Cool Water Intense for Her

I recently purchase this at a chemist that had this on special and I will say that I really like this version of Cool Water. It is more sweeter than the original and also it has a nice citrus note which I do like in perfumes.the longevity of this fragrance is moderate so you do not have to spray this every five minutes and it will last you for a few hours. I am not a huge fan of the first Cool Water but I find the intense version to be better than the original so if you don’t really like the first Cool water still give this a try because it is a very nicely made fragrance.

green mandarin is very nice in the opening, very fresh and a bit tart but it's wrapped in the sweetness of the other notes. I don't know what mangosteen smells like in real life but here it's like a deep, soft sweet, purple-ish smelling fruit. The florals are 'exotic' I guess but not a bright, hot summer day exotic. more of a warm, summer breeze feel, I can see the setting sun turning the water orange wearing this. very pretty and the woods are noticeable they seem to balance out the sweetness.

Got this for a while now and just took a look at the notes and I’m rather flabbergasted. Being an Asian born, I’m way too familiar with mangosteen to the point of hating it, but I love this perfume and don’t notice and mangosteen vibe from it at all. Love it except for scoring low on longevity and silage for me at least. It stayed around after spraying at an elbow radius for about an hour max. I can only wish they make a stronger version of this, super intense, perhaps. lol

I smelled this on a friend and its very bright and delicious. Coming from the Equator where mangosteen is a seasonal fruit, I can honestly tell you that this perfume has that fresh mangosteen aroma. Its sweet and light. Mixed with the floral notes, its almost like lychee but not quite there yet. The perfume is very fun and young. True, I don't get that original Cool Water aquatic note in this. I like this one.

This is so lovely on a humid summer day, it’s musky yet clean somehow. I wear it when I miss traveling and sneaking bags of mangosteens into the hotel to eat over the sink haha

Summer test, skin, humid day Ooh it’s a fruity, not what I expected on picking it up. It’s a rounded fruit layer with a woody sort of base. This is NOT a more intense version of Cool Water. It’s got rounded edges, it’s a deep fruity with maybe at a push; the mid or dry down of Cool Water. It’s not a juicy fruity, the woods are not dry, I suppose there is an oceanic but not the usual sort ... kinda layer in there.. I have recently smelled dkny stories which is more sweet, but this is abuot the same thickness. Cool water intense is not a fluffy fruity, it’s different, i don’t know mangosteen, but tropical would about cover the fruit aspect. With Dewey woods underneath. EDIT : I don’t know that I’m liking the warm fruit with the woods aspect, it’s a smidge acidic on me. This might be better for me in cooler months, or, not in elbow crease EDIT 2: the dry down is much better but I'm at 5 hours now, so waiting through a top and middle that I can take it or leave it is pointless, the dry down is cool water, it non aquatic, with a tropical and woods layer. Decent sillage the whole time, decent longevity, I sprayed around 2.30pm it's now 7.30pm and still going

This is a really nice summer fragrance. Before I read the notes, I thought it was a citrus-tropical blend but I couldn't quite put my finger on it, because the citrus is not super tart or super sour, and the tropical fruit was also not something that I could name. Then I came to check the notes and saw that this contains "mangosteen", which is something I never smelled or tasted, so the tropical part is probably that. Otherwise, this is very pleasant, inoffensive, I have a hard time imagining it turning cloying even in hot temperatures. Sillage is not huge, but it can be smelled (for example, on my skin it's stronger than most of Guerlain's Allegorias). On the other hand, I feel the original Cool Water for her is much more unique. The acquatic - calone combination in that one is something that has ruled over the last decades and I still feel that it's in a league of its own when it comes to light summer fragrances. This one is more non descript instead. I think I would have to smell it several times in order to recognize it for what it is, whereas the original Cool Water is really striking.

I got an Eau De Parfum, which I actually think is closer to a Unisex type of fragrance in spring, but gets sweet and more Female in the summer sun. Green citrus top note has a sharper entry. The dry down that mellows on my particular skin mantle is soft, slightly sweet, slightly floral, slightly musky, and slightly oceanic. Gentle. Subtle. Elegant. It's almost a non-scent, that people notice after they hug me. It's inoffensive, and I've received compliments from men and women alike. ****A spritz on paper, fabric or hair will last longer and more citrusy than a spritz on the skin (or rather my skin).

Nice fragrance. Not groundbreaking, but it is pleasant and relaxing. It’s inoffensive and feminine. It smells like a fresh and sweet shampoo. Good for casual summer days. A safe blind buy, in my opinion. Good for all ages. Try it if you want to feel clean and romantic. P. S: reminds me of Taylor by Taylor Swift

Got a sample of this with a recent purchase. This doesn‘t smell like Cool Water at all, but like a super sweet and fruity virgin cocktail. I don‘t know how exactly mangosteen smells, because I live in Germany where this fruit can only be found in an overpriced and underripe version. If you find it at all. So I can just say that CW Intense smells like a mix of various tropical yellow fruit and red berries to me, with a hint of vanilla in the background. And it’s a little shampoo-ish. This reminds me very much of the annual Escada summer releases and basically anything fruity and sweet that I loved as a teen in the early/mid 2000s. I‘d even say it smells slightly dated and would have fit perfectly into that time period. It‘s also kind of like a body spray in a way, it starts out very loud and intense, but dies down quickly. Nowadays I would use something like this as a hand soap or shower gel, but I prefer my fruity perfumes to have a little twist that CWI doesn‘t have. If you crave the fruitiest of of fruit salad fragrances and a flashback to circa 2003, try this. Otherwise you can probably live without it.

It’s pleasant. Nice fruity floral, easy to wear. It’s sweeter than I prefer. But no note throws me off. I will likely layer with another perfume that will cut through the sweetness to make it more elegant and complex. But it is still pretty by itself.

Ouffff ! Very different from the original, very fruity. there is a strange metallic smell on my skin, really not for me. This was a "not very successful" blind buy. oh well, will have to sell or swap. Do not recommend if you are looking for a more intense version of the original, that's not it.

It's fine on my wrist. On my neck, I don't like it at all. It reminds me of Light Blue for women, a perfume I really don't like.

Cool Water Intense for Her is a very bright, sporty, and sweet fragrance that is a tad creamy. It actually reminds me of Paris Hilton Platinum Rush and Hollister Wave for Her.All three have a very fresh, sweet, and sporty lifespan but each with different edges. The magnolia and lily notes in Platinum Rush push a aldehydic green-apple-citrus body wash freshness while the Cool Water Intense floral heart-notes drive a sweet yet delicate feel. Platinum Rush is much more masculine of the two with a bit of harshness I just find unattractive and aggravating almost immediately upon spraying. This harshness I can describe as "cold" to me whereas Cool Water Intense is very bright, almost bursting with sunny salicylates which makes it warmer and more amicable than Platinum Rush. The top and heart notes display the sunny warmth along with a juicy, tart fruitiness. About 3 hours in, CW Intense loses a lot of it's initially sweetness and it does have a rather masculine drydown with a lot more musk and dry woods and something slightly metallic (possibly hinted at with the metallic cap?). I wouldn't say CW Intense is unisex as it is just a rather sweeter, sporty fragrance for women. It's like if Adidas or Puma got serious about making fragrances with decent longevity... This is the type of smell I'd expect from "Under Amour for Women." Ha! ;-) But a man shouldn't worry if he can pull it off as CW Intense is fresh, sporty in general.

Refreshing more than anything else, but also sweet, floral, slightly fruity and woody. Cool Water Intense opens with tart yet juicy sweetness, almost like sugar poured over tart fruits or berries. Soon smoky wood notes snuggle close to skin, grounding the perfume very nicely. More distinguishable than anything else are floral notes, also fresh and light. I get some tiare and frangipani whiffs, but they are not intense or heady; there is also that general flower shop vibe. Three hours later I get nicely balanced sweet and tart fruitiness and wood notes with some citrus mixed in (or could be florals). Wear time up to six hours with light sillage (not really skin scent, but close to that). Summer daytime appropriate and very refreshing, then again something to wear, enjoy and forget. Inoffensive and nice, but not really memorable.

When my sister was a teenager she got a perfume bottle that came free with a girly magazine. She used to spray it a lot. It smelled just like Cool Water Intense. Fruity and pink. I can confirm that CWI is better because it's got a real drydown, which is fruity, floral and musky (in clean way of course). Much too sweet for anyone over the age of 16. And a very strange move by Davidoff considering that both Calyx and Beyond Paradise are still in production.

Very soft, sweet, and comforting, this fragrance gives an all-day sillage that feels friendly, inviting, and genuinely enjoyable to wear. It’s simple in the best way: fresh yet creamy, like a summer breeze with a touch of tropical sweetness. Surprisingly, it’s become one of my favorites. I usually fall for heavy, bold perfumes, but this one is such a lovely exception, light, feminine, and effortlessly beautiful.

Sweet, lightweight, airy, creamy, fresh with wood base. It smells white flower-y. There is something unfamiliar for me, perhaps it's mangosteen. It's as cream with perfumery twist. Can be as summer everyday perfume. It can fit walking next to sea and wearing white dress. For me it actually reminds some vibe from 2010s, some classic.

So juicy, fruity, delicious. I guess, I should try tropical fragrances more because I loved this one and it made me want to explore more about this type of perfumes. edit: first spray was amazing but after a while, it turned into a little synthetic and metallic which I didn't like much.

This is underrated. I love this so much. It's fruity and perfect for summer. My nose is a little sensitive to overwhelming perfumes, but this one is a very nice fruity fragrance. I usually hate fruity fragrances, but this one is an exception.

I love the OG Cool water so couldn't wait to try this. Its nice, very sweet in the opening and then has a very citrus fresh shower gel kind of smell. I personally think this would smell great in the winter
