Chocolate Man

A big thank you to Mr. Dame for his totally awesome 4th of July giveaway. I agree with much of what has been said already about the scent - facets of decadent Mexican hot chocolate, cocoa liqueur, licorice, lots of dry cacao powder, etc. The initial spray is also very "cool" to me, giving the effect of chocolate ice cream - but it warms up quickly. This fragrance is rich, low sillage and "matte" - perhaps from the powderiness... (TANGENT...to give credit, a wonderful woman at an amazing perfume shop in Lake Tahoe used the word matte to describe Josh Meyer's work, and now I can't get it out of my head! Had somehow never heard that one...END TANGENT) I found it interesting that Mr. Dame chose to make this a "men's cologne" instead of advertising it as unisex. It is certainly unisex to my nose. Perhaps it's just a coincidence, but given the big 4th of July promotion, it's as if he's telling the men out there: "Join my revolution. Seek your independence from all the garbage, and just smell amazing without spending a fortune. Don't believe the ads with those sweaty 6-pack abs and shirts blowing in the wind. Those guys smell gross. Wear this. Women will lick you, eat you, love you. Because what woman doesn't love chocolate? ;)" I apologize if I have put words into Mr. Dame's mouth! So here's one straight from my mouth -- Go! Buy it! Heck, if you know you like chocolate, buy it blind! Man, woman, doesn't matter -- this is goooooood stuff!! Because what human being doesn't love chocolate? ;)

My spray sample arrived (along with several vial samples of other tasty Dame creations!) and within an hour I ordered a full bottle! I have and thoroughly enjoy many chocolate fragrances but Chocolate Man is my favorite. Chocolate Man the purest chocolate fragrance among the many I own. No orange, no marshmallow, no musk, no cinnamon, no hint of almond. It's the scent of a Hershey Bar when you tear off the paper wrapper and peel back the foil. It's old fashioned cooked chocolate pudding just off the stove. It's homemade fudge that's just been poured into a buttered pan. As Chocolate Man warmed on my skin I found myself rummaging through the kitchen towel drawer where I hide chocolate bars from myself (out of sight = out of mind) because the fragrance prompted such a strong chocolate craving. Chocolate Man is a long lasting, happy fragrance. When I wear it to work people are friendlier & more congenial. It's become my go-to scent when I go to dental and medical appointments because it's soothing to me and both familiar and pleasing to everyone else, from folks in the waiting room to the medical professionals with whom I'm in close contact. Chocolate Man creates an aura of warmth, comfort and fun. I'd love to smell this on a man.

I received a sample of Chocolate Man with my order of Citrus Man and received another sample just last week. Chocolate Man is a quality fragrance and, although I am a big fan of Dame Perfumery, I do not like Chocolate Man one bit. Okay, let me clearly state there is nothing wrong with this fragrance (a prominent rich dark-chocolate accord wrapped in that signature Dame Perfumery DNA)...rather, I simply cannot stand the note of chocolate when it is used prominently in a scent...and this one stands-out very loud and very proud. Performance of this fragrance was excellent; it lasted a solid 10-12 or more hours on my skin and left a very nice scent trail. Performance was not beastly, but it was very good and Chocolate Man is a great bang for the buck. Again, although I don't like this one there is no doubting that it is a quality fragrance and one that chocolate fragrance loves should check-out. I am not going to vote like or dislike on this scent. Doing so would be foolish since I don't like chocolate prominent fragrances. Makes sense, huh?

WOW!!! If you've been searching for the perfect chocolate fragrance, congratulations! Your search is over! Opens with the absolutely genuine scent of hot fudge (the wonderful, rich kind... not that cruddy Hersey's syrup humbug or Tootsie Roll-type mock-chocolate). As it dries I detect more vanilla / creamy coconut (not suntan lotion type) and maybe a little something else... like slight musk or woodiness? Or maybe it's my nose playing tricks on me - making me think I almost smell a little coconut shell or something. :D I don't think this has a gender, either. And I'm not scared... I will absolutely wear this fragrance in public! **** I want to take the opportunity to thank Mr. Dame for his generosity! I purchased a couple of fragrances in trial-sized bottles and he included several samples of other fragrances, some attractive postcards and even a handwritten thank you note!!! Shipping was FREE (!) and everything was carefully and tastefully packed. *** Just wow! Color me impressed!

Chocolate Man. Man, oh man. I love this so much. It's a straightforward, realistic, chocolate. It smells delicious, it projects well, it lasts and lasts. It's everything I ever wanted in my search for the perfect chocolate perfume. It smells like the aroma from a canister of cocoa powder. It is absolutely unisex. You will get compliments. It will attract people to you. It will attract you to yourself. It will also attract you to whatever chocolate you might have in the house. It smells good year round, but really shines in cooler weather. I put it on before bed most nights. It's a smell that comforts me. The price of this fragrance is a steal, especially considering the quality of it. While you're at it, pick up the Chocolate Oil too, the perfume oil counterpart to Chocolate Man. The oil is even richer and longer lasting, and the cologne spray projects like nobody's business. As a pair, they'll turn you into a walking baking bar.

This is a review of this lovely perfume but I also have to just say that Jeffrey is a lovely human being. I ordered his free decant of Chocolate man, paid nothing. Today after a tearful afternoon (difficult day) I got a box in the mail. It was packed with beautiful teal and brown gift paper, inside there was a hand written note from Jeffrey, the decant, and five sample vials. Also a discount code if I decided to purchase. So incredibly generous of him. The perfume is fist of totally unisex. I'm not sure why he classifies this as a male fragrance. This is perhaps the first *good* chocolate scent I have smelled. Real chocolate. It's a little dusty, a little dry. There's a hint of malted powder and perhaps some half melted marshmallows down in the chocolate malted milk. It is warm and comforting and beautiful, not overly sweet at all. I can't stop sniffing my arm and the scent that is hovering around me in the air is just as good.

I was baking a few days ago, and opened a package of Ghirardelli 60% cacao chips. The opening of Chocolate Man is exactly the same scent...deep, dark, dry chocolate with that slightly powdery haze that those chocolate chips have. Very intense. The drydown softens a bit on me, and out comes small nuances of cinnamon, woody-musky-tobaccoey goodness; very much like mexican chocolate. So, so delicious. Very unisex. As an added bonus, this is GREAT for layering. A certain company makes a rose and chocolate scent, so I tried this with Dame's Desert Rose and *voila*, beats that french one hands down. Chocolate Man is also scrumptious layered with Dame's Black Flower Mexican Vanilla. I think I'm a little bit in love with the Dame men; proud American perfumers who so obviously put their hearts into all aspects of their company, from the fragrances to the art to the packaging, customer service and personal touches. They are a class act.

I ran out of my second bottle of the Chocolate Perfume Oil earlier this year, only to find that the Dame was no longer exporting internationally. Mind you, these were my first and second finished full bottles, ever. "Alright," I gulped. "This is it, this is the end for us." And so began my search of a fragrance to fill the void left by this Chocolate Man. I traversed the depths of Axe and Demeter, explored the vast plains of Ganache Parfums and Montale, and finally briefly enjoyed a beautiful view atop Mt. Kyse. Alas, it soon became apparent that I would never again be complete. But just then! As luck would have it, I found that this gem stocked on Smallflower (which does ship internationally!). And I bought it in a heartbeat. And when it arrived I fervently ripped the box open. And I gave myself a couple of sprays. And once again all was right with the world.

Mexican hot chocolate so good it makes me consider licking my arm. It's a perfectly balanced blend of rich drinking chocolate with freshly grated, woody cinnamon bark and a pinch of red-hot chili powder. The longer it remains on my skin the creamier it becomes without compromising that gorgeous blend of spices. Another thing I notice about Chocolate Man is that it is decidedly boozy, almost like someone added Godiva chocolate liqueur AND buttered rum to my Mexican hot cocoa. Can it possibly get more decadent than this?! Nope. Remember that scene in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where some kid cracks open a pumpkin and reaches in to find molten chocolate, and he just shoves his chocolate-covered hand into his mouth like an absolute pig? Chocolate Man smells sinful--the deadly sin of gluttony, for sure. Decadent. Sublime. Chocolate confection perfection.

Another great release from Jeffrey Dame and Dame Perfumery, Chocolate Man Cologne goes headfirst into gourmand territory by providing a very pure chocolate smell that's also oddly refreshing. The note breakdown seems simple to me in that respect: a whole lot of chocolate and maybe some very light citrus like bergamot that actually comes out more in the drydown than the opening, which is itself mainly chocolate. Performance is solid, wtih strong projection for a couple of hours with a reasonable dry down. Certainly the strongest of the men's cologne offerings (to this point) from the house. A great achievement since it smells almost entirely of chocolate, and one of the purest, best chocolate-smelling fragrances I've smelled, and surely one I intend to purchase a full bottle of. 8 out of 10

It's chocolate, straight up, no mistaking it, chocolate. I am a big fan of fragrances that smell "real" (like Bourbon Cedar Cologne Olivina Men), and DAME has really knocked it out of the park with this. Women seem to love it on me, so I would give it a 10/10, would buy again based on that. DAME sent a good number of little samples with the order, all packed nicely, not just thrown in helter-skelter. I wasn't expecting them, but they've gotten a long-term customer with how basically I'm wearing pure chocolate spray that came with presents.

Holy crap, YUM!!! Like taking a big whiff of a sweetened block of dark chocolate. This is just sweet enough for gourmand lovers, but not too much to make it scary for anyone to wear. It’s high quality, smells expensive, unisex, just an amazing creation for a one note fragrance. Truly a work of art, I am so glad to have Chocolate Man in my collection. Longevity is actually not terrible. You WANT to reapply this but you just won’t need to, not for a few hours anyway.

Soooo delicious!!! Beautiful chocolate. A box of rich chocolates! A rich creamy chocolate drink!!! Pure gorgeous, unadulterated chocolate! The most gorgeous smell!!!! It makes me want to lick myself, munch away!!!......and makes everyone else want to too!! My husband loves it too, and we both indulge ourselves in the heavenly smell!! My children adore it!!! Sniff sniff sniff all day long!!! Wow!!!! It's divine!!!

I really like it. I think the chocolate reminds me of homemade fudge. As a nurse I feel this will be a great non offensive fragrance. It has been 20 min since I sprayed a tiny bit on my hand. I am impressed at the small amount I sprayed and how powerful it is. I anticipate it will have great sillage and longevity. I will buy this and thank Dame for the generous sample giveaway

I got to try this recently, and it is indeed so chocolatey! I agree with AveParfume, there definitely seems to be Mexican hot chocolate spices, which seems kind of fitting since Dame is located in the southwestern USA. If you enjoy chocolate, look no further! Chocolate for men and women. Had to add it also reminded me very much of chocolate pudding.

The name says it all. If you want to smell like a cocoa box smells when you open it then this stuff is for you. Not really much depth (meaning multiple notes) but certainly a dead-on, true, non-artificial chocolate. I bet this would layer AMAZINGLY with any other juice you feel needs a bit of chocolate added to it.

Chocolate unisex scent. Great company, treats customers right and just nailed the chocolate scent. I love its on its own and layering. Wish hed amp it up into a powerhouse...but its great as it is . Worth a buy for chocolate lovers. Let it age a bit. Gets even better. Now im really going to have to get a FB

Holy chocolate, Hershey is going to be jealous! This is a DAM,e good representation of chocolate! Most of the other reviews have hit on the finer points so i will try and no be redundant. Just know. If you like creamy decadent chocolate. And want to smell good enough to eat! Check this out! Big thumbs up!

Love this one. Sweet, rich chocolate. Smells like those liquor-mixed chocolates! Good sillage and the longevity is great, I get 8+ hours. This and Montale Chocolate Greedy satisfy my chocolate cravings. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 8/10 Sillage: 7/10

Chocolate Man is the uncanny valley effect in cologne form - you know when CGI is very high-quality but just not quite right so it ends up being creepy? This smells really chocolatey, but is just ever so slightly off, so it ends up being too noticeable which becomes irritating. Plus, this scent is a BEAST, so you can't ignore it. However, I am pleased to have a small quantity to blend with Al Rehab's Choco Musk. Layering makes a wonderful, truly chocolatey concoction that is very soothing. Generally applying anything right before I go to bed irritates me while I sleep, but this one is so soothing that I can *almost* stand to do it; great for just wanting to smell wafts of chocolatey goodness while chillaxing. I read that Dame sometimes includes other small scent vials for sampling - would have liked to have tested some others along with my purchase because the other scents sound intriguing. The presentation was great and wrapped with care, which I did appreciate, but alas no other samples in my box. Of course 8.50 for 5 ml sample is not expensive (I would never go through a full bottle in my lifetime, so 5 ml is probably the perfect amount), but if you want to try 5-6 different scents it costs the price of 2 cheapies or 1 typical discounter designer, so when I think about it like that I wish there were some sort of cheaper 1 ml exploration sample set.

Received my sample days ago needed to test it a few times.. Well it deff. is chocolaty the richer kind not the cheap; but idk I just can't seem to get use to liking how it smells on my skin yet I find myself wanting to spray it on lol odd. I feel the smell of it varies big time though from the smell from the sprayer to when its applied (obviously) When I smell it from the sprayer I get smooth chocolaty ganache or fudgy choc. pudding. But when I put it on I get a kinda dirtier chocolate; maybe not dirty (idk how to describe) but I'm also picking up some unlisted maybe spices or woods on my skin; or it could just be how true choc. smells either way I like the the smell from the sprayer better && I guess I'm wanting it to smell like that on my skin (which it does for .2 seconds then quickly turns to the other smell). This might be a scent though I'll have to revisit when it gets colder. It being hot here now it may tell a diff story come fall/winter. It deff is an intriguing chocolate scent && If you're looking for that perfect true chocolate essence I say give this a try male or female this is certainly gender neutral. Another very nice creation from Mr. Dame, thank you for the sample!

Got to try this recently. It probably runs the risk of being noveltish since its basically just chocolate. But ya know sometimes its nice just to get what you are expecting. Not that I dont love chocolate greedy say, but the name is misleading there. The only thing that might be misleading here is I deff dont think this is particularly manly, or girly. I mean its not like we look at food give it a gender and say thats a girl pancake! Or I want the boy marhsmallow not the girl one! Its food. Its chocolate. It smells good. Thats all you need to know. So again probably novelty for some, but its also priced well. It wasnt very strong on my initial testing but again its not priced badly I dont think so its worth checking out for sure. If you are one of those people that like to layer fragrances another reason to check it out.

I got a 5 ml spray of Chocolate Man and it is absolutely divine. It smells like I've been rolling around in cocoa powder! It's rich, dark and somehow airy and smooth. There's even a bit of a light amber quality to it in the dry down. You can tell just how well made his creations are and there isn't a weird base or any waxiness or rubber that I tend to find in some other niche and indie perfumes. I also want to say that Jeffery is very kind and generous. He included so many wonderful samples and the packaging and presentation were beautiful! I'm definitely going to order from him again in the future and I'm excited to see what else he comes up with. I'd definitely recommend it if you are looking for a nice authentic chocolate scent.

It's been 2 days now since first spraying my Chocolate Man sample. Initially, I thought "WOW! How'd they get such a realistic dark Chocolate smell into a cologne? Nice, but do I want to smell like chocolate? Not really, but I'll wear the sample around the house until it's gone" As the days progressed, I noticed that more and more I was constantly sniffing my wrists, fanning my shirt and longing to smell Chocolate Man again. Yes, it's chocolate! Decadent and addictive! I woke up this morning craving a sniff... One spritz and a full bottle is now on order! Where will I wear it? I don't know. All I know is this is the MOST addictive scent I have ever experienced.

I'm a Chocolate man talking about a Chocolate Man haha! Anyway.....this had me thinking about Tootsie Roll chocolate in the beginning then I started to look at others opinions about this and it made me really look deeper into this. I pulled out my sample and really dug my nose into this and I do agree with others about this smelling like melted dark chocolate. Call me crazy or whatever but I also get a berry note of some sort in this also. This is something that I truly appreciate.

This is dark chocolate perfection! Pure cacao and nothing else, not chocolate powder but a nice dense dark chocolate bar melted on your skin. However, I would much prefer a chocolate with more depth and complexity through some other notes to mingle with. If I end up not finding a better chocolate fume, this would definitely be something I'd buy for layering purposes.

This is a true a gourmand chocolate (dutch cocoa) note as I have ever found. Nothing sweet about it, nothing else lurking in the background--just straight up chocolate. Although the scent is intended for a man, I layer with vanilla and it is wonderful. Longevity is outstanding and the note stays true.

Rich dark chocolate, but very multi-dimensional. Love at first whiff, and the drydown never disappoints. Definitely full bottle worthy. I have the Chocolate Oil. Marvelous fragrance!

This smells like straight Dutch cocoa powder with a soft musk. I love it and it layers very well. Could easily be classed as unisex and projects well in cooler weather.

I like it. It's a dark, smoky chocolate with a hint of leather. More for a man than a woman.

A melty, malted milk chocolate bar with a thick and gooey consistency. Think chocolate syrup, brownie batter, fresh fudge. Underlying the chocolate is a strong bitter coffee note, amplifying the chocolate accord but itself peeking through slightly. As the coffee fades in the drydown, it gets replaced with a woody and gently spiced cinnamon bark. Strong initial projection fades over ~3hr, longevity 12hr+. Much like Maison Tahite's Cocoa2, this is so purely chocolatey that it borders on novelty. Probably a better layering piece than standalone fragrance. I also personally dislike coffee; I think the coffee could be toned down to achieve the desired chocolate-boosting effect without standing out on its own. The higher-concentration flanker, Chocolate+ EDT, smells identical and amps the performance up to absolutely nuclear.

I love this house and what JD does, but this one is the weakest link by far in the Everyman lineup. Something like this confirms to my mind that chocolate is a fine supporting note in perfumery but a poor protagonist. The scent of Chocolate Man is to real chocolate as the taste of Tootsie Rolls is to real chocolate. I don’t think I’d ever want to smell like chocolate scratch n sniff stickers. Interesting, and a brave attempt. But the execution isn’t as compelling as the concept.

159 At first, this is a good semi-sweet chocolate with some sweetness and a boozy vibe(maybe the alcohol). Then after 30 minutes a slightly soured milk note can be smelled up close. Maybe some used coffee grounds too. Intimately, it gives off a powdery sweet cocoa note toward the end. 6/10-nice beginning that doesn’t last.

My Chocolate Man arrived today and I am in LOVE!! Well, the first few mins are a little bitter and harsh, whereas say Al-Rehab Choco Musk and Montale Chocolate Greedy are right away smooth, sweet and milk chocolate-y....Chocolate Man takes a few mins to mellow! Once C.Man sits on the skin the bitter chocolate fades and one is left with the most natural woody chocolate. Jeffrey Damn also sent a lot of wonderful samples, including a very large jar of Sky Father body cream; which is heaven!!!!

Will be a dissenter, and I like much of what Jeffrey has done to date. Yeah, this is chocolate, bitter chocolate, only chocolate, too much chocolate. Someone I encountered while wearing commented that I smell like chocolate and "a bit like garbage." I think there are earthy, moldy, indolic notes in raw chocolate that can give off that vibe. May be a good ingredient for layering in small quantities, but I do not find it pleasant to wear alone.

I don’t think this one is for me. I love gourmand scents but this one missed the mark as it pulls straight up licorice on my skin instead of chocolate...it may very well work great with others skin chemistry but I highly recommend getting a sample of this because it’s a tricky one... I absolutely agree with others before me that have said this would work better as a candle 🕯 🍫

A realistic chocolate smell that grew tiresome after 20 minutes. I agree with another reviewer that this would make a better candle scent.

Having already reviewed Chocolate+, chocolate+ milk, and chocolate+ rose, all with much chagrin, I knew this was going to be another difficult day. Each of these uses the same base which I already find akin to cheap frosting in a jar, premade fondant found at the craft store, or the accidental spilled chocolate "flavoring" because why use real cacao anyway? While Chocolate+ milk I found the least problematic, Chocolate man (which apparently is just chocolate) is still more Betty Crocker than man, leaving me feeling like I had a baking mishap. This isn't too gourmondy. And it certainly isn't too sweet. It's just too darn fake chocolate smelling. It's, chocolate flavored chapstick, scratch and sniff stickers, or some good old chocolate flavored candy cigarettes, all of which aren't really chocolate, and for me neither is this.

Maybe true gourmands are just not my thing. Dame does some fragrances (i.e. Chilehead) really well. This isn't one of them. Would probably better as a candle or room spray. Pass.

I bought this based on a sample of perfume oil I received in the mail from Dame Perfumery. Although I find it to be a good effort in gourmand fragrances, for me it falls short of Dame's earlier "Mexican Vanilla Flower". I find Chocolate Man to be more along the lines of malted milk chocolate, as opposed to rich dark chocolate. Nonetheless, Chocolate Man takes a fun approach to the chocolate note and it does it well. Chocolate Man opens with a milky cocoa butter vibe. I can't help but sense a slight floral note here, although none are listed. Perhaps, this is just the way it manifests on my skin. I agree with the reviews that described this fragrance as safe. It is not traditionally "perfumey", and I applaud Dame for this. Despite being strictly gourmand, Chocolate Man accomplishes another milestone in this category: it smells neither sugary nor immature. It is a perfect blend of milkiness and chocolate, kind of like a more refined version of Palmer's Cocoa butter. Although the opening of this fragrance is the strongest element, projection-wise, what I enjoy most about it is the dry down. The dry down contains more of a cocoa powder vanilla note. For me, this is where the fragrance really shines. I would enjoy Chocolate Man more if the entire perfume was like the dry down, but I can still appreciate the fragrance as a whole. To give a brief overview, on my skin the projection is 7/10, longevity is 5-6 hours, and I find this perfume to be best for winter nights. My overall rating for Chocolate Man is 7/10. I like it, but it's not going in my list of gourmand favorites.

This should probably be named Cocoa Man, as it lacks the sweetness and vanilla notes of real chocolate. This one will not be to most folk’s taste. Every person I have exposed to this fragrance has recoiled, as the opening is very intense. The perfume oil is not as gasp inducing. This is one of those frags which sound far better than their execution. This will definitely attract attention, because folks will be looking for brownie batter... I doubt women would find this attractive on men, unless they have a Willy Wonka fetish. However, I would (and have) used this very very lightly layered on a very sweet vanilla or rose fragrance. I agree that this is a rare miss in the Dame catalog.

Chocolate oleander. I can't get it out of my mind how much I smell oleander flowers in the drydown. This smells more floral than I expected, less of a creamy chocolate cake than dutched cocoa cut with baby powder. Still, it is gorgeous, a kind of cinnamon-y dark chocolate on the patio by the oleander tree in the desert kind of vibe. It's nice, but the baby powder note will probably make it more of a bedtime fragrance for me than casual one as I had hoped. As weird as it sounds, this would suit a smoker very well, and I mean that in a complementary way, as there is something in that clean floral powder note that seems to beg for a dirty tobacco one to me.

This IS Chocolate Man! It is a unique scent because it smells like what Chocolate should smell like And not what a particular chocolate actually does smell like. Dont know if that makes sense. If this was in a police line-up for the offense of smelling incredibly rich, dry and decadent, REAL chocolate would not stand a chance of being charged. This is the stuff you pretend to wear for your lady but you know you are wearing it for selfish reasons. To get hugged long and hard over and over again. Woweeewow wow. This is a fragrance you wear to get a reaction. the reaction will be interesting and yes hugging will be involved!

My husband just received his sample of Chocolate Man, and in the vial it smelled like a strange but lovely combination of chocolate and flowers. On his skin, it takes a different turn. It's as if he dove into a giant box of Duncan Hine brownie mix. He said "it's just...chocolate...and nothing else." He is not crazy about it. I'm not quite sure what I think yet as Chocolate Man as a solo fragrance, but I do believe it would be fantastic as a room spray, a body wash, or a candle, or as a cologne to layer, but it's simply chocolate and overwhelmingly so.

This is one of those “me scents” - one that I wear when I’m going to bed, or hanging out alone. This is for me - and not for those around me. This is a scent that is made for the wearer to enjoy. Talk about a realistic chocolate... this nails it in every aspect. It’s a hard one not to like. It starts off as a powdery chocolate - but as it dries, it turns into a more jammy, syrupy chocolate. To me this is one of the ultimate relaxing scents. 7/10

I have a bone to pick with Mr. Dame. Even though his creations are very reasonably priced, he is going to land me in the poorhouse! Just ordered a full bottle of this after using up my samples. I already have his Monsoon, Musc Neutre, Earth Mother, Mexican Vanilla and Orange Blossom. I have a few other samples on rotation as well. Just waiting for the day when he releases a true to life sweeter citrus and my collection will be complete!

I received chocolate man last night and immediately sprayed it on. This reminds me of chocolate fudge 100%. I waited for it to dry down and I could pick out some added spices in there too. It was light but they are there. Opening was a bit harsh on me but after about 25 minutes I was good. A great fragrance and the price point is perfect. I may wait for fall but I believe a full bottle is in my future.

2020 i just got my sample, sprayed it on my hand and i told my 2 year old daughter to smell it and she said choky ( for chocolate) I'll be Dame :) she nailed it, she has such a sense of smell, jeffrey must be proud of his creation, iam on the initial stage of testing it and it opens a lil bit harsh but it goes away fast and ur left with a great chocolate scent that last a long time, well done Mr Dame.
