Stupid Sugar Daddy

I really liked it. This collaboration between Daniel Josier and the people at El Nicho is very satisfying for me. It's true that I'm biased since I'm crazy about tuberose, but this one is beautiful, powerful, and long-lasting. The opening is sweet and fruity, very intense, with a quadi-gourmand touch. It smells like gummy candy or fruit caramel, very, very pleasant, although it might be intrusive for some or in certain situations. Even so, this phase doesn't last long, about half an hour at most, because right from the start these bright fruity notes (since the ginger gives it an aromatic, fresh, and slightly spicy touch) begin to fade, revealing the heart of the tuberose more and more clearly. For me, and on my skin, it's the main note of the perfume, accompanied by the fig, which gives it a unique and very peculiar, yet delicious, touch. The dry-down is creamy, with a blend of soft sandalwood and amber notes, although on my skin the tuberose remains dominant until it fades about 6-7 hours later. Even after that time, it no longer projects, but you can still smell it very close to your skin for up to 10-12 hours. It's one of those perfumes that if you put it on before bed, you can still smell it when you wake up. I find it very unisex and versatile. I probably wouldn't wear it in blazing sun, but otherwise, I see it as suitable for any casual situation, nights out, or even for work.

I second our friend Emorandeira for the most part. I am also biased, as I am Spanish and support Daniel Josier and local showman David Perdomo. There is merit in their collaboration and personal approach to perfumery. For my taste, this is too feminine and floral. What I can say with confidence is that the most original offering from El Nicho collaborations is LE CHEF, WOW. I can't wait for Fragrantica to add it for review. I am buying it,
