Signature for Her

I have to laugh at the people who get all snooty and say "this perfume smells cheap"... yeah, whatever... if you are such an aristocrat, why are you wasting your time with perfume that isn't sold at Harrod's anyways? I REALLY like this perfume. The sour apple, though not so very prominent, is a wonderful "garnishment" to this deep and sensual fruity/plummy yummy frag. This develops over time too, which I like. The patchouli is low key. Which I'm okay with. Sensuous Noir has a Patchouli-PUNCH-YOUR-FACE sort of kick to it. Which I also love, but don't need in another fragrance. This reminds me of the thick, syrupy-ness of CK Euphoria, but is different enough from that such that I actually plan on buying a bottle of this. I can not detect the star anise, which is a relief to me since I don't care for it usually. The orchid is exactly as I'd hoped, and probably what reminds people of E.L. Sensuous Noir... (after the patch leaves the building!). The amber/musk in this also gives this an accent that is different from other perfumes that are in this "neighborhood" like: E.L. Sensuous Noir, CK Euphoria, Avon Imari Seduction, Chopard Happy Spirit, DKNY Delicious Night Donna Karan (without the soapyness), and Givenchy's Play For Her Intense... The lasting sweet confectioner's sugar powder dry down is devine and slow-dances lazily with the seductive amber/musk and really makes me want to bury my OWN head in my OWN bosom! Ah... if only! Seriously, for the price ($19.75 on eBay for a 2.5 oz!!!)... I'm probably gonna have a bottle (or 3) of this around all the time. Big hearty thanks to VB for being a part of an offering of such a delightful quality potion to fit easily within a working girls's budget! What a yummy concoction! I normally don't like sweet scents for myself. I like how they smell on paper and on others but on my skin they always seem to go from nice sweet to choking, cloying sweet and I end up scrubbing. I blind bought this...hooray for another very happy buy! The initial spray is so lovely! No alcohol or other strong chemical-like smell to deal with as seems to happen sometimes. Initially I get a delicious blend of apple, anise, and patchouli - what a treat! - but I also already smell the vanilla. For some reason my skin loves this vanilla because it stays with me from spraying through the dry down. (Hooray!) I especially enjoy the anise note because it reminds me of the German spice cookies that a family friend always used to share with my family when I was a kid on Christmas. She has passed away now, but smelling anise always brings a smile and a sweet Christmas memory. After a short while, about half hour, the orchid arrives, dancing delicately with the patchouli and vanilla. I would say maybe another half hour before the base notes warm up and a lovely musk arrives and is an absolute delight with the vanilla and patchouli that are both still with me. Then I get to enjoy this sweet harmony for hours. Bliss! I would say this is pretty much a skin scent. The sillage is really pretty low, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying it. For me it is actually a plus since my husband hates vanilla. I can still smell the last of it on my wrists about seven hours after the first spritz. For my skin, that is lasting a looong time.

I'm in love! This is a beautiful beautiful perfume!! Fantastic! It's my favourite - well.... - maybe?! I wore it yesterday for the first time, having never even tested it, and WOW! Absolutely knocked me out! The patchouli!! Fabulous!! So gorgeous! And the star anise, and the apple, and the orchid, and, oh my God - the divine heliotrope!! Amazingly good!!! Terribly good sillage - at least a few feet, and it lasts SO well on me - I could still smell it this morning, and in bed last night (I'd put it on at 4am!), and putting it on again this morning is simply heaven!! I just melt in it! The soft creaminess of the vanilla and almond, and the patchouli and the touch of musk, just does it! It's wonderful!!! I'll definitely be attempting to get more BECKHAM!!! Very exciting! And my husband really loves it too! Bewdy!!!! Oh! I forgot to say how much I LOVE the colour! It's my favourite colour of all time! And I love the size, shape and style of the bottle too; so sweet and elegant; slim and easy to hold. And the lovely flowers on the bottle and box, very tastefully done. And the box is perfect too! Beautiful colour - beautiful design! Everything's perfect, let alone the fantastic price! Plebs like me can wear really good quality, expensive-seeming perfumes, thanks to that lovely pair. This was a really nice surprise! It starts out with a fresh but not sharp fruity feel to it (maybe that's the perfumer's interpretation of orchid?). The anise is an important part of this awesome opening, but it's very subtle and blended in with what I assume is the orchid note. When I hear anise or licorice, my first thought is 'Lolita Lempicka!', but Signature for Her steers very clear of that category, so for anyone worried about the anise: no worries :) There's some vanilla in the base that keeps Signature for Her 'warm', but it quickly becomes clear that patchouli is the main player in the base. The patchouli is the clean, fuzzy, synthetic kind (as opposed to the natural, dirt-smelling dank patchouli) that sometimes veers into the slightly sharp (and some might even say a little bit masculine). It lasts forever. I sprayed it on over nine hours ago and it's still clearly there, although it lost its character somewhere around the fifth hour. Only the patchouli managed to hang on, and while it's not bad, I don't find it interesting enough to keep it around. But for the price I can afford to respray every now and again. A real low-priced celebrity gem! 4/5

Signature starts with a blast of patchouli on me. After a few minutes I can smell a very green apple note coming along and taking lead for about an hour. Here and there I get faint whiffs of anise but this note is rather shy on my skin. I can hardly detect any vanilla or heliotrope but a soft nuance of orchid is slowly showing its beauty. After more than an hour of wearing I smell mainly patchouli. The apple is still there but it is no longer the most prominent note on my skin. The lasting power is incredible - 8 plus hours and I can still smell the perfume! Signature projects really well, too. This perfume seems to develop differently on many people but on me there is no sweetness overload - the scent is just mainly patchouli with plenty of freshness - a modern chypre I am proud to wear. Newly discovered fragrances rarely replace my old favourites but this one is definitely close to my top 10 and I will repurchase it once my current bottle is finished. 11 stars!

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES IN A BEAUTIFUL BOTTLE. Thats how my perfume will be if I ever do one. Any way.. This perfume, wow love it so much. This perfume I wear anytime I wanna feel special and smell wonderful. I have to say that almost all VB-perfumes are amazing. I read about the perfume on this site before I bought it. Intrigued but the taught of having a perfume with notes of Heliotrope, Green Apple, Vanilla and I love it! I didn't know VB did perfume and she did pick the note herself, unlike many "Celebrity-perfumes". I like that, I like that! :) The bottle looks beautiful and very sweet-chic. The flower on the bottle adds a romantic innocence to the look, me like :) The color of the bottle has become on of my new favorite colors recently. It's long lasting and I think it's important that a good perfume do a big plus. For me it's perfect and I recommend it. One of my favorite perfumes of all times :)

I was browsing shelves at a chemist one day and came across this gem. If I had known whose, I probably wouldn't have bothered (sorry!) but I grabbed and tested just because I liked the bottle. I was genuinely surprised, seriously.. how pleasant this fragrance was! It is unique, a kind of unexpected blend, I found it sophisticated and elegant. In general I don't like musk but this is so well blended and balanced, sweetness, powder, star anise, orchid, musk.... Beautiful. Crisp Green apple disappears quickly on me and becomes sweeter. The back print of orchid on the bottle and the colour, reflect the scent well. Lovey expensive looking bottle. She must be very talented. Really. Well done, V *(^o^)/*.

This perfume is very nice. I agree that it does smell expensive. I personally like this better than Flowerbomb(which is why I don't own Flowerbomb). As a norm, I don't love Patchouli, but this isn't overwhelming. I had the choice of two sizes, and now I wish I'd gotten the larger bottle. The bottle is classy too, and I like that it's pink. If you want a classy perfume, give this a try. It's definitely not just a sweet, aimed at teens, scent. Edit: I just really love this perfume. Anise is a problematic scent for me, but I can't detect it in this, or maybe it's just really well blended. I'm just amazed at how expensive and classy this perfume smells. Longevity and sillage seem good too.

I know this is a love or hate fragrance for most, but it's definitely a LOVE fragrance for me! Beckham Signature has this unique, almost cologne scent with a hint of sweetness. When you first spray Beckham Signature, you get a burst of fruity florals mixed with that spicy scent, which later dries down to a spicy vanilla scent. I personally really like this perfume, it smells sophisticated and mysterious and the bottle is gorgeous! Beckham Signature lasts about 4-5 hours on me, which is pretty good considering this is an eau de toilette and fragrances usually don't last very long on my skin. Overall a very nice perfume, I highly recommend it for fans of more sophisticated, spicy scents.

I actually am growing to love this one! I woke up during the night and couldn't fall back asleep so I visited my dear Fragrantican's reviews. I tried this one on to see if I would re-purchase (i have the 50 ml e.d.t.) and i believe i will! It is not overly strong, slightly fruity , warm and comforting. The orchid stands out when the anise fades and gives it a depth that is rendered fruity by the apple. I could swear there is a caramel note in here or maybe just the combo of vanilla , patchouli and amberish drydown. I give it a 8 for it's beautiful Euphoria-like scent but unfortunately, it has little projection and lasting power on me.... Will update but i definitely love!

I really like this one. The opening is really nice, like a candy fruity floral but between the opening and the dry down, there is a few hours where it smells a lot like jasmine, very floral. I personally hate jasmine, but it is a bit more tolerable for me than it usually is. It is almost as if the vanilla, amber and patchouli are beginning to drown it out bit by bit and overtime, the scent begins to change until it finally dries down into yummyness. On me, it smells like it borders a fruity floral and a gourmand scent, not sure why but I really am enjoying it. I usually don't like these kind of scents and I never would of picked it based on the notes!

I was suprised how much a loved thid fragrance. First it seemed to be similar to Miracle Forever or 212 Sexy, but after a few minutes the spicy-piquant liquorice came out on my skin - and no apples or too much of berries fortunatelly. It is sweet but so lovely and this is a fume by D. and V. Beckam! I definetely love it - an the bottle is nice and elegant, too. Update: yes, the initial notes are more than beautiful on my skin. Th eproblem is that after a few hours the drydown becomes too masculine on my skin - it's all about my body-chemistry, I guess. I'm so sorry I can't wear this.... but that drydown smells really horrible on me.

Whoa! hello gorgeous!!! this is stunning, I love it, it reminds me of a more feminine version of Joop! Home, only this is for a woman. It does slightly have the smell of grapes in the beginning due to the anise and apple mix, it goes from the top notes to the middle quite fast, witch are vanilla and orchid. You can smell heliotrope all the way through from top to bottom. After the dry down is mostly musk and orchids still. This is mildly sweet with a very nice sexy dry down kind of powdery from the orchid. So happy I seen a review and happened to notice this in a discount store today. I bought it and I love it.

The first time I sprayed this on I thought oriental, possibly the star anise with only a hint of apple. The vanilla starts to come through after a few minutes and e entually on dry down the patchouli and musk and amber begin to linger. I love Intimate and half expected signature to be somewhat similar. They are too very different fragrances. I'm not exactly disappointed but not sure if this slightly masculine fragrance works for me. But then on the upside I only paid $19 so it will be a stand by for spraying when I'm at home and feel like a bit of fragrance

Got to hand it to the beckhams for creating great Celeb scents. I got this perfume for $14 for 75ml, which i consider great value as the perfume is longlasting. As with intimate, this smells classy and unique, not your average Celeb fruity scent on the market. This is strong with the anise, apple and vanilla noticeable. Then dries to a powdery finish. The patciouli is noticeable here like in believe by britney spears. This to me is a spicy nighttime version of believe, it's the sexy sister. Worth the price paid.

I am surprisingly happy wearing this fragrance""Big Smile""It is a spicy blend of fruit & floral but not a Fru Fru a fruity.I smell Amber & musk as it dries down & the patchouli adds a light spiciness to it.I picture myself wearing this on a night out on the town club hoping as there is a lot of playful with the seductive.Because after I am done dancing it up with my friends I feel I would undoubtedly end up on a building rooftop with my mans arms gazing at the stars & giggling under the moonlight.

I love love love this perfume,victoria beckham perfumes for me are fantastic,each one smells expensive,and also i find each one smells different as alot of perfumes to me smell the same.I actually got this one as a gift,a huge 75ml bottle which my friend paid £13 for,its starts off strong and then settles to a stunning creamy like scent,that lasts for hours.Also on my skin its one of the only ones that other people can smell.Will always have this perfume in my home

wow. i love this perfume. i feel like i could wear this everyday. i don't mind being complimented every hour. my husband who dislikes patchouli (and i as well) couldn't really detect that note in this perfume, and my husband always keeps leaning in, saying i smell so good. this review is all coming from a dupe roll-on that cost me 1.79 from a website, and for any perfume to last at least two hours on my skin and cost that little, THAT is a good deal.

Each time I wear this, my man starts to inhale deeply with the biggest smile on his face lol. He loves this on me. It's wearable day & night, it smells powdery & floral with the vanilla which makes it PERFECT! This also lasts quiet a long time. But to me the magic works more at night, where it's cold. I get a good 7 hours out of this. The only bad thing is I can't find it any where now. Using my 75ml bottle delicately :)

I bought this as a blind buy as there were no testers and it was on sale. Not disappointed and I like it. I was afraid to get one of those caramel, creme soda, fruitloops, chocolate types. I just let out a sigh and said money well spent because this was a real perfume. To me it smells floral and soft spicy. I don't smell the patchouli what I do smell is the Star anise. It's strong and beautiful. I love it.
