That’s not a deal — that’s daylight robbery, but I’m the thief and Davidoff’s just too polite to say anything. The Notes? Mandarin, coconut nectar (which I’m convinced is just coconut water trying to sound fancy), and amber. But don’t expect a tropical fruit salad or a beachy cocktail — this thing is blended so smoothly that none of the notes jump out and scream their name. Instead, they all melt together into something richer and more mysterious. It’s not about picking out the ingredients — it’s about the overall vibe: clean, warm, and effortlessly put-together. I was bracing myself for a tropical disaster — didn’t want to smell like a sticky cocktail named Coco Loco at a resort full of middle-aged tourists and regret. Thankfully, this is not that. This is Cool Water's grown-up cousin who drinks espresso, wears linen shirts correctly, and probably knows how to sail. How it smells: Let’s be clear, it smells nothing like the original Cool Water. Imagine diving into an ocean where the water is deeper, darker, and warmer, with a sense of mystery beneath the surface. It opens fresh, sure, but then it pulls a suave little switcheroo and turns warm, smooth, and borderline elegant. Not too loud, but strong enough to make someone lean in and ask what you’re wearing. It reminds me of D&G K and Rochas L’Homme, but it’s better — cooler, smoother, and more refined. Performance: Four sprays. That’s it. Anymore and you’re rolling into nuclear territory. I did four sprays in the evening — still there in the morning like a clingy ex, but the good kind. Longevity is surprisingly great for something that costs less than dinner and makes you smell like you own property in the Mediterranean. When to wear: Summer soirée? Absolutely. Casual luncheon? Perfect. Trip to Walmart? Listen... this scent has too much class to be shopping for off-brand cereal in pajama pants. It deserves a pressed shirt and at least one button undone. Final verdict: A refined, sneaky-fresh, warm fragrance that smells way more expensive than it is. Expertly blended, versatile, and just mysterious enough to make people wonder if you're better traveled than you actually are. Buy it cheap, wear it like it cost $200.

I think, some fragrances get respect because of the name on the bottle. Others earn it purely from the scent itself. For me, Davidoff Cool Water Intense is one of those perfumes that deserves way more appreciation than it gets. Every time I wear it, I genuinely feel like I’m wearing something much more expensive and sophisticated. The scent has this smooth, rich freshness that smells clean, masculine, and even modern without trying too hard. The blending of fresh mandarin, amber and ambroxen mixed with a touch of creamy green coconut gives it a luxurious vibe that reminds me of high-end designer releases. What surprises me most is how underrated it is in the fragrance community. A lot of people ignore it because of the brand name or because of the availability. But if this exact same juice was bottled by or with a premium presentation and higher price tag, people would probably call it “masterpiece” or “luxury all weather perfection.” That’s the funny thing about fragrances sometimes people judge the scent by their imagination or already set up memory or by depending on the note break down or depending on reviewers not trying it by themselves. I'm confused that those who give negative review whether they tried it or not. However, performance-wise it’s also fantastic for the price even in present times. You will get strong longevity, noticeable projection, and a scent DNA that feels addictive without becoming too loud or annoying. In today’s market where many expensive fragrances feel watered down or repetitive, this one honestly gives unbelievable value. I also feel this is one of those perfumes people will truly appreciate only after it gets discontinued. Right now many overlook it because it’s affordable and accessible. But once it disappears, people will suddenly start calling it a hidden gem and regret not buying this. To me, Davidoff Cool Water Intense proves that quality is not always about luxury branding or hype. Sometimes an amazing fragrance is sitting right in front of people they just don’t realize it until it get discontinued. Just buy a bottle and let it macerate for 2 month and thank me later.

N.U.C.L.E.A.R.. I just wanted to be clear with that.. Out of all of the cool water flankers that I own I love this one the most! This was a blind buy for me and when I bought this I could only find a 40 ml bottle so I picked up two of them. The price was right as each bottle was $17 bucks. I’ll be honest I wasn’t expecting very much, but this was a beautiful surprise. This smells nothing like the original cool water, and it’s a completely different take. The pyramid says there is only 3 ingredients, I’m not sure how accurate that is but to my nose there isn’t much going on here, which is great, it’s not overly convoluted. The opening is basically a sweet orange, most likely from the honey portion, and normally I hate scents with coconut, but it’s more of a creaminess. This is not an orange peel type of scent. To my nose this is a sweet aromatic scent that just made me feel really happy while wearing it. The performance on my skin is decent too. I get around 5-7 hours on my skin, but this is most likely because it’s summer now, and I haven’t had a chance to wear this on the colder days. My girlfriend keeps sniffing my shirt every time we kiss. and she is the first one to tell me if she likes what I’m wearing. This is a solid 8/10 and if you find this anywhere pick this one up immediately. I’d also like to add that this smells “Nothing” like Abercrombie and Fitch. I really wish people didn’t upvote such preposterous mentions of what colognes might smell like on here. You’re potentially setting others up for disappointment, especially if it’s completely different. I have many friends who have this and Abercrombie and Fitch Feirce and none of us can understand the comparisons. This is its own beautiful thing.

Cool Water turns tropical, this Intense flanker does not really resemble the EDT variant that much, but that aftershave/shaving cream sensation is still there. This will garner attention and compliments, at a really cheap price too. The scent itself starts off with a bright, almost mouth-watering citric sensation. But still, the main star of the show is the coconut accord which is perceived as creamy, but not in a sunscreeny way that is common with coconut fragrances. This creamy, sweet (don’t think gourmand though, this is far from it) sensation lasts until the end. Towards the dry down, there is some warmth that comes from Ambroxan (which also helps with the performance and compliment factor), but I would not say that it is resinous or balsamic by any means. I personally do not understand some of the reviews, I feel like this scent profile definitely suits warmer days of the year and do not think this will be perceived as cloying in any situation, apart from maybe heat waves in enclosed spaces. In terms of versatility, I feel like this scent can be both a casual and smart-casual one. In formal occasions and in colder months of the year though, there are definitely better alternatives. Performance on this is phenomenal. Strong projection within the first few hours, and as it dries down a bit it creates a nice skin-close bubble. Longevity is decent, for this scent profile it will satisfy. Would highly recommend this as a warm-weather daily driver, you will get looks and compliments wearing this to the gym, office, outings and even occasions like concerts.

I’ve changed my mind about this fragrance so radically that I decided to delete my previous review. The very first time I tried it, the opening felt downright nauseating, but it eventually gave way to nuances that, I thought, had something to say after all. The second time around, I found it to be a decent fragrance right from the start, with something elusive that slowly began to win me over. On the third wear, it convinced me to buy the 125 ml bottle. I genuinely grew to love it, and I can no longer imagine being without it on my perfume shelf. I find Cool Water Intense suitable for all seasons, all ages, and almost any situation. It’s an ambery coconut scent — not particularly realistic, but with a charm of its own that wraps around you and enchants you without ever letting go. The citrus note is noticeable only briefly in the opening. The “freshness” some people mention is something I personally don’t get at all, but I don’t miss it either, so it works for me as it is. As for longevity, it remains a mystery to me. Most of the time I get around 4–5 hours, with good projection during the first two. Other times (thankfully rare), it feels weaker right from the start and lasts barely more than two hours. And then there are days when it stays in my scent bubble for over 12 hours (as happened today). I don’t experience this level of unpredictability with any other fragrance, and I have no idea what causes it. In short: it’s incredibly versatile, creamy, comforting, delicious — and costs far less than what it’s truly worth. I love it.

I blind bought this as Im hunting for the perfect coconut scent for me to wear this summer. I only bought a small bottle due to the price which I regret , I should have bought a bigger. I can't believe such a simple scent pyramid can smell so good. This in my opinion is truly a hidden gem. First of all, this scent has nothing to do with the classic cool water blue smell ,this is its own thing. A very pleasant round warm smell. Very smooth discreet tropical-ish scent with a tiny tiny bit of coconut that's barely there. The main note has to be the orange and amber and as I wrote the coconut is barely noticeable but it's there. This is an awesome easygoing scent. Dumb reach qualified on summer days. So far this has to be one of my favourite tropical scents out of the ones I have at the moment. I miss a bit more of the coconut and or vanilla and it would have been perfect. In conclusion a great hidden gem by Davidoff, I wish there were something similar with more coconut and or vanilla or that this scent was a bit cheaper than it is. I also bought both versions of the CK eternity coconut scents but none of them is as good as this CWI is, not even close. They're too " loud" .

This is the scent that I thought something like the jpg le beaus would be like, they’re similar, but go in 2 separate directions from the base coconut smell in the mid. Cool water intense is this really nice amber/amberwoody vibe to it underneath everything, it gives this scent the sweet tropical coconut citrus smell, but adds depth to it, as if you were wearing some coconut lotion of some kind, but you’re walking inside through the luxury beach resort you’re at with you catch whiffs of the surrounding woods and bushes, you smell the material of the floor a bit, some slight other calming fragance in air, and you just want to stop there and really smell this combination of things, that is the picture I get personally lol Around 2-3 hours later something changes, the coconut and sweetness dial back, and you’re just left with this gorgeous and simple woody/amber base that just smells so good in the warm air. Honestly you can wear this whenever, but it is lowkey really good performance, it has good longevity, sillage is moderate, not too loud. Now Talk about synthetic . So is that bad because of its synthetic properties?? Cheap, loud, and still beautiful. Synthetic doesn’t mean bad. What’s not to love ? Chrome by Azzaro? Synthetic as hell. Still, it smells amazing. Maybe it’s just not your vibe — and that’s fine. This Cool Water flanker? No screechy sweetness, no nonsense. A clean, wearable scent that won’t offend. Performance even outshines the original. Variety is the spice of life, and this one checks all the boxes and then some. Cheap, synthetic, effective — and it hit the spot for me. Check it out.

Love at first snif. Sprayed it on my wrist to test it during the day. Very fresh and strong combination of green mandarin and amber, which means it is perfect for men: its sweetness must be found through a solid bitter base. Absolutely amazing. The coconut note did come a bit later on and had a very harmonic blend with the other two. Creamy bitter sweet freshness. In a world of bergamot, patchouli and oceanic notes, I firmly believe you're gonna stand out with this fragrance. As far as performance goes, you can expect it to smell as when it was applied for the first 2 to 3 hours. After 6 hours, I had to take a relaxing shower, and when I got out it was still on my wrist. For me that's crazy. 9 hours and a shower later, I still smell it. One of my best purchases. Simplicity sometimes is the way. Update: after a month of hot greek summer, I realized it cannot stand high heat for too long, which disappointed me a bit. Doesn't change my opinion but it's something you should know.

I seriously hate the people who just smell the original from a line of fragrance and immediately say that the rest of the line sucks because the original sucks. This applies not just to the Cool Water line of fragrances, but the Fahrenheit line as well. I mean, the original Cool Water is really outdated, but this completely flips the concept on it's head and turns it into a solid, more manly cheap summer fragrance. It starts off with a deep, earthy mandarin note with a bit of florals and coconut, before transitioning into this manly, ambery sweet scent that lasts for the rest of the duration of the fragrance. Put justice on the Cool Water Intense name because it deserves better than to just be a flanker of Cool Water EDT. 8.4/10 (Side note: If you think it's mid on first smell, buy a bottle and let it macerate, just trust me.)

I buy this gem on decant 10ml, and forgot it almost a year. It fall on my shoe box when i wear my shoes. And I just put it under the bed, almost a year after I checked the time of purchase. The first time I found it, I had forgotten what this perfume was called, so I was just curious and sprayed it once on my neck. OMG, I screamed whose is this?? What is the name?? How can there be perfume this fragrant?? It turns out that the warm atmosphere in the shoe box has turned this gem into a very fragrant monster. That morning I sprayed it 3 times on my clothes and it smelled great until the afternoon. I just want to share my wonderful experience and I don't know how to rate it, maybe there are many more fragrant and expensive, but for me this smells really good. I give it 9/10. This is a pretty good buy! I don’t smell much coconut which may be a good thing since a lot of the bad reviews I’ve seen were about the coconut smelling “synthetic”. It’s fresh but more sweet and warm. When I first sprayed it was a pretty good warm citrus smell. After that it goes into a smooth amber smell. The amber comes across very sweet and a bit spicy(which I enjoy a lot). Because of the warm amber I feel like this could be a signature scent. Seems very easy to wear all year round. I get 6+ hours easily. And 4-5 sprays can easily fill a room. Lower the sprays in high heat, I can see this becoming cloying. Will be one of my all season mains because I love the spice I’m picking up in the amber. Scent 9/10 Price 8/10 Projection 9/10 Longevity 9/10 Overall 8.75/10

I think I can rock this year round. Love it. This fragrance is fire because its kinda like a hit song on the radio. It may not be your favorite of all time but it's a JAM! Everybody likes it, it's fly, it's dope. I initially bought it because I needed a fragrance for work that would gel with the sunscreen I use and this is perfect. I work outside and this summer has been devastating but this is perfect and will do the job. It's strong enough to wear in the winter also though I suppose. Guess I'll see. No complaints. Others may say it's super synthetic... And it is, but I don't care. It's not screechy and it doesn't smell like a mess of notes. It smells like it's supposed to be on human skin unlike some other super synthetic fragrances. (DUA 👀)

As the weather heats up in my region, I add my Cool Waters (edt, edp, parf) into my daily driver rotation of frags. Out of the three, this one performs the best for me for projection, sillage, and longevity. 4 sprays will easily last me 10+ hours, and I am pretty sure it is close to a room filler. When I'm out running errands, ppl across the aisle have asked me what I'm wearing, so I know it leaves a strong sillage trail. This isn't anything groundbreaking and it doesn't really resemble the original, but for $25 (2.5 oz), I think it is an absolute great affordable fragrance. Keep in mind, when I say great, I am saying in comparison to other frags at this price point. It smells good, and performs way above its price point!

These reviews are getting worse and worse: - one dude "bought a 100ml bottle" obviously there is no 100ml only 40, 75, 125ml - one dude wants, ironically "more coconut" - more people saying is similar to Eros or to Dylan Blue in 90% proportion - no, it's not! It is a well blended, well made, better than all arab stenches from past years... fresh and solid, lasting cheapie! It smells decent and nobody will say anything bad. 6/10 Would give any Lataffa, Hanalabanala, Abudullahana, clones... ALL DAY CLASS! Lasts decently 4-10hrs and projects for 2-3 hours really good. Stop this BS, this is a great fragrance for the price and wipes the floor with clones and others!

This fragrance is a weird one for me, it's one of those fragrances I have hidden behind my other fragrance collection but when the day comes that I do use it I can't help but to always say it smells amazing. The concoction of notes in there makes this one hell of a great smelling fragrance. The sweetness in the coconut and amber and the freshness and citrusy-ness in the green mandarin is what I really like and look for in fragrances. This one always comes back to remind me how much I really love it and once it finishes I am for sure going for another bottle! Longevity I would say is a good 5-6+ hours. Sillage is moderate.

Strong punch of amber in the opening! Scent profile is creamy, somewhat sweet and tropical. I can smell oranges as well...the coconut is very faint, definitely takes a backseat to the amber. To my nose, it's similar to Drakkar Intense. Except, Drakkar Intense is more fougere woody....and Cool Water Intense is more tropical. Both of them share that sweet, creaminess quality. Projection and longevity is awesome. Great value for the low cost. I'd say the 40ml bottle is a safe blind buy because of how inexpensive it is. I snagged it for $17 CAD. Give it a shot...you might be pleasantly surprised!

It opens as a mandarin peel, but in a couple of minutes it transitions to a creamy blue frag, somewhat sweet and very "fat", and stays pretty linear after that. It's less fresh and sparkly than other blues, more oriented for the nighttime than the day. Doesn't really smell like a gym scent 5 to 6 sprays grant you an all-night performance and a medium to strong projection, but with just a couple you can wear it in the office without choking your colleagues. It's quite addicting, i can't stop smelling myself whenever i wear it. It's also not that common so it can be used as a signature frag!

Snobs will hate it, but the average person will love it. Ceanly, citrusy, and ambery. Good performance for a "freshie" too. Has some depth to it with the coconut accord. This could easily be a signature scent. So easy to like. Definitely has elements of the OG Cool Water, but also has its own thing going for it. Probably the best of the line. And again, that performance is really impressive, especially compared to the others in the line. I get about 2-3 hours of solid projection and 8 hours of longevity. It's incredibly casual and just such a joy to wear.

I had been curious about this one for quite some time. I just came across a small bottle at Burlington for $15 so I pulled the trigger! I am BLOWN AWAY! I buy a new fragrance roughly once a week, and this is the BEST I have smelled so far this year! This WILL BE my signature evening fragrance this summer! I can absolutely smell the DNA of the original Cool Water in the background. Just a suggestion of it. But this is darker, sweeter, deeper. Incredibly gorgeous, stunningly sexy for a summer night! Will be buying a 4.2oz bottle soon.

One of my favourite summer scents. Beautiful and creamy citrus with a hint of coconut in the background. My mouth literally starts to water when I smell it. Fantastic in its simplicity, and criminally underrated (which on the other hand is a good thing, because it’s crazy cheap). I tried many summer fragrances in the 100-150$ range and this one is in my top 3. Also on my skin - really similar to Laura Biagiotti Roma Uomo, so if you love that scent but want something with a better performance - don’t hesitate. Crazy value for money.

Blind buy safe in my opinion. Fresh, warm, ambery, coconutty and in my opinion everything summer is supposed to be about. Starts off with a strong dose of amber and some fresh spiciness and settles more into a coconutty tropical smell with a bit of maturity to it. Smells inoffensive and not too strong so don't hold back and spray away. And let's not forget the insanely low price point - If you don't have any fragrances for summer or any in general just get this - safe blind buy for an amazing fragrance.

I wear this to work, I easily get nose blind by it as it is applied. I apply 3 sprays on my neck and 2 on my clothes. Now after 14 hours , laying in my bed .. I can still smell it on my neck when I turn my face towards my shoulders. I wasn't really impressed by its smell in the beginning... But now I just want to get any reason to spray it. Specially when I just get whiffs of the coconut while working , 10-15 mins after applying it till the night when I go to sleep, it just smells great throughout.

Compliments: Absolute magnet!!! Super mass appealing, sweet and sexy. Defiantly for the younger crowd but oh boy this has gotten me so many compliments. For the price as well you cant go wrong. Uniqueness: There are a few fragrances on the market similar to this one but one thing this fragrance beats them at every time is the price, longevity, sillage. Bottle design: Your standard Davidoff fragrance bottle but I must say it looks more elegant in dark blue. Overall: 9/10

What is there to hate? Maybe the name because it appears to be misleading? Ok I can get that but the juice is good. Long lasting performer. It is sweet but not Ultra Male sweet. I get an orange peel and cream vibe which stays there for the duration - then there is an amber wood base that is pleasant in the dry down. Had this been from some niche house or named something different, you all would be raving about this. Half of the reviews here don’t even make sense.

Absolute steal of a perfume. I got a 40mL bottle for $22 CAD and thought it was alright when I initially sprayed it on myself. I showered after 2 hours of walking in the sun and it was still there. I sprayed it on someone else once, and came back to his room entirely smelling like this. Absolute nuclear, designer-worthy fragrance for basically nothing. To me it is very similar to Givenchy Gentleman Boisee, with 10x the performance and less than half the price.

"Annick Menardo" never fails to surprise! Sweet and light coconut with creamy sharp floral base. Outstanding! You have to spray on someone else to know how wonderful you smell while wearing this,because most of the time you stay noseblind. Very balanced performance. 3 to 5 spray on clothes and you smell like a masculine floral gentleman. All season and all occasions. Not blind buy worthy though..... May seem cloying and too much synthetic to some folks.

For 3 ingredients I never expected much. I thought the coconut would smell like coconut suntan lotion which I detest. However, there is no strong coconut. The three ingredients have been perfectly blended resulting in one of my favourite, long lasting, economic perfumes. This is my summer signature scent. The silage, projection and longevity are on par with a designer fragrance with a different label. How three ingredients smell so amazing is beyond me.

All year, all-season scent. A slight bit tropical, but that isn't so out of place when it is accompanied by as much warm amber as this contains. It just smells good. And it is quite inexpensive. Performs very, very well for something this affordably priced. It might remind you of some other stuff, but there is plenty of that all over fragworld. Everything reminds of something, new DNA's are few and far between...

This is the best Cool Water and Davidoff release. I think the 3 note breakdown is stupid because it doesn't tell you that this is a blue aquatic fragrance. I turned so many blind eyes to this just because I thought this was gonna be a boring tropical scent, like a cheaper Le Beau. But this is a really modern masculine, salty, powdery marine shower gel type fragrance that kicks some serious ass for the price.

What do you want, made by Annick Menardo, can't miss. Luckily I have a spare bottle.

After wearing it several times it seems that this fragrance solved the issues I've had with the original Cool Water. Longevity and silage exceeded my expectations by far, specially compared to the ordinary Cool Water. It smells clean, fresh and elegant. It is safe to use in office, all day long outings and evening casual and semi-casual uses. I like it that much that I recommend it as a blind buy.

For what it is, and the price, this stuff is perty darn good. I just used the last few sprays I had from my first bottle and felt compelled to drop by to let others know that this is an easy peasy wear that anybody near you will love the smell of. I have just placed my order for a second bottle and can't wait to rock this on swim days. That's what this is perfect for; a day at the pool or beach.

One of if not the best 4 season budget friendly scent on the market that is not from the middle east. This and Missoni Pour Homme ring a bell. Not they they smell the same but can be worn any time of the year and any occasion. This has a tropical vibe with some sweetness. If JPG release this people would hand out $80 for it easily. Long lasting and uplifting fragrance that should be rated higher

This is a great value for money under 30€ fragrance. CW intense smells pleasantly familiar and therefore can be worn in any occasion in all seasons. Don't expect anything complicated, it is straight amber with some coconut. I can't recognise the mandarin, probably because of the high quality blend. Performance is above average in all aspects. Classic/10

I swear it smells different everytime I try it, presumably because it is entirely composed of aromachemicals. Right about now, it smells like the Pina Colada vibe that some reviewers mentioned, which I scoffed at a couple months ago. This is now pure tropical bubblegum, very sweet. I still love it. Fantastic performance. Unisex leaning masculine.

Starts off with a strong green mandarin smell and slowly turns into a tropical, sweet smell which is great. Lasts about 7 hours for me. I bought a 125ml one for 35$ which is an absolute steal for a perfect spring/summer fragrance that you can easily pull of in the autumn and winter too. 8.5/10, but 10/10 for the money.

Warm coconut cocktail which everybody would find pleasant (blind buy safe). For the price with discount (20$-35$) it’s really worth it. It lasts around 5-6 hours on my skin with only 4 sprays, yet i have dry skin that decreases the longevity on any perfume, so i predict it would last +2 hours more on you. Try it out.

an all around fragrance i could say, compared to the original Cool Water, this stuff is a beast mode It was my signature scent several years ago, back then i had no clue that fragrantica exists so i did not check what kind of notes this perfume has and top of that, this stuff is cheap for a designer fragrances

A wonderful scent with ok silage and longevity, but not really anything like the original cool water. I prefer this one. If you enjoy simple, tropical vibes, this one's a great choice. It's versatile enough to be worn year-round, but it really shines during warmer months and daytime outings.

It's that good then when I finished my 75ml, I kept the empty bottle and just brought a 150ml. Out all my fragrances, this gets me loads of compliments. It's not cheap smelling and as many have said, stick it in a Chanel bottle, and call it whatever you want intense, it would be No1 banger

Smells amazing, very creamy and kind of sweet. It smells nothing like original davidoff cool water and its a good thing. It long lasting, powerful stuff. The amber and coconut go together great. I blind bought it and i love it, so do people around me, has gotten me compliments.

Update from last review: whew... Since letting this bottle macerate or oxygenate it smells so so so so much better. First few sprays were so synthetic but still enjoyed it but now that synthetic mess is gone and it smells much better blended and very nice in the fall. I love it

different from the classic cool water. but it is an excellent perfume that smells of summer. little mandarin but lots of coconut and amber. ok yes ... it's on the wave of invictus legend ... but much sexier. incredible performance. excellent value for money. 9/10

A simple sexy spring / summer banger! Nothing to over complicated about this one. Simple note break down and it’s so refreshing and tropical.. It last for a long time on skin and clothing.. be careful on the trigger .. wouldn’t do more the 5 to 6 sprays max.

Good for the price. Not very "Fresh" opening more like zesty/sweet/light amber but still impressive. Mature into a better smell where the amber/vanilla/tropical oranges really kicks-in. Average perfmance, but is the best fragrance among the Cool Water line.

La apertura es un poco fea, luego se torna en un gel de ducha muy agradable. Las notas de coco no las he podido percibir. Pienso que es un perfume azul muy bueno. Solo los primeros minutos de la salida no son buenos. De ahi es una excelente fragancia. 8/10

in my experience with this fragrance longevity is about 7-8 hours with the first 2-3 hours of strong projection and as time passes it sits closer to the skin. smells like a nice shower gel fragrance with smooth amber notes and for the price is amazing!
