Tobacco Night

The mild spices offset and compliment the beautifully dry tobacco. Like no other tobacco I have smelled. I knew I would buy it the moment I tried it.

This is interesting and unique but I am struggling to get the tobacco note. It seems very herbal to me. I like it and will need to test it out a few more times. Wearing this today, my opinion is unchanged but I have also noticed a dank, earthy mushroom note also. It's part of the unusual combination of notes this formula brings.

Okay, don't tell my partner, but when I purchased this scent for her I knew I'd be wearing it just as much as she does. It's the third fragrance I've bought from Curionoir and now my favourite from this niche New Zealand brand. I adore Tobacco Night's super-cosy and sensual vibe. The tobacco is rich and dark and floats on a thick, lush ambery base. It's heady, opulent stuff. Like my two other scents from the brand, moderation is required with the dosage. One night, according to my friends around the table for dinner, I'd overdone the application. But I did not care as I basked in a fuzzy blanket of exquisiteness that encompassed me and half the restaurant, evidently.

Ok, I don't know where this went so wrong on me. From the bottle I opened, I smelled the wonderful tobacco and rich spices and couldn't wait to wear it, but when I put it on? It's not even listed, but it was straight up dark, earthy mushrooms on me. All and ONLY mushrooms the entire time until an hour later I scrubbed, but this thing is tenacious. Have you tried Bruno Acampora's muscs? That kind of mushroom smell. So I never did get any tobacco, spices or anything but mushrooms. Oh how I wanted it to smell on my skin like it did in the bottle! Chalk this one up to weird chemistry, but try before you buy!

YUMMMMMY!!! I love the smell. I am manifesting that my future husband wears this - he is so rich and allows me to lose 10k each month on my silly little business.
