Fragrance 03 Blonde

Ok, I need to step in here. Blonde is not your best friend but not the bad rap it gets either. This fragrance is not for those who only like their purchase if “it got me so many compliments.” Not to say that it does or does not, but it’s not a fragrance to please others. This fragrance is moody as hell, and so am I. And some of you. Sometimes I won’t touch it. Sometimes I crave it. Mostly I’m careful with it, sometimes I spray it with reckless abandon on everything. I like the smell of leather, I hate the smell of raspberries, I find the smell of crystal rose something of the imagination. Together, they are strangers that I desperately want to flirt with. I enjoy the confusion it creates in the reviews, I feel like I understand it. I do get the idea of pickles, at the same time I do not smell like pickles. It is the color magenta, it starts off loud but composes itself quickly. it is only quenstionable for being not bad, but rather interesting and different. I have owned a full bottle for 2 years but was compelled to defend my strange and lovely friend after watching a recent YouTube review which ultimately decided this was terrible- but praised dedcool Taunt 01, which smells like warm crusty cereal milk. I have that unfinished sample myself. That spoke all I needed to know about the reviewer and their unfair take on a far less mainstream beauty. So I’m standing up for my mysterious friend. The one people want to know but are too afraid their vanilla friends will judge. I get it. Also, this is the only scent my fragrance-immune husband has ever gushed over multiple times- in which I am also am not immune to the good ole fragrance flattery myself. This is an extrovert smell loved by an introvert. The last review I will mention is that it has been called old lady scent, followed by “y2k.” That doesn’t hit, I was in high school in y2k and the fragrance of my time was Victoria secret love spell and Ralph Lauren in a teal bottle - which are constantly redone again and again. We call that timeless. Ultimately, you can be cruel to this strange baby but I don’t sense she gives a flying fluff about it.

I bought the dedcool sample pack and this is an unexpected love for me that took me by surprise. I typically prefer your skin but better scents – musky, airy, floral, marine, green, salty, clean sorta fragrances. I thought "Oh that smells sorta nice but a bit too perfumey, definitely not something I'd wear." I sprayed it on my skin anyways since I had the sample and sat at my desk to work. And I found myself sniffing my wrist, over and over again, as it settled into my skin. It's been four hours and I keep sniffing. I began to grow confused if I was smelling it because it was interesting, or if I was starting to like it. I jumped online and started reading reviews to see if others had the same reaction and I realized something. This scent, while definitely different than my normal go-to's, still incapsulates all of the things I typically love while not being any of those things. It's like, I'm outside and can smell the air, the concrete, the trees. I can also smell my own musky skin scent, maybe some lingering clean linen from my sweater, and a cool and beautiful it-girl walks by and I catch a whiff of their perfume as they breeze past. Blonde 03 smells like the perfume, mixed with the air, the concrete, the trees, the breeze, it encapsulates the moment. The longer I smell this and think of different things, the more I can smell everything in this. It's day and night, airy and sweet, sophisticated and mysterious, floral and leathery, feminine and masculine, fruity and spicy, clean and complex. Maybe I'm just new to fragrance and this is so cringey – but this is why I love fragrance so much. You think you know what you like, even going so far as having instant reactions, and then you take a chance and you're surprised – and it opens a whole new world of notes to explore.

I'm glad I waited to review Blonde because I have been totally perplexed by this fragrance. I bought the sample pack from DedCool a couple of months ago and I ended up favoring Blonde and buying a full-size of it with the intention to be used as a "signature scent" (now laughing at the idea that I could ever find just one), as well as a travel size of Fragrance 4 and Sunlit Blooms. I've had a bottle of Blonde for a few months now and I'm never drawn to wear it. I remember it as being a slightly edgier than normal scent, something you would smell on the cool girl next to you at the bar. Now it smells like old, vinyl booth seats and unripe tomatoes. It smells like you're in the bar at closing time and they turn the lights on. You look around and you see smeared makeup and sticky floors. The fantasy of the night has dissipated into a stale mist. When it dries down, it becomes an inoffensive but slightly stale green and violet. I want to try and find something to layer this with as maybe there is a way to bring out its potential? But definitely would not buy again. edit 5/8/25: i let this bottle sit for about 3-4 months and it feels so much more developed. i actually love it now. so much depth and nuance. beautiful suede and powdery violet. I have two theories as to why this happened: a) the flavors developed after four months b) the spring weather has brought out the real leather notes. again, probably will not buy again because I don't want to wait for a fragrance to develop but have been enjoying this as a go-to spring scent!

I love this perfume the more I wear it and it’s quickly become a fragrance I can’t imagine not having in my collection. Honestly, it’s hard to describe. It’s clean, but the leather makes it anything but ordinary. The violet+leather+raspberry is super interesting and unlike any other fragrance I’ve smelled. About 2 hours after the initial spray, the raspberry comes through, adding a subtle sweetness. It’s sultry, cozy, sophisticated, and smells of wealth. The performance is amazing. I sprayed it on at 3pm yesterday and at 7am, I still got distinct whiffs from my wrists as I was getting ready. It’s one of the best performing perfumes I have. From reviews I’ve read, most of the Dedcool perfumes are equally unique and have great performance. I’m anxious to try more because if I love them as much as 03 Blonde, I’m going to need another job. Which brings me to my next point...this is a great value. Most 30ml fragrances are around 90USD, so a 50ml for that price is great. Then, you add the eternal longevity, and this fragrance will last a long time. Even the travel spray gives you 50% more product (15ml) for 30USD when most others are 7.5-10ml for around the same price. I can’t say enough about this perfume and cannot wait to get my full bottle!

Truly fell in love with this perfume at first sniff. Dedcool Blonde is a clean, floral scent that manages to avoid becoming boring. To my nose, violet is the most prominent note. The violet is not overly powdery and instead is as comfortable and clean as fresh laundry, with an added sophistication from the touches of leather. The leather note is not overtly strong, it is more like the smell of a well worn in vintage leather jacket. Not the punchy strength of a leather store. I find a lot of more masc leaning scents really punch you in the face with leather notes. This is more gentle and truly just enhances the freshness of the floral notes. While the lightness of this scent makes it friendly for warmer weather, I can't wait to wear this in the winter. There is something about it that reminds me of the holidays. (perhaps it is the Juniper) However, I think it could easily be worn year round as a signature scent.

I grew up obsessively playing Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and this smells exactly how the great fairy theme sounds. It's ethereal yet grounded?? I don't pick out a strong leather note, I mainly get violet, cucumber, woods, and raspberry (in the dry down). I'm not big on fruity fragrances that lean ripe but this raspberry note is like the skin of the raspberry with almost no "juiciness", which I personally like. I love connecting perfumes to games I've played and this is the perfect representation of my favourite childhood game. Side note: if you need a layering combo I highly recommend Bibliotheque by Byredo (disclaimer I have the oil perfumery version). It makes blonde a little warmer and a little less floral

Yep. Dead ringer for Byredo’s Black Safron. Dedcool is ever so slightly cleaner/lighter and not so heavy and sweet. I actually prefer Dedcool to Byredo. I mostly get violet and saffron here. And a little juniper which keeps it cool but doesn’t skew manly shaving products at all. I don’t find Blonde sweet at all, as other comments have mentioned. But it’s expertly blended. Nothing annoying or jarring in here, even though it definitely smells niche. Try before you buy, as it’s a unique scent that’s maybe not for everyone. But I happen to think it’s wonderful! My boyfriend who tends to have no strong opinion about perfumes loved this too. Sillage is good. Longevity is good. This would be great all year long.

OK yes, the comparisons to Black Saffron are spot on. HOWEVER, I prefer Blonde. Blonde is how I wish BS sat on my skin. Something about Black Saffron gets cloying, heady and saccharine. When I first smelled it, I was obsessed with it; it was dark, mysterious makeup vibes -- the complete vibe I wanted to project, but on the skin, it did not perform as that. It got too leathery and too syrupy. Blonde is such a lovely balance of Violet, Raspberry, Leather and Saffron. Those are the notes most prominent to me in that order. I love the dry down-- it's this soft, sweet, raspberry. Not to mention the price difference- I could never justify Black Saffron, but I would totally get Blonde.

For the sweet spice girlies, if I could live inside of the saffron note I would. The juniper berries are right at the top and are lovely, but dissipate quickly. I feel like I smell the saffron all the way down to the base. Understand people mentioning pickles if they're just sniffing the bottle but on the skin I've never gotten that note, however, there is an herbaceous quality with cuir, violet, and saffron. This is one of the only roses I've ever enjoyed and I think the sweet helps balance out the herbs. It's a daily wear for me and am on my second bottle.

This smelled to me, in order: like fresh newsprint, like someone passing you after they just smoked weed in the schook bathroom, like banana laffy taffy, and finally settles into "hanging out with the cool older girl and sitting passenger seat in her kind of shitty car and it smells like sweet perfume and leather seats and she changes into a mini skirt and a sheer top as soon as she pulls out of her parent's driveway." And yet, I love it! I'm not usually into leather smells but this one is fun and sexy

I'm a Dedcool addict, but this is my favorite scent. I don't know what it is about it, if it's the white woods or the leather mixed with the saffron that just makes this scent so amazing to me, but I'm OBSESSED. I rotate between too many frags to have a "signature" scent, but if I had to pick one, it would be this! It also lasts forever, and I never become noseblind to it. I hope they never stop making this, because though I've found similar scnets (Black Saffron for one) none are quite like this one.

I think this is what Slow Explosions by Imaginary Authors wanted to be. It's got the leather and the saffron that males them smell like distant family. But this is beautiful, leathery floral scent that is so sexy and cool. To me, it smells like a sexy vampire that got turned in the 80s. It's a little dark and mysterious. They're wearing a leather jacket, leaning up against an old car. When they flash you a smile, you can see the pearly white points of their fangs.

It smells like fresh aloe, and like it should be labeled something like cucumber melon. It smells cool and wet, like a bog. Everyone seemed to like it, it seemed like a definite “cool girl” smell, though anyone could wear this. It would pair well with a leather jacket or combat boots. The wear time is long and I can smell it on myself even without my wrist up to my nose. I didn’t quite get any specific notes, but it was still wonderful.

blonde 03 smells like the color lavender to me!! i didn't smell much of the leather and even the woody notes are faint, but the violet and saffron really take the cake in this frag. the muskiness makes it such a wearable, day-to-night scent, and it even has a green, almost citrus-ey vibe to me from the pomelo and vetiver. more of a dark floral than a blonde woods i'd say. forreal my go-to perfume-i feel like it's so versatile and fun!

I'm wearing Blonde layered with Dedcool Milk. I can't stop sniffing my arm...it's woody, floral, and leathery at the same time. Sexy and understated (as long as you don't overspray), it's almost masculine on me, but not quite. This combo will be in my fall/winter rotation. Edited to add: I’ve gotten so many compliments when wearing this. I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I do, which makes it full-bottle worthy.

This is my current favorite fragrance. To me it smells green and a little fruity but still sophisticated, I don't really get notes of leather at all. I smell the raspberry and something that smells like parsley (maybe that's the juniper?). It's become my go-to for days when I don't know what I want to wear but want to smell nice as well as days when I want to smell exactly like this!

What an interesting fragrance. To me, I get Matrix Biolage color last shampoo lol. It’s sweet, floral, leather and woods in a light way. I do not get pickles or vetiver (thankfully!!) which is interesting because vetiver is normally pretty noticeable and masculine on me. I wouldn’t expect to enjoy this fragrance but I really do, it’s my second favorite of Dedcool after Taunt.

So far this is my favorite Dedcool scent. After smelling Germaine Cellier's Bandit, I have developed a thing for leather notes. Unlike Bandit, Dedcools Blonde is decidedly lighter and less threatening than Bandit. There is something utterly orgasmic about the rose and leather notes. It's so gorgeous, I'm definitely buying a bigger bottle.

It's fresh and green. But also a light fruit. Think of the same vibes as an unripe green pear. The Pomelo is definately coming through. It blends well with my skin, and warms up to this sunny spring fragrance. Like a younger or more energized version of Taunt. I hope one day to get a bottle of this.

Smells like cigarettes, cosmos, and late night city life. Starts off with a strong hit of leather, then it fades into a deep, sexy floral note with the leather lingering in the background. Surprisingly addictive, but not for the faint of heart.

I've been wearing this to work here and there and have gotten a million compliments. Clean and long-lasting (it's been over 12 hours and I can still smell it on my skin.

Love this one. It reminds me of Givenchy Hot Couture in that cigarette-raspberry way.

Black Saffron dupe with actual longevity

Mmm, not what I expected at all! Especially with a name like Blonde. I guess it does smell ultra-feminine, maybe that's where they were going with it? Although most of the feminine, blonde women I have met smell nothing like this. Or maybe it's the blonde woods that they say are in here, although that's not the most prominent note. Blonde opens very juicy and fruity, and I really smell almost every note listed in here. Juniper berries for sure - smells like freshly crushed juniper spines (leaves?) so green and sappy but also with a distinct juicy berry feel. The raspberry and pomelo add to this fruity berry smell, completing the effect: a hitherto untasted verdant, sweet, vibrant berry. The pomelo here is providing the juice, maybe even a bit of rasp, and raspberry, sweetness. I also definitely smell leather, rose, and saffron, reminding me of another fragrance I tried recently: Floral Street's Black Lotus, another leather/saffron perfume with rose. They are very different fragrances, though. Blonde is very sweet, while Black Lotus is almost unforgivingly sour, with cherry. If leather and saffron wear harsh on you, I would give Blonde a try. The fruity sweetness and the queen bee, VIOLET, really temper the rougher notes. This actually may be one of the first ultra-sweet violet perfumes I have smelled. The other violet perfumes I have tried have been green or woody, or makeupy/powdery. This is SWEET, syrupy violet - and it grows sweeter and sweeter as it dries on your skin. Which is actually so nice, because the scent at the end is very different from what you first spray on, and it doesn't actually get quieter - Blonde really hangs around. It's more oily than standard perfumes, so it doesn't choke out your neighbors with wide throw, but it is definitely strong, and I can smell it wafting from my hair into the next day. It does get more woody as it progresses, but the vetiver and leather are omnipresent - giving the sweet smoothness some grain to rub against. The green notes and raspberry hang around, too - they meld very beautifully with the floral notes. I really enjoyed wearing this perfume, even if the scent is not exactly my regular style. I would definitely recommend it to any sweet violet lovers, and would give it five stars on development, scent, and performance. I've been wearing a sample purchased from their website. I would caution using the sample as soon as you receive it, though - I have a bad habit of hoarding samples (I probably got mine 2 years ago or so) and about half of the sample had evaporated. Just something to keep in mind!

This fragrance is so complicated (to my nose) that it’s the first one I’ve felt the need to write a second review on. I’m gonna start with the dry down because ultimately that’s what this fragrance will smell like for most of the wear, that it is still around. The dry down on this, I’m not sure how to feel about... To me, it smells like sweet white leather and dry earth, the earthy smell being sweet but slightly bitter and dusty. The feeling the dry down gives is dry/powder, but somehow still gives a slightly “watery” feeling- like the earth wants to be wetted and the leather wants to be oiled, and there’s something cooling and enigmatic about it, like water. Truly very, very, leathery, but light, not heavy and dark like leather typically is, but a bright, suede, or even bouncy leather accord. The bittersweet earthiness is almost evoking cucumber, but also dry rose petals and chrysanthemum tea. I have a love-hate with this dry down, I find it to be just plain odd. Sometimes I almost think it’s bad, other times it’s addictive and intriguing and dare I say really good. I will say that the type of fabric you spray it on matters immensely, when I spray this on natural fibers, the dry down is way preferable, when I sprayed it on my acrylic beanie it went plastic and overly bitter in a nasty dusty way. The opening and middle of this fragrance is where it shines! The purple flowers, saffron, and leather combine to make this addictive smell that is both so refreshing, light, and watery, yet somehow gooey and deep. The opening is quite grapey-like white grape juice, with roses. It’s bright and fresh and tart, yet spicy (but not in a hot or heavy way, think fresh grated turmeric root and/or salad burnet). I’m getting shiso leaf and starfruit, not raspberry. I just can’t place what feeling blonde evokes... I read an article here that compared it to undercooked bread with violet paste spread on it, or something like that. I don’t agree, but understand... I can almost see a gooey bread quality to it, but not really, because it’s too bright, and spicy, and fresh/watery for that gourmand comparison to make any sense to me. I really feel I need to smell Black Saffron by Byredo now... because I was about to remark about how this is a truly unique perfume, but apparently it is very similar to that one, & another cheaper dupe of BS. I guess if I had to describe blonde in a sentence it would be: an earthy femme floral spiced leather scent, but ‘spiced’ , and ‘leather’, feel misleading because it’s atypical of those categories.

I had to come back and completely edit my review of this one because I completely changed my mind about it! My first impression was bitter amber baby powder rose. Woodsy vetiver dry down. And that people who like Chanel No. 5 would like it, but now I love it, and I really don’t like No. 5 or baby powder. My latest opinion of blonde is that it’s actually very watery and refreshing cool rose and violet saffron, maybe also freesia or like a very juicy dewy sweet floral. I actually don’t get raspberry at all unless I try to look for it. Also it doesn’t feel leathery because it’s not heavy or animalic/musky feeling. But then the dry down is actually like a honeyed-musk vetiver. I’m shocked I went from thinking this was a baby powder-rose-amber mess, with a better dry down, to thinking this might be dedcools’ best fragrance, and has a beautiful opening. It’s so botanical and dewy and flowery in a way that’s not indolic or dated, even tho the florals are very sweet, they’re also refreshing and petally. Like smelling a wet yellow rose, near fresh cut grass. Violets & rose water. Cold metallic chrome glinting in the winter sun. The smell of snow in the background, a thick stream of rich saffron & vetiver infused oil slowly drips off of the chrome, it’s bright orange and honey-like, and puddles onto dewy moss below. Edit AGAIN 9/9/25- Now my description of Blonde has changed to: a cool, dewy green floral that's very rose and neroli forward. I grew violets, even candied & ate them, so I know what they smell like, and I'm not getting violets anymore, if anything there's a smidge of jasmine and hay. Blonde is soooo fresh and watery, and green. Dedcools' DNA [amber-musk-bergamot] (the base for everyting they do; aka their Milk) is masked by refreshing wet florals, and when the florals start to dissipate, the tangy oily green of the vetiver saves it from smelling like the rest of their scents (which imo all either have a lot of vanilla, or lots of citrus/patchouli in them). I guess I can get the raspberry-leather, but it's like white or beige leather that's brand new and hasn't been lived in or sweat on, pristine clean leather. And the raspberry is a demure photorealistic and velvety, wet raspberry that's not quite ripe.

I like this one! It's one of the only Dedcool ones in the sample kit that didn't disappoint. At first I smelled "perfume" not to be redundant. But that was the first impression I got, though it wasn't unpleasant at all? But then as it had time to work its magic i got a lot more nuanced fruit element. Red Dakota slaps you in the face with fruit while this one leaves some fruit you've never tried tantalizingly in the table in a pretty bowl and waits for you to overcome your hesitation and give it a try. I dont know what a pomelo smells like but I know it's here, if that makes sense. Something in this is evoking cigarettes without being directly tabaccoey. I personally love the smell, its like someone smoked one in the room next to you last week, it's really good actually. Its this delicious blend of old and new, like a reboot to a movie that perfectly captures the charm of the original while adding a delightful twist of its own. It's like a 55 year old woman who is recreating herself midlife without tossing what makes her unique. I'm so happy with this one after the train wreck that was Milk, Xtra Milk, and Red Dakota for me. This one i'd absolutely purchase a full bottle of.

A fresh, clean fragrance that has fascinating depth thanks to its unexpected twist of leather, raspberry and saffron notes. The person who wears this makes a confident first impression; I agree with others who have said Blonde smells "wealthy." I'd call the intensity "assertive" rather than truly strong - it's not on the level of Alien or Sauvage Elixir, for example - but it might still be a good idea to start with only one spritz. If I had to pick the most remarkable thing about Blonde, it would be its duration: the lasting power for this fragrance is in a league of its own, at least on clothing. A couple weeks ago, I sprayed it on a shirt I was wearing, and the scent is still detectable in the fabric even after washing it twice. The only minus there is that if you decide it's not for you, it'll be hanging around for quite a while! There is a soapiness to it that I find to be fairly characteristic of scents in the "clean/fresh" category; this is strongest at first spray and eases off as the leather and raspberry come through. If you know you like clean-smelling fragrances and want to start branching out a bit, I would say this is a good option.

I added this to my Dedcool sample tin based on the notes. I had no idea it's basically a Byredo Black Saffron dupe and I've also never smelled Black Saffron. I forgot what all the notes where by the time I got my sample tin and tried this on. I first smelled something very green. I know violet can dewy, juniper can feel green in a masculine way, and maybe the pomelo together added brightness. The greenness wore off and something slightly sweet yet almost powdery came out which is the florals with leather. I'm not confident that I can pick out the other notes by themselves as this fragrance is well blended. I do get some similarities to Tom Ford Ombre Leather. I think Blonde is more unisex than Ombre Leather (leans toward masculine), but I would still wear both. Leather has really grown on me as a sophisticated yet low key note. I find this lasts decently but sits closer to the skin so I do smell it all day but not in an overpowering way. It feels more lived in and not so strong that you can't wear it year round.

This scent being so divisive made it a must buy for me and I will admit, I started panicking when i smelled the pickle phase lmao, but then I immediately recognized the scent! It's shimmering lights shampoo!!! and my goodness is that purple shampoo scent just as controversial. I'm floored at how accurate the scent is once it settles but wow what a roller coaster you really can only experience! As an almost life long bottle blonde I find this incredibly endearing and unique. I feel like i'm back at my barbers in LA 2010 the first time he taught me about it and ran out to grab a bottle just sitting in the chair with the door open, wind whipping smocks from the cross breeze traveling through the shop. bright and sunny but still kind of cold. It smells like that. it is blonde. i didn't expect this to make me write one of Those reviews but here I am.

Was lucky enough to meet a rep for DedCool today who gave me a little background and information on the house and their perfumes. So I've been wearing this one for the last few hours. I definitely don't get pickles on my skin as some of the reviews state (and I've desperately tried to think pickles when huffing on my wrist). It's green in the opening with a fat dose of saffron; I am /so/ bored of saffron but it's at home in this perfume and soon fucks off to let the slight leather shine as we enter the pleasant, non offensive, woody, ambery, close-to-the-skin dry down. A bedtime scent that I'll wear when I'm feeling cosy in the evenings. Rather lovely little creation. Thanks, Carina. Keep cooking.

I’m generally not a fan of rose-forward fragrances. The ones I end up liking tend to be a darker, dirtier rose, and not at all screechy. That’s the way this one leans. There’s a sweetness to it upon initial spray that goes away on the skin, but I catch it in occasional wafts. It gives it a faux brightness that contrasts with its dirty qualities. That sweetness is what I call the Dedcool DNA. I love it in Fragrance 02, my favorite from the house. When I first tried this, I didn’t hate it, but I wasn't sure whether I’d wear it. The more times I try it, the more it intrigues me. I don’t think I would ever buy a full-size bottle, but maybe a travel-size that I could play around with on occasion.

Sexy nighttime scent. I've had this for over a year now and it smells better and better after each time I pick it up, and I don't dare touch it in the summertime- one spray would be enough to choke an entire room in our humid summers. I really can't smell this perfume without thinking of the nighttime, like someone is up to some no good, sexy fun. Something is dirty and powerful in this, the leather really brings it all together and grounds it and keeps it from being too floral or too powdery. Like someone else mentioned, it smells like the color purple! So sexy and beautiful.

I was hoping for more of the leather and powder notes but my skin just picks up a faint amount of them. Nevertheless, I love this. It has a very Mugler vibe to me, weird fresh florals with dissonant base notes. On me it smells like fresh violets snatched out of the dirt, muddled with cucumber and juniper. Then one rosebud, stem and all, whizzed in a blender. It starts so green, which was unexpected. Then dries down into a strange, otherworldly purple with the faint leather, powder, and woods. Sillage isn’t high but I smell it on myself all day.

I love this. I don’t know why because I haven’t been that into violet or leather in the past. I definitely smell the violet and I think I can smell saffron and woods. I don’t think I smell raspberry or leather. I would expect this kind of fragrance to be “musty” or old-fashioned but it has a really enjoyable freshness to it. I think this is my favorite from the sample set. I’ve never smelled Black Saffron or Tuscan Leather so maybe I need to try that now.

This is so well done, an addictive concoction that I go back to smell over and over again. Very layered yet it all comes together as one. This is not a warm hug. This is a party at a house in the woods, late at night, slightly chilly, damp air, wet leaves, and two people making out in the backseat of an old car with leather seats. It’s very green, which I don’t usually prefer, but I may have to make an exception. Longevity is amazing.

Like all Dedcool fragrances, this one smells very different an hour after I apply. Put it somewhere discreet, it’s strong. The back of the knees or ankles are a good pulse point for this. I’m in love with the scent and have it all over my sheets because it makes me breathe deeply. I’m surrounded by aromatherapy. Tip: ladies, I add Milk or Taunt to tone it down when I put too much on for others noses.

This is so interesting. For the first few hours, the rose is overpowering to my nose, but after a few hours, this fragrance starts to smell so wonderful. The violet and leather and raspberry take over, and it smells so wonderful. This fragrance lasts forever on my skin (like, I can still smell it after a shower and 24 hours), which is not a problem since the dry down is so beautiful.

This is good, vintage smelling. Violet stands out initially. The dry down has more leather. I picture a 1920's flapper wearing this with her dark eye shadow and dark lipstick, hanging out at some clandestine club. Raspberry is also prominent in the dry down. Overall, it's very vampy. P.S. Don't go off of what it smells like on tester paper, it really needs to be tried on the skin.

I'm really growing to love this scent. With my blind purchase I also received a sample of taunt and I thought I had made the wrong decision, I'm starting to change my mind on that thought. Fruity, woody, powdery.. I think this really smells like the colour purple. Scent bubble is just beautiful, also has really good longevity.

Black Saffron’s twin separated from birth - on paper at least. The raspberry, leather, and vetiver hammers its comparability into my olfactory system. The scent profile is highly prone to variability upon touching skin. But, once it settles, it’s quite linear.

yummy, feels exotic and different. like a soft leather jacket with some raspberries in the pockets. a little muted from the violet, but a gently fruity leather. initially got a travel size, then got the 50 ml bottle because it grew on me.

This smells like an artificial candy or toy from my childhood (90s). Sharp and sour but still somehow inviting because of nostalgia. Anyone else getting pickles but in a good way?

It does, in fact, smell like pickles. But I'm into it.

"finally some good fking food" *in gordon ramsey's voice* except not reallyyyy... just compared to all of Dedcool as a brand. the only reason I can give this fragrance a more positive review than the other Dedcool lineup is because shockingly it actually lasts long and has fair sillage. that's it. I tested this blindly and it is crazy nostalgic of something, then reading the notes now I am confused all over again. I need to find out what this smells like! I do enjoy the spiked citrusy smell, I'm assuming the pomelo is what is shining for me. It's a sunny fragrance, the name does it fair justice. I'm not going to sit here and say it smells amazing, that you need this right now, because you don't - save a bit more and get a Le Labo or something. that being said, I'll reach for this again during the summertime!

This smells like walking through a trendy vintage shop in Brooklyn! The leather note reminds me of old leather jackets and the violet evokes a vintage, feminine feel to it. The juniper/violet combo gives a crisp, greenness in the opening. The raspberry adds this almost syrupy sweetness which makes this fragrance really stand out to me. I haven't sampled Black Saffron but so far in my fragrance journey, I haven't smelled anything similar to this! Blonde has a dark, cool-girl vibe that still oozes elegance! This scent is equivalent to a black leather jacket, smokey eyeliner and whiskey on the rocks. If you want a unique, night-out scent I'd give this a shot. 7/10

I definitely have never smelled anything like it. Very woody and leather with a sweet/rosy undertone. Something in here though is very green, earthy, sour, and sharp that turns me off. I feel like I can grow to like it, but this would not be good for class or work imo. It feels like a halfway mix of chem lab and walking through a forest? Once dried down after a couple of hours, it becomes a soft, woody, rosy, powdery scent, at least on my skin. This would be good for going out in the city, late night dinners, you get the vibe. Smell it if you can get your nose on it.

This is interesting. Picture a cool girl smoking a cigarette outside a bar in the city, on the move somewhere else. I have a love-hate relationship with this. I hate this scent sometimes, but other times I think about it at night and reach for it the next day. A lot of Dedcool scents smell like air freshener to me, but this scent is more like controlled confusion. I don't think I'll purchase a size other than the tester that I have, but it's a scent that I think stands out in the world of "sexy, mysterious, y2k girl" scents.

On my skin it comes across as oud oud oud and harsh leather. With lots of saffron and violet. It's very "loud", even in small amounts. It's soooo bitter and sour. I'm thinking I might be sensitive to an ingredient in this or something. Like how some people think cilantro tastes like soap. It started out as a hate for me but it's fascinating enough that I think I will be coming back to my sample. I feel like I have something to learn from it. Even with the harshness this fragrance comes across very thoughtful
