Midnight Whisper Man this is sexy,date night,and seductive I get the Bourbon.. the sandalwood is creamy and not pencil shavings it’s very smooth and the Rose is dancing in the background just enough.. the Amber gives it a nice powder.. the vanilla gives it just enough sweetness.. some musk to give it that push with a little bit of Oud in the background This is date night because it pushes enough to let your date smell it and want them to come closer .. this isn’t Netflix and chill because I don’t think you can make it through a movie lol..very unisex men and women can rock this the sad thing is it’s not listed on their website store anymore thankfully I got a bottle

This is amazing. Longevity is amazing, as well. Sillage, same thing. Wonderful bourbon and rose (unlike Baraonda, the boozy notes stays there). The drydown still has the boozines + amber. I do not detect the oud at all, nor the citrus (which is fine, because I'm not a big fan of citruses, lol). The sandalwood gives a creamy woodiness that accentuates the amber, but not leaving the rose behind. Love on first sniff. (People compare it to Baraonda. I'd say so-so. I smell this a little bit sweeter and more boozy and woody. They're around the price range, so 30ml from Baraonda to 50ml from Midnight W. )

I am very fortunate to have about 40ml left of this discontinued gem. It's fresh, gourmand booziness with a rose that leans masculine. The whole house amazes me with the quality, price, and attention to details. I haven't experienced one screetchy mess or imbalanced, poorly blended fragrance at all. Love this house and recommend all to get the sample pack!

Not many perfumes can call themselves a summer gourmand, but this one certainly can. It opens with a boozy citrus blast that is at once sweet and fresh. Smells like Walton Goggins has just passed out drunk in a bed of night blooming flowers at the White Lotus Hotel. Super devastated that I only have a teany tiny sample and not a full bottle.

I have a 10ml of the original formulation before it was changed then discontinued. Seduction in a bottle.

Sampling Day Three Fragrances Midnight Whisper, a cozy, spicy, woody, semi-floral, semi-sweet blend featuring notes of bourbon, rose, vanilla, and sandalwood. No spices are listed but I get a vaguely smoky peppery elemi vibe (the concept comes to mind from Perfumology Clutch), as the whole fragrance leans rather dark and sensual, a great option for cooler weather, a sort of unisex date/formal-type fragrance. It’s slightly but not especially sharp, floral, or sweet, so perhaps sandalwood is really at the center of the experience. I like that it’s blended to the point that not one aspect takes over too much. Moreover, it performs really well. Quite dense and rich throughout. Midnight Whisper is EDP concentration and priced at $235/135/35 for 100/50/10ml, consistent with the rest of the house’s pricing, sold (seemingly exclusively) through the house website. It’s not among my very favorites of the house so far but it’s a great fragrance and worth trying, further evidence of the skill of its makers, adding diversity to the line, and with a fairly unique result of a formula that I’ve definitely smelled vaguely before in other contexts (sweet, spicy, floral, semi-resinous). And as usual with the line, I love the 10ml option that they offer. 8 out of 10

Got the discovery set and this one stood out as probably the most unique. Somewhat similar to silent rescue in its approach—definitely some overlap in the soft powdery woody vibe. This one is stronger though. Didn’t like the powdery floral-woods mix at first.. vaguely reminded me of toy boy. Oud is very hidden so don’t expect an oud rose vibe. I get a lot of musks I smell on the other scents in from the house and the sweet vanilla & amber tones come out when it’s a skin scent for me. unisex but leans feminine with the powder-musky-rose vibe that leads the scent profile. Super strong stuff, as with most of Day three’s fragrances, so go easy on the sprayer. Midnight whisper is pleasant and elegant, more professional compared the the relaxed cozy & tropical vibes from their other fragrances. 3.5/5

DUA Liquid Mind Control 30ml can be had for $42 during sales maybe cheaper with the holidays right around the corner. Or Godfather from Alexandria if you are not a fan of DUA.

Opens with a subtle burst of fresh lime that’s quickly overtaken by a strong dose of rose. I’m not someone who particularly likes rose as it’s always overtly floral or too sweet, however the bourbon here helps level out those facets. The rose is very strong, deep and rich but it feels more like a rose liqueur when mixed with an equally strong woody bourbon. The heart of this is smooth, dark, and very rosy. As the scent fully dries down that rose starts to become that very sweet rose smell that I dislike, especially when mixed with powdery musks and warm amber. I think a rose lover would enjoy this, it’s just not for me. I don’t get a ton of oud here, but it’s noticeable, with a smoky woodiness to it. This scent isn’t for me but I can appreciate the blend here.

Got the discovery set by a Doctor coworker who as me is fragrance freak and it's been a wonderful surprise the quality and attention to details in this line of fragrances. "Midnight Whisper" beautiful and niche grade as others. "Downtown dejavu" it's a tropical modern Baccarat Rouge 540 DNA fragrance. Del mar it's a Caribbean by the beach ⛱️ blast. "Bani" it's a Dominican boozy mamá juanes tropical cocktail beauty. "Tacita de Café" it's a gourmand slightly sweet coffee essence. Overall a warm weather delight all of fragrances. My congratulations to Day Three You've nailed it. Bravo 👏🏽 👏🏽

It reminds me of Nina Ricci L'Extase Rose Absolue, a delicious vanillic rose scent. To me, it's long-lasting and feminine.

So boozy and good. The woody dry down is magical. Vibes like Baraonda but the booziness lasts through the dry down.

Can't wait to touch on the entire line, just ordered a discovery.
