I went to try Peak because of Cécile Zarokia, I usually adore the way she handles vanilla, softening it and weaving it gently into the composition. Unfortunately, this time the vanilla felt too present and too direct for my taste. The fragrance is not bad at all, it’s smooth, well crafted, and clearly high quality, but it leans creamy and sweet in a way that doesn’t feel like her usual subtle touch. I missed that elegant restraint I associate with her creations. Respectable, but not my style and not the Zarokian magic I was hoping for.

Fell for the ads and marketing done for this perfume and ultimately caved in to buy it. This is honestly not an easy nor a safe blind buy. The scent is heavily dominated by vanilla and smoke, creating a very unorthodox smell that somehow resembles vanilla infused popcorn. The opening has minor citrusy touches that quite quickly fade away. I can’t really say that I pick up on many of the other notes mentioned, but to me, this is a very vanilla, smokey, “mineralic” scent. One thing I can say for certain is that this is definitely unique.. for good or for bad? That’s subjective.. but it’s a no for me.

فانيلا ناعمه مو مزعجة حمضية مدخنه لليل والنهار بس مو الحر الشديد صراحة عجبني لأنه الفانيلا متقبله جدا وأداء العطر ممتاز مع نقاء عالي العطر بالنسبة للسعر والجودة و أشوفه ابتكار وليس مستنسخ يعتبر خيار ممتاز و راح استكشف باقي الدار قريبا
