This, to me, is a bit masculine! I like it, but it is not the tropical paradise I thought it would be.I smell the amber and even the passion fruit. But, there is something a bit manly about this perfume. I think it is because the sandalwood is the highlight of this scent. It is sweet, but not overtly sweet. It is not tropical, but is it classy. Silage stays close to the skin and seems to have good longevity. Not what I expected it to be, but I like it.

I don't know why I'm out here trying Daddy Yankee perfumes, but here I am. I really can't pick out any individual notes from this, it's just kind of a generic fruity amber mush. It also made the back of my throat sting and itch so I guess I'm allergic to it! :D Thanks Daddy!

Dang, Daddy Yankee! I really wanted to like this as much as I like your songs Vuelve and Rompe, but this smells masculine. And so sweet, but not fruity or gourmand. Like sweet amber, not of the highest grade ingredients. In my experience, this smells similar to the colognes the guys who walk in the club trying to look and walk like Daddy Yankee wear, not like the choice of a woman who would be on Daddy Yankee's arm. Maybe I am wrong, but celebrity perfumes are typically more affordable, so despite the choice of notes of the creator and celebrity, I am guessing the budget limitations for maximum profit lead so many back to the same aromachemicals. So what smells similar to my memory of Unforgivable must be due to that burnt brown sugar with a hint of teak wood base smell. I was hoping honeysuckle, and sandalwood would be discernable. I just tried Bvlgari Omnia Paraiba, and the passionfruit note in that is delectable, however, it is drowned here in syrupy heaviness, when it had the potential to be fresh and soft.

I am by no means as well versed in perfume notes as some of the other great reviewers on this site but I decided to give it a go and write about this one. This purchase was a blind buy for me & I have to say I really like it. When I first sprayed it the scent was sweet but pleasantly so. Right after that(about 15 mins later)came the floral part mingled with something rich smelling (guess it was the amber mentioned? as I said I'm not that great with notes). Then it finished by everything harmoniously settling down into a really soft & pretty scent. I only wish it lasted longer on me but I got a great deal on a big bottle of it so I don't mind reapplying it when I need to. I liked it enough to buy it again and that doesn't happen too often for me. Side note: I noticed it wasn't mentioned in the other reviews but I was surprised to discover the crystals around the bottle are actually a stretch bracelet (extra little treat, yay lol).

This is the kind of low-end thing you might be sort of embarrassed to admit you like. But hey, it's great. Sweet tropical fruit, vanilla, and amber are usually a nice combo. DYamante is not a groundbreaking new fragrance and it's not posh, but it's sweet and likable. As a bonus, there's not a mess of patch dirtying the bottom note. This stays clean through the entire dry down.
