Power Suit

I am not sure what to make of the competing reviews that seem to hate this fragrance. This smells pretty good to me, but it's not quite what I was expecting. The terpenes in the cardamom add a nice, slightly spicy, pointy quality, which is a nice depth, and I tend to think that this is THE dominant note. I'm not sure I'm getting sandalwood or "skin musk." But I'm getting the fruit notes, for sure, especially the fig, which is nicely layered. The base notes I'm feeling more like it's a vetiver-- honestly smells a bit like Bal D'Afrique but much more interesting (although Bal D'Afrique has a bit more longevity and better sillage). I only am giving it a 4/5 because the sillage and longevity are both really weak, and for the price, I'd expect more.

I absolutely love this fragrance. I get mostly fig, cardamom, sandalwood and coconut. Reminds me a little bit of Pacifica's Neon Moon but I get more of a sweet creaminess with sandalwood and cardamom from this and more floral/sandalwood/cardamom from Neon. I prefer Power Suit but enjoy both.

Fresh, green and spicy? What I assume shoulder pads smell like on a business women from the 80s-90s. laundered, clean, confident without needing to scream across the room. And it is that, but I like to scream, so I lay it on thick. Definitely would wear to to court. Or anywhere I need to be a bit more presentable. Never knew how much I would like cardamom.

I get a blend of cardamom, buttery sandalwood and coconut flesh. There's a slight touch of fig, but it's not the star player. I don't get a ton of florals, you really have to focus to notice the slight fruity floral sweetness. This fragrance is a very close sibling to Gris Charnel with the cardamom, sandalwood and fig being prominent.... But i think i personally prefer Gris Charnel's approach where it compliments this trio with tonka bean and vetiver, instead of white florals and musk.

This is a nice fragrance but based on the composition, I was hoping for a deeper scent. It is on the lighter, fresher, side, that is more suited for office and day wear, in my view. It is soft and creamy and I mainly get the patchouli (which is more on the "clean" herbal side, not the deep earthy side) and sandalwood with some florals. Reminiscent of some early 00's fragrances and not that memorable to me. Staying power on my skin is also on the weaker side.

It's alright, on a 'meh' side. I was hoping for more based on the name and the bottle design. It's a deep woody scent, in a sandalwoody way - it has a touch of warmth and spice. I do agree that it is in the ballpark of Gris Charnel by BDK. Speaking of the bottle, the travel size bottle has an interesting and unique twist design. Although, I would prefer a bottle with a cap. Fans of sandalwood-dominant scents may appreciate it more than me.

This is absolutely the worst fragrance I have ever had the unfortunate experience of smelling. It's overwhelmingly strong, assaulting your senses like a punch to the face with its decaying sweetness. Absolutely awful.

I got my wife a sample of this just to throw a few extras in an order to get free shipping. This is one of the worst smelling things i have ever smelled. Smells like old popcorn drenched in butter. This isn’t male or female just plain disgusting worst fragrance i have ever smelled!
