Crystal Ritual

Love love love this perfume. This is my new signature. I was unsure about this one as I don't like wood or incense notes. This was so well blended. You get the floral fruity notes of jasmine strawberry and rose and then the woody and incense notes provide depth and an air of mystery but it is all very well blended. This is made for a stunning strong woman who is unafraid to speak her mind. I'm so glad I found this.

I was instantly reminded of a Lush store when first spraying. It's very pretty, smells clean and is blended really well. I'm quite fond of fruity Perfumes and this one hits the spot! 💜🔮

Crystal Ritual? Honestly this needs re-naming. This is strawberry and styrax with something floral to undercut potential candy fizz. It's the least gothic fragrance imaginable! The soapy undertow is strong, and yes it wakes you up, but the accompanying story of a young widow bringing her dead husband back to life with this scent is just hopeless. This is no zombie fragrance, and it barely evokes the sinister. If you want to give it that edge of the dark, call it Lucy's Last Promise or... no, I must stop myself, I've got hundreds of lush names for this perfume! Why not really evoke the deadly beauty in the garden at midnight, Mina mourning after her friend's funeral only to wander alone among the statues and flower beds and smell the scent her friend favoured so much, sweet and light and mischievous with something other beneath. Then Mina begins to wonder if Lucy is calling her, imagining her voice over the hedges and through the flowers, and behind it, another voice, more compelling and more... what? Just more? Something to approach or run from? Fulfilment or just another dream of roses under the moon? There, that's a story better for this pretty scent, isn't that the business? I don't even want royalties. Just send me more of this stuff. It's too cute!

The first time I smelled this I thought it was pretty, then forgot all about it. I wore it to work yesterday to give it a chance- It is a woody floral feminine smell that dries down to a lovely sugary strawberry. The girly light sister of Vampiren Veil.

Got all three of these as samplers. Couldn't agree more with AlienCowGirl. These are all just standard feminine fragrances with nothing gothic or dark about them. The lore and packaging makes you think of something more akin to BPAL's catalogue, but they're just regular rather juvenile feminine fragrances. Not even any patchouli notes! The staple of gothic fragrance. There's nothing wrong with these sorts of perfumes if they're a tenner from Bath and Body Works or Avon, and they're pleasant enough, but I was really let down from the advertising. I'm not goth or alt myself though, I just have a penchant for darker fragrances, but I keep seeing good feedback on these from goths on Facebook, so maybe I'm missing something. It feels like you're paying for the aesthetic. This one reminded me of Soap and Glory which my mum loves so I gave it to her.

The person who mentioned soap and glory instantly reminded me of my early uni days where I would sometimes use the pink soap and glory body spray - it defo smells like that!!! It's very sweet and soapy and is exactly like the body sprays you can get from boots when you want to upgrade from So? or Impulse, but still want to spend under a tenner (eg soap and glory, some of the ted baker ones). Not what I was expecting at all from the company branding....a little disappointing and honestly you're better off getting a cheap bath and body works spray for the same scent profile

Honestly I'm disappointed with the whole edgy theme this company is going for and making perfumes that easly pass as Ariana Grande or another Britey Spears bottle. Just another sweet feminine fragrance. It's not bad, it actually does smell a bit like strawberries and flowers but reminds me more of a room scent.

It is a shame that I did not have a good experience with Cursed perfumes. I decided to try the samples before I committed to a full bottle and good thing I did. While the ''Dev'ille Initiation Set'' had perfumes I absolutely adored, Crystal Ritual being my favourite of them all. The downfall was every single one of the perfumes lead to me having an allergic reaction. For context I do have sensitive skin but normally I do not get allergic reactions to perfume unless it is very poor quality. The perfume doesn't have a single ingredient that I would normally be allergic to so quality issues must be the reason. Be wary of buying them if you have similar skin to mine.

At first, it smells like a bath bomb from Lush. Then it becomes the whole store, a sickly amalgamation of all the scents and soaps inside.

This smells exactly like Soap and Glory, which is great if you like that, but I don't, and it doesn't last long on the skin. Overpriced, poor quality, none of their scents are originals they're all based on something else (which is fine but they don't disclose it), none of them particularly have the spooky goth vibe they want you to think they have (this one least of all). Also, the brand uses AI heavily in their marketing now and denies it.

Opening: jasmine and strawberry come across strongly, followed by rose to create an attention-grabbing fruity/floral accord. Mid-game: woody/ambery notes emerge to add weight to the fruit and florals. Dry-down: smoky amber accentuates the fruitiness. Overall: a striking fruity/floral fragrance redolent of J’adore by Dior but with a darker sensibility due to the amber and smoky notes.
