Pretty As Poison

All the people who have put it is like Poison , it is not. Nothing like it at all ! It's an almond ,.cherry , powder frag and I love it. It reminds me of LPRN Black Perfecto a little , which I also.own, however the almond and cherry are MUCH more prominent in Pretty as Poison. I've never tried Lost Cherry or Trafalgar so can't compare them . It's strong , good projection and long lasting. All the Cursed Fragrances are (I got a discovery set gifted to me , which I was over the moon with !) .my one complaint, which others have noticed is that all of them are very close copy's of current popular frags , with some slight tweaks. I hope in the future they are confident enough to release some authentic creations. However, as far as dupes go , these are good ones. EG - I really love Vampiren Veil which is BR540 with a very good juicy strawberry top note. Strawberry is a tricky ones that a lot get wrong , and it can do easily smell cheap/fake , their strawberry is really good! However , am I prepared to pay £90 for a dupe that can be had a lot cheaper from the Dubai brands? .... Hmmmm. .... Asking the big questions right here !! Please please please do some more authentic creations Cursed!! The quality and longevity and presentation/branding are all spot on. It feels like they have played it too safe by going for very safe/saleable/popular profiles. Fair enough , but the frags are too close to Dupes rather than just being in the same profile ? Hope this makes sense. EG - from the rest of their collection we have the following Tobacco Vanille Ombre Leather x 2 (yep, 2 diff frags !)! Black Opium Burberry Her

It smelled for me through the package. Delicious sugar-dusted, liquored cherries. I was looking for almond and liquor notes since Mugler discontinued theirs, and this definitely hits the spot for me. It's definitely a scent for gourmand lovers, and definitely not for everyone. As a cherry lover though, I can't get enough of it. The only minus is the syllage. I prefer stronger scents, with a noticeable aura, while this one sits close to skin. It still lasts long, but I'd prefer it to have more syllage. That's why I'm still grabbing my Opium Over Red over this one sometimes, and will keep looking for the perfect boozy cherry (eyeing up Black Perfecto).

Got a sample. On me it smells like a cherry bakewell/ frangipane laced with cyanide; super heavy on the sweetness and the almond with the layer of cherry but with a background hum of a little menace, a little threat. Stayed on all day even walking around in very hot weather. I really enjoyed it and would consider getting a full size IF ONLY the company did not blatantly use AI-generated images in their marketing and packaging. A shame for an otherwise responsible-seeming company with good products to rely on the planet-killing slop generators.

As soon as I sprayed it, I could smell the sour black cherry. After 30 sec to me it morphed into a cherry coke or cherry pepsi with maybe some spiced rum or Disaronno in. Once it had dried down on my skin it smelt like a sour cherry bakewell tart. The main notes were definitely sour cherry and almond although there were moments when the liquor, vanilla and cinnamon came out. Honestly, this would be perfect as an evening or night out scent, but you could really wear it whenever!

What a beautiful scent! A yummy, dark and juicy concoction of sour cherry, jammy plum and boozy liquor. It is very deep, seductive cherry bakewell scent without the cough syrup parallel or teenage girl vibe. Definitely a feminine sensual scent. Much softer than the famous TF cherry and lacks smokiness, instead brings softness without being borring or generic. As a fan a cherry scents this will be repurchased.

I absolutely love this perfume! I’m autistic and I usually don’t like anything that smells of anything anywhere near me but since I got this perfume it’s smell has filled my bedroom for weeks even though I only have the tiny sample and I’m not even slightly annoyed! It’s a warm and juicy black cherry and plum to me that ends up smelling kind of fruity but spicy.

Opening: cherry and plum combine with almond to create a sultry, sensual aroma. Mid-game: rose and liqueur add a headiness to the rich, fruity opening. Dry-down: vanilla accord accentuated with cinnamon adds complexity. Overall: a very rich composition that radiates a dark sexiness.

I have tried all the Cursed samples and this is the one I cannot get enough of! Plummy and rich with a cherry note that starts out a bit boozy but dries down into a sweet vanilla and Tonka bean. Very feminine but much darker and richer than other feminine fragrances I have tried.

This is my favourite of the three Cursed fragrances I tried samples of, and it actually doesn't smell like Bath and Body works spray like the others, so we're off to a good start. This might be the only one that comes close to the dark and gothic theme this brand are insisting on. I've actually opted to mix this with Kilian Back To Black for a few gigs and parties I've gone to in an attempt to boost the cherry note in BtB and it worked. So well done on this one, I actually found a use for it unlike the others. If it weren't £80 I might be tempted to buy a full bottle. It's slightly more sophisticated than Crystal Ritual and Moonstruck and more what I was expecting. This is like Tom Ford Lost Cherry, if it were more synthetic and not particularly grown up. The almond is overpowering somewhat and covers up most of the hint at sophistication as it leaves you smelling like you fell into a vat at the bakewell tart factory. I'm a gourmond lover and I think it's too much. Once that's gone you're left with a cloying chemical stench. Again, this is not what I would expect from a perfume that costs nearly £100. I would say this would be great for a young teenager as Alchema says because I just can't picture an adult wearing any of these on their own, but the price point is far too high.

Updating my review to say that after 2 years the scent in my sample bottle have matured somehow, and is now more complex and pleasant. Still a mainstream fragrance, but feels more harmoniously blended. It was more like cherry syrup and vanillin at first, but now I can smell actual cherries and something like a the dark incense. It feels sweetly goth. I even got complimented for smelling nice. I would consider buying it, but I wonder if the current formula is the same as in my sample from 2024, and would it age as nicely? Did anyone here experimented with macerating this perfume? How long did it take? I also wish the company would drop the heavy AI use as it is so, so cringe... the bottles are nice.

Sweet and cute cherry based scent. Pleasant to wear and a bit girly. While all complexity sadly disappears after 30 minutes or so, a somewhat chemical smell of cherry lingers for quite a while and is not as nice as the initial scent. Of all Cursed fragrances I tested, this one is most long lasting. I think it's great scent for gothy teenagers. The bottle is very nice.

This smells amazing when first sprayed but I don’t think the base notes stand out very much. I can still smell it after an hour or so but it’s nothing like the initial smell which was beautiful. I am glad to have bought a 5ml sample of this but I will not be buying a bottle. This would make a better body spray than a perfume in my opinion.

Wonderful sour cherry note, perfect for night time, nicely bitter. Lasts forever. Doesn't smell like cough sweets, and is recognisable without trying too hard. It does actually fit the Cursed vibe, but it's way too warm and seductive for some graveyard story; this is perfect for a gothic nightclub.

Strong boozy cherries with a sweet floral heart. Imagine a woman dressed in red in a prohibition cabaret bar. I'm not a big fan of cherries but this is an amazing long lasting fragrance for anyone who does.

Tom Ford Lost Cherry, maybe a bit softer with some nice almond. If you have Lost Cherry I woildn't pick this up. If not its worth a look but is quite pricey compared to some with a similar DNA....
