Purple Veil

Just as the description says, this is a bottled melancholy, a walk through a wilting flower garden. At first I wasn’t so sure about this fragrance, but it quickly became my favourite. This was a blind buy and I suppose I was just surprised at first, since it was very different from what I was usually wearing. It is a very unique, soft, flowery fragrance with a little bit of bitterness to it. Absolutely love this one.

My favourite perfume from this creator. Deep, dark and sweet. Smells like witchcraft, a flower bed at night, a kiss on the eyelids, it's absolutely enchanting. It leaves a deep flovery scent on the skin and clothes, it's perfect for winter.

Soft flowers, violets, heliotrope, iris and lilacs. Quite nice although initially it somehow feels a bit generic. Very subtle, the description of light floral/vintage powdery/ethereal fits well. This is for people who likes to scents that sticks close to the body and only leave small traces of it in the air. It's pretty but the scent profile feels a bit outdated for me. If you're looking for the iris, lilacs, violets type of scent, you will probably like this. 6/10.

I think this is the first time a scent's opening truly gave me that dark, gothic purple color, and it's this one. These are witch flowers, medicinal, sterile, herbal, and earthy at the same time. Lilac is what I could pick out most, and there's a dry powder too. In the base sits a sharp, fresh musk, and even though the musk here is quite laundry-like, it only gives the scent a sterile, cold stance, never any skin warmth or animalic things. In short, this is something austere and ethereal. There are elements in this scent that drag you into old memories, probably the combination of the ozonic coldness with the powder... Everything was going wonderfully until the drydown let me down a bit, because it dries very generic, the kind that reminds me of a cleaning product I've used before.
