable beauty can be found under 10 US dollars for 1.7 oz.

It's a stronger perfume though doesn't last more than hour. I didn't receive many compliments. I am sorry I need to get better on knowing how to compare it to other perfumes, but new and starting out. It's nice but not a favorite, I wouldn't buy it ever again.

It's always nice to try a cheap and cheerful scent that, given the reviews below, might just be great find. Alas, this one is very unpleasant on my skin. A sour, screechy lily-of-the-valley that doesn't develop into anything soft or soapy. I do find the packaging fun and handy too, the 35 ml dummy cigar would fit easily into your handbag. Use to strike a pose instead.

Grapefruit peel, cassis, linden blossom (strongest note), mimosa, hyacinth(?), ozone accord... Very-clean musk on the base, with perhaps a touch of sandalwood. I do not sense lavender. Light and fresh spring/summer frag. I know there are a couple of fragrances out there that 'Maya for Women' emulates; these would be my guesses according to notes/structure after doing a search, but I have never smelt any of them to compare: 'Hip' by Jean Patou 'Pure White Linen- Light Breeze' by Elizabeth Arden 'Duende' by Jesus del Pozo 'Simply Chic' by Celine Dion '5th Avenue' by Elizabeth Arden 'French Lime Blossom' by Jo Malone

I don't even know how to describe the smell of this, but it definitely doesn't smell "floral fruity" to me. According to a description on another website that I've found, it's a "lavender amber" scent, which I would say is accurate. It does smell quite peculiar...
