What is it Spring by Dasein When was it launched? 2016 What vibe / image do I get? This one feels alive, energetic, and deeply grounded in nature, like exploring a damp cave in the forest and emerges to new buds of greenery. Performance: What is the longevity 10+ hours What is the Projection Top: Opens with an intense aromatic blast of smokey vetiver and pepper, that somehow is a bit fresh and bitter. Fille the room for me, but the wife cannot really smell it. 30 min Heart: The pepper reduces and a slightly sweet, green and floral base join the smokey vetiver. 8 hours, slowly goes to intimate Base: Settles into a smooth, clean smoky vetiver. 8+ Skin Scent What are the notes that I get? Vetiver, yuzu, black pepper, rose, violet and sandalwood Is this one still on the market? No What can I compare this one to? Reminds me of my own creations, T15 and T17. Similar smokey Vetiver vibes. Compliments? No, but have not worn this one very much. Based on the notes, I would expect guys to like this more than women. What attire Casual to Upscale casual Places / events you can wear it Works better in slightly warmer weather, think late spring or early fall, morning brunches, farmers markets, hiking, even the office. Where NOT to wear this one: High heat, freezing nights, the gym, Who is the audience - age group Unisex, but learns masculine, any age, but leans Mature Will I add a bottle of this to my collection? Maybe, but it does remind me of my own creations, so I am better off wearing those. Why you should try it. If you are looking for a great smokey vetiver scent, you should try this one.

This seems more masculine than feminine to me although this and the other Dasein "season" fragrances are all called unisex. This one will be an acquired taste for some, so I don't suggest a blind buy. At first I didn't like it very much, as the yuzu top note is quite strong. Turns out that yuzu is a note that doesn't agree with me; it drove me away from Burberry Brit Sheer, to my surprise. However, the dry-down of Dasein Spring is quite nice, though more masculine than I would want to wear myself. At this point, after a couple of hours, it's mostly vetiver, pepper and sandalwood. I never really got much violet or rose. This is nice, for the right person, though I don't think it's worth spending $95 unless you really like this kind of blend. I would probably like it more on my husband. The bottle is very appealing in real life.

This is completely vetiver in the top then it gets tempered by the yuzu which gives it a sweetness. This is a sweet, bitter, hay scent. It reminds me of hay fields. I love it.

I'm not really making the Spring association. This fragrance is strong and masculine-leaning, with the pepper aspect throwing the herbal off balance. The juice is pretty, though.
