Cool Water Street Fighter Champion Summer Edition For Her

So I made the mistake of blind buying this perfume since I like the original cool water and it was a good price, and the notes seemed nice enough and seemed it’s a rare special edition item, but I absolutely hated it!!! It smells like a man perfume to me! it just doesn’t smell good at all and the scent gives me a headache, and bc I hate it so much ofc it lasts so long 🤣. don’t buy this!!

I tested Davidoff Cool Water Street Fighter for Her for the hell of it, knowing that it wouldn't be something that I would likely purchase. I didn't particularly enjoy the original Cool Water for Her as aquatic florals are not really my thing, so I didn't expect much from this flanker. Supposedly Cool Water Street Fighter is inspired by an anime, computer game character featured on Street Fighter 6, called Chun-Li. The listed notes include pear, mandarin orange and tuberose. I don't think these three notes are the complete scent pyramid, as I can also smell freesia, citrus accords and a salty sea water note. This flanker is different to the original Cool Water, and to my nose, is much more pleasant. I do like the addition of a creamy tuberose accord as this dense white floral note is rarely found in floral aquatics or oceanic scents. There are admittedly a lot of synthetics present in this fragrance's composition, yet for the price, it smells pleasant, lasts relatively well on the skin and has good projection. Not surprisingly, Cool Water Street Fighter for Her is a summer fragrance. On the skin it smells clean like slightly salty floral soap. Nothing super original or outstanding, but very pleasant on the skin nonetheless.

Tried it 2 days ago. It has the DNA of the classic one, but it is a bit distant and like a hint in it's core. It opens with fruty sweet accords and then comes the aquatic base of the original Cool water. I like this version a lot. In my collection I have Cool Water Wave 2018 made by Mr Kurkdjian, but to be fair I prefer this one better, tho they sound similar. I am looking forward to add this to my perfume collection.

I could swear this fragrance has the notes of the parfum version... The accords here match what i sampled as Cool Water Parfum. I thought the bottle said intense, i i was wrong... These are confusing Check out my review of the Parfum version, same shaped bottle, that one smells dead on what the accords are for this scent. In my opinion the packaging amd bottles are too similar. Easy to mix up

So... I normally don't comment on fragrances I couldn't smell yet... but WOW This sure is a brand collaboration I'd never thought I would see Don't get me wrong I'm still gonna try it... but... This smells like Davidoff Cool Water Intense for Her... less men's showergel and WAY LESS tart (greenapple... "mangosteen") fruity sweetness. Ends on a lovely mainstream tuberose note. Not bad at all... but too similar to the intense version. I only bought it for Chun Li + it was less than ~$20.
