Cool Water Woman Sea Rose Pacific Summer Edition

First of all, the bottles in the Cool Water Woman collection are so lovely- it's a message in a sea glass bottle feeling every time I pick them up. I've owned Cool Water Summer Seas for a year before picking up this little gem of a blind buy this week. How could I resist pear, tangerine, rose and woods? While the opening is supposed to be more fruits than rose, from the first spray and even sniffing the bottle, this is rose perfume first and foremost. The cast of characters, delicious but not too ripe Bosc pear, mixed with tangerine, well, I don't even smell tangerine note at all. I'd say pear sweetens the rose blend, and the woods are evident almost ten minutes in to the experience, which is a good, good thing. Though I noticed the fragrance notes unfold fast, they stay for a long time, with waves of sweet pear rose enveloping where needed, wherever I go. I honestly do recommend this for spring, summer and fall and whenever you want to try a very true tea rose fragrance that will astound you with its beauty. I could see this as a cozy fragrance on a cold winter day when we wish something could bloom outside, but in our hearts, Pacific Summer is already here. I also highly recommend this as a safe blind buy and an even safer gift fragrance. I cannot believe this would not be a favorite of all.

Pear and rose! Despite the Cool Water affiliation, this is not the least aquatic. Perfect for super hot days, will not offend anyone unless they are looking to be offended.... Pear and the mandarin orange give a fresh, fruity start, and then the rose adds femininity. The rose aspect is not sweet or heady, just fresh, and I understand the comparison to Chloe (though not a dupe). Reminds me more of the rose in Stella McCartney's Stella. I guess this scent never caught on because there is only one review from seven years ago. But if you run across this anywhere, it's worth a try.
