Moonstruck

Opening: the jasmine is immediately reminiscent of potent floral perfumes by Dior but the liquorice and coffee quickly bring it closer to something that Mugler might have created with the clever juxtaposition of lighter florals with heavier gourmand notes. Mid-game: vanilla and pink pepper adds sweetness and sharpness. Dry-down: ambroxan and patchouli undergird the richer top and heart notes with pervasive grassy and herbal tones. Overall: a clever blend of floral, gourmand and grassy notes combine to create an engaging and original feminine that demands attention.

Purchased Moonstruck as I adored the Corpse Bride inspired backstory and scent profile! This was my signature all through Autumn and Winter. I’m a huge fan of coffee notes but MS is certainly more of an iced latte kind of coffee. It’s cold yet inviting, pink pepper and liquorice being very dominant. Be careful and keep it to maximum 2 sprays on this one... silage of this fills a whole room with one spray! Excited to see where CURSED goes moving forward.

I've tried all three feminine perfumes from this brand. I absolutely love cursed fragrances. All perfumes come with their own lore which is so cool. This one is similar to Mugler Alien, a sweet floral with Jasmine, but so much more interesting and deep. Performance wise it's amazing and you can smell it on yourself throughout the day.

I have had this one for a while and forgot about it (I was more into Pretty as Poison and Ritual Spirit) Maybe it is the colder weather but it has gone from basic and sweet to Sparkly and ethereal. I smell more of the Patchouli now.... and something else I can't put my figure on (probably the way the liquorish blends with the jasmine) that is sweet and magical.

Feminine floral fragrance where jasmine plays the main role. Quite light and unoriginal. When I got smaples from Cursed I was expecting some unusal and "dark" perfumes. But all perfumes for woman are light and sweet.

Quite nice floral and patchouli hints when first sprayed. I tried each sample from Cursed Fragrances for a full day to test their longevity and this one did quite well! It's very pretty and quite alluring. 🥰

When I sprayed this perfume, I was immidiately transported 20 years back in time, when I and my friends used similar white flower based scents. This smells exactly like one of them - pretty sure it was Fragile by JP Gaultier. I was delighted with this memory and sprayed the perfume again, just to experience it. Anyway - on a first try it is a pleasant, old fashioned but elegant jasmine scent, romantic and airy like a spring night in the garden. I feel some ambroxan too, giving the flowery note note a "frozen" quality the flayer speaks of. I don't feel any other notes mentioned - especially no trace of coffee note (which was the one I was most curious about.) Just like many other scents from this brand, it smells best just after spraying and as time passes artificial, less pleasant notes come out, reminiscent of any cheaper flowery perfume. Overall it is a nice scent which can work interestingly worn for an evening out by an interesting woman with a romantic, gothic style - or by a daring man! For everyday wear it can make one smell quite old fashion/"old lady" like (however old ladies I know mostly wear more modern scents!) The bottle is very nice, as always.

I don't dislike this fragrance, but see my last review of Crystal Ritual. They just smell like Bath and Body Works body sprays. Nothing wrong with that but they aren't remotely dark or gothic. The 80 odd quid price point doesn't feel justified. What they make me think of are those Avon fragrances, the Secret Fantasy ones, especially Midnight, which I wore a lot in my teens that are performatively edgy and appeal to edgier people in their packaging but at the end of the day are just a very girly almost kiddie like perfume. I was most excited for this one because of the mix of vanilla and patchouli but both were undetectable. Just a one note white floral. Smells a bit like water that was transported in the same van as a few spilled bottles of Mugler Alien. Like Alien, suits a rainy and overcast day but not even remotely for nighttime.

Black Opium with a noticeable licorice note. Not for me as I've never been a fan of B.O. Much prefer Pretty As Poison Ans Vampiern Veil.

The coffee note reminded me of YSL Black Opium
