Soliflore Ginger Lily

I've been trying this sample for a few days and still don't have words to describe it...Is this what Ginger Lily smells like? I lived in sunny South Florida for many years in the past, an avid gardener, I grew all kinds of exotic plants, but never Gingers.. I'm taken aback by this scent. The opening is oh so intense! First time made me hate it immediately, but something about it had me hooked before I even knew it. Fortunately, the initial shock does not last long, and after that, you're left for hours with the sweetest tropical flower scent. EDIT: Just to add that this is indeed a great scent, which does extremely well in hot weather. 80 degree day and the opening was not as strong as when I first tried it. It is quite an intoxicating scent and I now MUST have it.

This review is for the EDT spray. To me this smells like a cross between stargazer lilies and honeysuckle, leaning towards the honeysuckle. It opens with a natural-smelling aroma like a fresh flower, with petals, stamens and nectar. The opening is intense, and lovely. I wish it lasted longer on my skin; it's a skin scent by 2 hours, and pretty much gone by 3 hours. I wasn't expecting a lot of longevity or sillage, though, and I'm happy to reapply it since it smells so good!

I had butterfly lilies in my yard when I was a kid and thought they had the most beautiful scent. Once I realized that they're the same thing as ginger lilies, I started looking for them in a perfume. What could be better than getting one that claims to be photo-realistic ginger lilies? Yes, this is exactly how I remember ginger lilies to smell, although some had a softer scent as well. I love this for the nostalgia and now feel like I need to send some to my mom, too.

100ml bottle reviewed. This is stunning. Not only do you have tropical soft lily, but you have a sweet nectar component that keeps the lily from becoming obnoxious. Its almost a herbal honey. If you find Narcissus just too much or indolic but want a big Ka-Pow get me noticed floral scent..this is it. Its a unique head turner and I guarantee no one will smell like this. A Hollywood floral. Why isnt anyone talking about this scent???

Incredibly photorealistic floral scent. Definitive Ginger Lily - which others have said is sort of a combo between Stargazer Lily and Honeysuckle. I'll add that Ginger Lily also has some Autumn Olive flower and Juicyfruit gum qualities too - in the best way!
