Ritual Spirit

Opening: fresh spices are abundant at this stage and work beautifully with the vanilla and tobacco. Mid-game: spices give way to cacao, tobacco blossom and a smokey note. Dry-down: dried fruit and precious woods come through the carefully textured layers of tobacco. Overall: a stunningly fresh and vibrant tobacco scent enhanced with fruity and spicy notes. The balance of notes in this fragrance constitutes a triumph of perfumery and Ritual Spirit deserves a place alongside the best tobacco-based fragrances. A truly beautiful scent and my favourite so far from the talented team at Cursed Fragrances.

Gosh, you can definitely smell the spices and dried fruits, but it's ultimately divine! I honestly can't stop huffing my boyfriend when he wears it... 😍 A firm new favourite!

Despite a grim image of the brand, this is a very pleasant, comforting and lovely scent. I really like the simple, black bottle too. Unfortunately although it is presented as a niche perfume, it smells a lot like a dupe of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille. The scent is quite weak and in a few hours all that is left is artificial vanillin scent (similar to the cooking essence). However I enjoyed using it and would buy a bigger bottle if it was more reasonably priced.

A lovely opening of spice and rich red fruits, undepinned by smooth tobacco and vanilla. The spice and fruits are gone within half an hour and then the vanilla comes into its own. This is a beautiful fragrance that follows popular trends without being a clone, but the longevity is no more than three hours on me, and more than half of that is the form of a skin scent. If it could be beefed up, Ritual Spirit would be extremely capable of turning heads.

I tried all four of the masculine fragrance samples- I find they all start with a sharp note that was a bit overwhelming- However, The dried fruits and spices in the dry down of this one set it apart from the other 3, I will wear this one again.

Opening is fresh and spicy, but just a few minutes later it just smells like Tobacco & vanilla.

Unfortunately this is not for me, 3 tries at the sample, and I personally feel this is the worst one of the 5 samples I received. This is down to my personal taste, I'd recommend trying before buying, as you should with all fragrances 👍🏻 black veil brides is my favourite from this brand.
