Po'ipu Beach

I’ve been sampling Damask Haus fragrances off and on for the past several months, coming across this indie house right around the same time I started noticing a lot of redundancy in my collection, making me want to branch out more. I’ve tried several and purchased 2 full-sized bottles already. The fragrances feel so atmospheric and nuanced!! When I looked at the notes of this one, I wondered if it was going to smell like BBW Plumeria and was concerned (not that I didn’t once love her, but I’ve moved on- she’s a bit too juvenile for me now). Thankfully, I was wrong, because PINE? At first spray, it absolutely gives you that tropical beach feeling — warm air, creamy florals, salt-kissed skin, soft island breeze — but what makes it special is the way the balsam/piney forest element weaves through everything. It keeps the fragrance from turning into a typical sunscreen or poolside coconut scent. Instead, it smells like standing on a Hawaiian beach where lush green mountains and tropical trees meet the ocean. 🌺🌊🌲 The plumeria, orchid, coconut, and vanilla bean bring the warmth and softness, but that subtle forested balsam note gives it depth and maturity. It feels more grown, more atmospheric, and honestly more realistic than the usual sugary beach perfumes. Like a calm luxury resort tucked into tropical greenery instead of a loud fruity body spray. The more I sample this house, the more I appreciate how well they balance mood, atmosphere, and wearability. Their scents really feel like places and experiences instead of just lists of notes. ✨
