Cool Water Mera Collector

This fragrance is a white floral spin on the classic Cool Water for women launched by Davidoff almost twenty years ago. If I remember correctly it was launched around the time Aquaman 1 was released and I love that movie. It’s a collector edition inspired by Mera, even though there’s nothing marine about it, besides the shape/colour of the bottle. A rather sunny, warm, sweet blend of mandarin oranges with magnolia and tuberose. So, if you’re like me and love these notes, it’s impossible to dislike Cool Water Mera. It’s pretty straightforward a warm, sweet white floral with a citrusy opening. Super likeable, feminine, airy, fresh, watery with moderate longevity and softer sillage. As stated on the bottle, it’s an EDT concentration, so don’t expect to get a beast perfume. But for what I have paid for my 100 ml bottle, I know I bought it super cheap, I have no complaints. Lasts way better than some designers EDP’s released more recently and costs a fraction compared to what designers charge these days. I am aware that it is a collector edition perfume and might not be around five years later, when I am finally getting around writing my review, but if you are a white floral lover and you can find it online for a decent price, you should definitely get a bottle. It’s one of those cheap perfumes that smell expensive and will get you compliments! Ideal for spring and summer weather, for day to day use!

Yep, quite pretty, easy citrus freshie, I thought it had the vetiver of the intense one, but not as heavy or thick. It's almost a sweet citrus version of the original one. Not similar to the wave line, nor the rose wave - these have stylised waves on the boxes. $40 for 100ml Nzd

It's an OK citrus floral fragrance. One can still detect that original Cool Water DNA, but it's not as loud and only lingers in the background. The longevity is moderate, but you need to overspray otherwise it will become a skin scent pretty fast. The projection is very intimate, you can't smell it unless you get really close to the person wearing the fragrance. I recommend spraying on clothes and hair for it to last longer and better projection. It's not a bad fragrance but I feel like it's missing something, just one note that will make is stand out or at least be somewhat interesting.
