Astronaut

This is an interesting niche fragrance for sure and unlike anything else I own. It’s not challenging but it is quite unique, not least because of the feijoa fruit. I’ve never even heard of this, let alone smelt it but there is a kind of tropical fruitiness, especially in the top notes that I presume comes from this note. It’s difficult to describe because it has many different elements that blend together. Apart from that fruity top note, it has a type of cool freshness, combined with dusty, earthy, green, woody, creamy, balsamic and herbal elements. It really is a juxtaposition of a fragrance but hangs together quite nicely. As it dries down, most of those elements fall way leaving a fairly routine sandalwood and labdanum base, which is smooth and warm although it retains a subtle sweetness. Overall, it’s quite uplifting. It needs to be tested as I’m sure each person will smell the various elements in different ways. I’m not sure the name Astronaut suits it really and I’m still working out when it would best be worn. My one doubt is the Feijoa fruit note. I’m not sure it fits as coherently as the other notes. Whilst they all blend together very nicely, this note stands out with its slight sourness, although it does settle down after a while. I see this as fairly unisex with good longevity and moderate projection once it settles down. The main issue is cost. It’s very expensive for a small bottle.

This is a really unique scent I've never smelled before, and it's not easy to describe. It's got a lot of different elements, like a tropical fruitiness in the top notes, a cool freshness, dusty, earthy and woody notes, creamy notes, balsamic notes, and herbal notes. It's a bit of a mix, but it all blends together pretty well. When it's dry, it's smooth and warm, but still has a bit of sweetness.

super nice all year noche performer. Starts a bit loud and turns into soft oud mixed with some sweet bergamot for me. Super fun for oud lovers in summer or for light tones lovers in spring

As much I like the house of De Gabor and Gabriel Gabor's work as a perfumer I wasn't able to get myself liking this scent. The fragrance start out with an unique and gorgeous opening, but it dries down to something which is really mainstream (in a bad way). Also after the 2nd hour when the fragrance starts to really evolve and change, the combination of the still existing Feijoa fruit note and the combination of Levander and patchouli just doesn't feel right for my nose. As for performance on my skin, this is a nice performer with great longevity of around 8 hours with a moderate projection which wouldn't offend anyone. Also the fragrance in general is non offensive, but not a crowdpleaser. I would recommend trying it out in store or sampling before buying because this can be a hit or miss depending on your nose's preferences.

Something otherworldly, I expected again before I managed to get a sample. Very expensive bottle, quality, only that can be inside. I've had it for 3 hours now, and after the novel opening, after the wet leafy, fruity start, a familiar scent unfolded on me. Cedrat Boise Mancera. Minus the smoke. There's also the creaminess of Minotaur from the 90s. I have to say that after this it's not worth it! Those who haven't tried Cedrat Boise and don't know that Dns, may just have a wahh experience.

It's ok. Opens good, and quickly settles into an ok scent, but way overpriced for what it is. It has too much typical synthetic designer notes for me. Reminds me a little of something Ralph Lauren could have made for a new Polo fragrance. There is Nothing "Astronaut" about this fragrance. What a waste of a great name. Personal score: 5/10. Average stuff.

The opening is wonderful floral powdery but quickly will settle into masculine patchouli smell.. The performance is good but the notes is tricky for me. In my opinion it's unfortunately more to male perfume

It's expensive but the quality and unique smell from the feijoa fruit put this in the "Must have" category for any collection. There's an airy quality here but with some serious lasting power behind it. Honestly, well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 it's just as good as I expected it to be. If you're looking for a daytime pick-me-up with an indiscernible fruity edge, you can't do no wrong here. Agreeably unisex and non-offensive daytime wear.

Love this one. Unique airy, dusty, and fruity quality to it. It has a weird type of sweetness, in a good way of course. Maybe from the Feijoa fruit? I don't know I've never tried one. Some people may find it cloyingly sweet but I don't mind or think so. Truly have never tried anything like it and its very special to me.

Airy opening that quickly turns into a sweet, dense and spicy scent. Cardamom, black pepper, white musk and later green kumquat, acidic lime, mint, bergamot, sandalwood with a slightly aldehydic fresh finish. Weird but lovely composition and seems to garner positive reactions from other people as well.
