The Nightingale's Cup

First spray is immediately uplifting, a soft sweet lemon balm that feels warm and bright but not overpowering. Clean musky rose balances the citrus without stealing the show. The dry down introduces a light iris, mild earthy oakmoss, and a slightly salty, addicting shadow of something which I'm going to assume is the ambergris. I love Cult of Scent's aim of creating "sunrises" and "sunsets" in their opening notes and dry downs, which I can definitely see here. The sunrise is a beautiful sunny lemon rose, and the sunset is a more earthy, warm and personal lemon-musk. (Who would have thought that citrus could be.. almost animalic?) This is such a beautiful and unusual use of lemon, and I love being able to differentiate between all the notes quite easily through the journey between sunrise and sunset.

This fragrance is one that made me swoon when I first smelled it. Immediately uplifting with just the right amount of citrus and rose. So many citrus/rose turn sour for me - but here base notes of iris, oakmoss and ambergris are blended perfectly. Extremely easy to wear, soft sillage and moderate longevity.

I fully agree with @tinkmoi on this one - it's an instant love for me too. This one actually reminds me of Cristalle by Chanel. It's not green, but the lemon citrus and rose kind of combine to make a very Chanel like elegance. I hate to say 'this reminds me of that' but it really, truly does.

Just tested this and it is absolutely gorgeous, like brushing against lemon balm on a sweltering hot day. If it didn't have to come all the way from Australia, I would buy it like a shot. So beautiful and uplifting.

Juicy Citrus Rose perfume, very true to the flower. Its Vibrant, easy to wear, and in dry down the oakmoss base blends seamlessly.
