Signature Story for Him

Never mind what they said about beckham fragrances are mend for teenagers or they are unsure how to pick up good colognes. I'm no football freak either that beckham is my soccer idol nor his wife being a british top singer 'then' awhile ago. I collect frag of multi brands, so i got to be the first people to teat out huge variety of perfumes so i can recommends to people. For me beckham is decent brands, some gets very nice like the instinct collections, i now own several including the signature's, can't wait to smell the latest summer one.

A close guy friend of mine got this cologne and it smells so amazing! I really can not get enough of it. It is warm and comforting slightly sweet and a tiny bit spicy. One of my all time favorites for men to wear.

smells nice and smoky, masculine, lavendery, the incense dry down is really good definitely get this the pinapple and the lavender really make it nice and fresh its great and cheap

Another blind purchase. I do not regret with this one because I don't have this type of scent in my collection. On my skin, the scent starts out aromatic and it very quickly turns into tarty sweet fruit. It reminds me a bit of I Am king by Sean John as far as the opening goes. It's quite clean and light. I can see why people say it's watery but it doesn't bother me. The scent stays nicely fresh and sweet with a hint of floral creaminess. Later, the scent turns into a smoky floral vanilla with a bit of aquatic quality. Again, it is not a typical scent for men due to its softness. A bit later, the scent becomes a bit plasticy, and I am not sure what causes it to be that way. Overall, the scent is considered romantic. It's so soft that it could have been unisex scent. The projection is decent and the price is great.

I bought this scent as I really liked the original signature. I do like this one but I would say the original is better on scent and projection, both have similar longevity. This is an 'odd' scent as it starts off as very intense and strong on the first few sprays. Then after a few minutes it becomes a fruity and almost subtle scent. This scent could very easily be classed as unisex. If I smelt it on a female I wouldn't think 'WTF, she is wearing blokes spray'. I would recommend the original over this one, but if you buy it I doubt you'll be disappointed. Results: Scent: 7/10 Sillage: 7/10 Longevity: 6.5/10

Now let me start with this,despite the hype, this is nothing like creed aventus, not close to a clone, a good clone is lomani silver spirit XS. This is fresh citrus and that's it. Now a powerful scent, just fresh. Good in summer daytime. I like it more than the cheaper backhams wich are balsamic and spicy.

This is intended to be a masculine scent? Really? It smells flowery, somewhat sweet, fey and light on me, like an especially transparent Jo Malone fragrance. Don't get me wrong: it's not a bad smell, but I think it would make a far more appropriate woman's scent than a man's. To be honest, I'm thinking that it's a good teenage girl's first perfume. It's not for me at all. (I'm a rugby player but I shall forbear making the usual taunting rugby vs. soccer comments regarding anything with a soccer player's name upon it.)

When I went to visit my boyfriend recently, one of the first things I noticed on his bedside table was a new bottle of Signature Story for Him. His regular gym scent used to be Signature for Him and once that was gone, (since I expressed my dislike of it), I assumed that there would be no more Beckham fragrances in his collection. I was not familiar with this fragrance, and in some ways I was intrigued. Now since testing it, I can sort of see why he bought it as a replacement for the original Signature for Him. Signature Story for Him is a pleasantly masculine and fresh scent, which is thankfully rather soft in terms of sillage. It's not complex, however it smells interesting with sour pineapple complimenting earthy and herbaceous notes like lavender and patchouli. Lavender smells fabulous on my boyfriend's skin, so this fragrance works wonders. He's a relatively buff kind of a guy, so having a gym scent that can withstand strenuous workouts while keeping him smelling 'fresh' is a must. I like this fragrance for that reason, but I must admit that I suggest he wears other fragrances if we are planning to cuddle at home or go out to dinner. Supposedly there's incense in this composition. I don't smell it, but I do detect a good dose of patchouli, lavender and rosemary. The scent pyramid may look unique, but trust me, this is a very likable and universally pleasing scent. I wouldn't go so far to say generic, but it does fit into that 'celebuscent' category. Due to Signature Story for Him's freshness, I would recommend this fragrance for both Autumn and Spring. It's a nice 'pick me up' in the morning, and wears well casually, however it's nothing that spectacular. It's still quite expensive in stores, but can be found online rather cheaply. I personally still prefer Intense Instinct and Intimately Beckham for Men, however I am willing to accept this new addition to my boyfriend's perfume collection, and in time I hope to become accustomed to it.

After all the great reviews I've heard about this I decided to get it today, as I was looking for something nice that I could get away with in work. And all i can say is i'm so very disappointed. This to me smells so cheap, it smells like a can of lynx deodorant (or Axe if youre american) which you can buy for like £2.00. There is absolutely no sillage, its weak, smells like it is serverely watered down and it is just uninspiring like so many of those other sporty teenage fragrances that you'd smell on a 19 year old guy trying to pick up a girl in a nightclub. It's not sophisticated, or sexy and I'm so disappointed because the original Signature fragrance is amazing! So glad I got this on sale, as I would have been mega pissed if I had have forked out £25 on a bottle.

I tested this version of Signature yesterday. It's not bad AT ALL. the reviews i saw here made me dislike the perfume and made me want to smell it too. its very soft, a very romantic smell. i give it 2 thumbs up. i don't know how to describe perfumes well, but i loved it. i kept smelling into my arm. like the original Signature, it has feminine qualities, the patchouli i suppose, but wearing it, you feel very manly, brave and confident.

I must agree with "Wakemeupalready." Nice fragrance... for about 15-20 minutes, and then it begins to come off as watered down. It smells like it should have been stronger. I love the warm, sweet-woodsy invitation it has... but it's very temporary. The dry-down, would be a dry-down you'd expect hours later... maybe even towards the end of the day. I think I'll stick with the original signature.

Got it today and I am very very satisfied.Im a bit of a smell addict, my wife says Im crazy I always take a lot of time choosing but I fell for this one direct.Its sweet , a bit flowers but still masculine.And know after 2 hours it still stays on whitout a problem.The price was 255 swedish konor thats about 25 euro for 30ml, thats really nice.Buy it !!!!

I got to try this today at Macys and i LOVE it! The womans is nice but this one! Its soooo nice! Even my mother loved it! I definately need to get me a bottle soon! 100times better then the original signature for men! This one actually smells different from everything else! The original had been done so many times before! Nice job Becks!

Love this fragrance. I've been using it a few years ago and I just had to buy it for my boyfriend. Love the spiciness and mixture of sweetness, woods and herbs. But have to say, that it smelled more manly on me, than it now smells on my boyfriend :-D Don't know how is that possible

This smells delicious on my husband. Did they stop making it? The price on Ebay and Amazon is CRAZY!! I want to get more but $80 a bottle is over my limit!
