Mineral Milk

I tried this several times in Sephora before ordering and wanted to spend some time with it before commenting because this is a bit of a shape-shifter. I think as my bottle matures, the woody notes will make themselves more known because I definitely detected those woods more prominently when I tried in the store. On me, this opens very definitively with passionfruit and a sweet, slightly honeyed, but still floral "nectar." The passionfruit lacks the sulfur note present in some of the other new releases (looking at you, opening notes of Power of You) and gives the composition its fresh, aquatic feel. This has grassy minerality like the passionfruit one would experience drinking a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. It is tempered quite nicely with the lactonic (milk) notes and I think that is where people are getting the "coconut lime verbena" vibe, but on me, it does not go that direction, nor does it get too tropical. I do not get the lavender, but it could be there and presenting itself in a more vanillic/ coumarin way, because I do detect a bit of that. I get a nice pop of salty dough somewhere mid-wear and to my nose (and combined with the sandalwood & cedar), it gives a very slight nod to L'Artisan's Bois Farine. Note, I'm not saying this smells like it, but there's a suggestion there and a Jean-Claude Ellena-inspired transparency that makes this an extremely wearable, lovely, inoffensive, and addictive fragrance. Thankfully the amber is tempered by the opening – I'm not getting any harsh synthetics that I usually get in "milk" perfumes. Every once in a while, a get a waft of mimosa or maybe jasmine (there's supposed to be the suggestion of wildflowers somewhere in the mix). I have not had very good luck with milk fragrances and this is a winner, even if it isn't exactly true to the category. This is a perfect warm weather scent, and probably more suitable during the day but could also be nice at bedtime. This is extremely well blended, interesting, and nicely done.

this perfume...what can i even say about it? this is one of the most wonderful scents i've ever smelled or worn. on initial spray it has this slight musk and sweetness that is absolutely magnetic. i personally don't smell much of a passion fruit, but there is this delicious juiciness to the opening that i believe i can attribute to that. as it sits on me, the lavender, salt, and milk all start to come out, giving the perfume a bit more body. the lavender really clings to my skin and to my clothes. that final note of wood and amber really grounds things for me, and reminds me of driftwood. what made me love it is that note of salt: it's so realisitic and makes my mouth water in the best way. it's an intimate perfume but does have some milage, not an offensive amount but enough to draw attention from people close to you. overall, this perfume smells like what i imagine a cottage by the beach would, warm woods and lavender, hints of milk and musk that feel lived in, and salty, juicy notes that hint at a fresh juice enjoyed out in the crisp air off the coast. have i rambled enough? this is so lovely, if you like lactonic notes and know they work on your skin this is the perfect addition to your collection. mineral milk how i love you

Mineral Milk ended up being a really pleasant surprise for me. I already have my coconut sunscreen scent and my high-heat freshies, so it didn’t feel like there was anything new left to add to my summer tray. This felt like something innovative! It opens with a hint of fruitiness, then hits a sleepy relaxing lavender before settling into something softly salty. As it dries down, it becomes even creamier. This is the coconut water you’d buy after your yoga class. If I smelled this on someone, I would assume they were wearing a new Sol de Janeiro body butter. It stays pretty subtle, but it has a presence. When I was testing it alongside louder fragrances, I could still pick it out immediately. It’s also on of those fragrances that gets better when it heats up. There are so many delicious freshies out there that just get swallowed by sweat or warmth. This one has a real pulse to it 💃🏻 I’ve been looking for a perfume that would remind me that it’s summer without making me feel sad about being at the office or remind me that I’m too broke to be on vacation and this fits that bill. I will be wearing this at my desk and to picnicking at the park!

An unexpected standout among designer releases, at least from what I’ve tried at Sephora. The name feels perfectly chosen. This is a luminous, salty coconut impression. The 🥥 note isn’t officially listed, yet the creamy illusion is beautifully convincing. It feels warm and radiant, yet unmistakably refined and grown. It leans elegant rather than tropical. A brief whisper of lavender appears early on, then fades quickly, leaving a soft, milky, solar warmth that feels calm and quietly addictive. On my skin, it settles into a smooth blend of sandalwood and cedar, touched with a delicate salinity. I don’t really detect the passionfruit, which, for me, works perfectly. It brings to mind Beach Walk by Replica, though Mineral Milk feels fuller, woddier and more present. I also see a resemblance to Jo Malone Beach Blossom and Alien Goddess, while Sublimity by Lore leans more floral and skin-like in comparison. 🤍✨

Sampled this at the store today (around 4pm) and it’s been such a complex journey of a fragrance for me, really fantastic. Not a big fan of the other DedCool fragrances but this one stands out! First spray is very salty coconut, warm and bright but feels mature and elegant. Definitely not a juvenile scent at all. I’m really surprised there’s no coconut in this blend. Lavender is there but only lasts 20mins or so. Its been very pleasant, getting nice whiffs of it throughout the day. It’s now 11pm and I can still smell it but it’s become much more an intimate skin scent. Very creamy and sweet. The amber and milk are really standing out now. I’m not a gourmand person, so it’s very strange how much the scent has changed and is almost a bit too sweet for me. Regardless, very lovely and unique scent. Wouldn’t suggest as a blind buy, but def suggest to try it out.

You know what... This IS really good. I don't get the love for a lot of hyped fragrances- but I see the appeal for this one. A lot of other "beachy" scents in the same genre are much more heavy smelling (like Replica Beach Walk) in that cloying oily-sunscreen way. Mineral Milk is not heavy and cloying because the mineral notes lighten this up and make it fresher than other beachy scents in the same group. Mineral Milk is more subtle (but very long lasting) and I see what is so lovely about it... It is just a perfectly soft, comforting, sweet-amber, beachy-floral, salty skin-scent with the lightest touch of musk. It is sweet but not overly sweet and synthetic. Sexy in a soft, relaxed way. I could wear this everyday - especially spring through fall. Very easy reach for me.

This is honestly one of the most stunning fragrances I’ve ever smelled. This is what I wanted a lactonic skin scent to smell like. I’ve tried heavy cream by phlur and unfortunately it smelled like sour milk on me. This is so fresh but still slightly sweet. Really addictive and great for layering. This is soft and fresh but still projects well and lasts all day on me, I can still smell it on my clothes the next day. It’s like a sweet ice cream by the sea - fresh, creamy, airy with a moreish mineral note. I’d definitely recommend this one if you found the other Dedcool milk fragrances a bit too sweet or too subtle.

Mineral Milk is beautiful. At first it was just ok, but then when I realized the dry down was phenomenal I fell in love. It does start off with the marine notes and aquatic but not that aquatic that u get from mens perfumes..this is a beachy aquatic on the creamy sweet side. Then it starts to dry down and u get the milk DNA BUT with a twist...u get the salty vibes and milky vibes...and to be honest...this reminds me of my favorite perfume of all time...clean reserve skin...but mineral milk lasts longer but sits closer to the skin...it really is so good I love it the most out of the dedcool milk like

When I tried this at my Sephora , I didn’t think it was anything special but as I went out the store and walked around the mall, I kept wondering what smells so nice and it was me! I had to go back and buy it! Most lavender scents I come across are sharp but this was was not. The passion fruit, lavender and milk notes work so well together. The dry down is dreamy! soft & cozy. Almost nostalgic. Reminds me of cloudy beach days in the San Francisco. The only thing I would change is the name. There’s nothing “mineral”-ly about this scent. It’s more fruity and floral than I expected.

I'm really glad I found mineral milk! I've been looking for a good summer scent without coconut (I love coconut but I need a break lol). The only thing I dislike about this perfume is the longevity. It only lasts about 2-3 hours on my skin. I'll most likely keep it in my purse to reapply because it smells so yummy! I don't love the smell of lavender, and honestly I didn't even notice it as a middle note. It's perfect for summer, it's sweet, it's fresh, just lovely. If you're looking for a very nice not-so-strong scent for the summer, definitely try it out!

Dedcool is one of my favorite brands and being a huge fan of passionfruit AND mineral scents, this was a must-smell. And definitely an instant buy! It's so strange and lovely. Not a fruity scent by any means, and it isn't really floral either, despite having those in it. Personally I find it really romantic. On my body chemistry the salt is the loudest for sure, then the lavender. Half an hour past drydown, it's a salty passionfruit rind. There is a hint of milkiness, not too sweet though.

Toned down lactonic fragrance. I agree with other reviewers, I get sunscreen aroma with this. The salt is interesting. This really does smell like a day on the beach, warm skin, salty air, sunscreen. But It has poor longevity and stays close to the skin. It’s $90 for 50ml. That nearly $2 a milliliter. Commodity Milk is $1.55 per milliliter if you buy the 100 ml bottle. A little over 100 ml of Philosophy Fresh Cream is .72 cents per ml. They are all comparable in quality and scent.

Clean Reserve Rain with a touch of Dedcool Taunt. Aquatic and clean, with a touch of sweet creaminess. Fresh and dreamy. Smells round and misty. Calm. Relaxing. Soft. Warm and cool at the same time. Not too "watery" or "green". Cashmere sweater, walking along the shore, the day after it rained, breezy, choppy churned up water. Could definitely be unisex, in the best way. Lavender is listed in the notes, I don't smell it at all (a good thing!)

This scent is me to a T. It’s musky, aquatic and a bit fruity. Wasn’t sure how the milkiness would work with those notes, but it really does. Wearing Mineral Milk reminds me of sitting by the beach with a fresh scoop of ice cream, salty sea air, and warm sun creamed skin. It lasted hours on me and I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist all day. The projection is only moderate but that’s how I like my fragrance. 5⭐️!!

I am positively OBSESSED with this fragrance from Dedcool. It smells exactly like driving through the santa monica mountains/PCH in the early morning or at twilight. The fog settling on the shore, your hair salty and windblown from the beach. Such a cool girl, effortless summertime scent. Its in my top 5 favorite scents of all time and also layers beautifully with Kayali's Maldives in a Bottle.

I am so into this perfume, I get lavender and musk, a bit of salt. It reminds me of when you get out of the ocean, and you wrap yourself in a warm clean towel,the scent of your hair that you washed with organic lavender shampoo that morning and you warm skin mixing with the salt of the sea. Love it!

wow. This scent is so nostalgic for me. Smells like the memory of running on the beach as a kid in Cape Cod. The most prominent note for me is def the salt. I can't pick out the exact note but it's perfectly mixed with something sweet and a little floral. Perfect summer perfume.

weirdly enough i do not get ANY lavender or salty notes in here. it’s a really beautiful milky scent that doesn’t nauseate me. to me, this smells like honey coconut milk with tinges of the slightest fruit trail ever. might have to get a small sized one first to try it out

Just enough of everything to be the most comforting scent that has a very zen spa like quality. It’s not too milky, not too clean, not too sweet, not too fruity. It’s just blended perfectly. Daytime, work appropriate, Calming, perfect bedtime scent. A must try.

Wowza a total soft, creamy, lactonic, sweet, beachy scent. The notes totally confuse me because I get a lot of lime and coconut notes when I smell this. Island vibes for sure. I don’t have anything like it so this will be a great addition to my collection!

soooooo obsessed with this...milky, clean, salty. i feel so put together when i wear this. definitely a spa-like scent and it has decent longevity. my boyfriend thinks it smells like sunscreen but he thinks everything smells like sunscreen

wore it on a very hot day and the saltiness just made me smell like sweat and sunscreen i still really like it and want to try it in a cooler fall/spring weather. it’s fresh and unisex and i find it really appealing 8?/10

I really like this! Will be great for the summer, I think the heat will make this shine. Milky, salty, aquatic, solar! I don’t get much passion fruit but more just a freshness overall.

This is non offensive, it is an easy breezy grab, and Go for spring and summer. Passionfruit up top nectar in the middle creamy sandalwood base. It stays fresh on my skin.

It’s GORGEOUS. A bright & salty, yet warm & milky lavender. I feel like it’ll shine in all seasons and environments but in totally different ways.

Smells like a perfectly sweet scoop of vanilla ice cream dipped into crystal clear sea water, but like, in a REALLY yummy way!

Very beachy and light, a bit of a pleasant sunscreen note. A nice scent for summer but probably not for cooler temps.

Salty, woody, warm, amber, lactonic, marine, lavender, powdery, sweet, aromatic, tropical, chic, soothing, calming, alluring, intriguing, inviting, cozy, comforting, unique On me it opens with sweet nectar and tropical passion fruit which melts into a heart of marine salt and aromatic and soothing lavender. The dry down envelopes you in the golden warmth of amber, creamy milk, creamy Australian sandalwood, and sweetly woody Virginia cedar. The most prominent notes on me are the salt, lavender, sandalwood, and cedar. This is just super pretty! It really does give the vibe of foggy cliffs and ocean mist somehow! It’s soothing, comforting, calming, and even somewhat cozy! It’s very salty and marine as well as quite woody, and also aromatic with the lavender. Surprisingly it’s somewhat reminiscent of several different fragrances that I own that are listed in the “reminds me” section. I get a greater or lesser similarity to Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Salt, JHAG Vanilla Vibes, The 7 Virtues Coconut Sun, Replica Beach Walk, Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid, Phlur Beach Skin, Ellis Brooklyn Salt. However, it’s not that similar to any of them, just slightly reminiscent, as it’s lacking a vanilla and coconut note. I get very good performance with Mineral Milk. The longevity is on the strong side as it lasts 8+ hours on my skin. The projection is on the moderate side, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. I am having such a confusing experience smelling this perfume on my hand right now... it weirdly reminds of a mix between ‘Salt’ and ‘Guava Granita’ from Ellis Brooklyn!? Not as insanely fruity and sweet as Guava Granita of course, but it shares a similar fresh and fruity dna. It’s way brighter and more aquatic than I expected. I don’t get salty as much as I do aquatic florals and summer fruits and I usually love a salty unsweet skin scent. It’s fruity for those afraid of really sweet fruits. No lavender. It even reminds me a bit of ‘Aura’ by Dedcool. It’s beautiful, very Pisces, very mermaid-y, very fresh and feminine, and it seems to last on my wrists for a good while. I just prefer Salt from Ellis Brooklyn as it’s also an aquatic salty oceanic floral, but just a bit less sweet, and much better projection. The more it dries down, the more I smell that fruity sweet Guava Granita DNA. One more thing, I kinda disagree with people saying it being a flanker of the milk line is stupid because it’s so different. I actually like the idea of a line of ‘skin scents’ - which is what it seems they are going for, that are all different. This is a skin scent for someone who wants a more beachy mermaid girl oceanic vibe. But it’s still a beautiful skin scent.

I don’t usually reach for anything salty, but I love this!! It’s not overly aquatic and the nectar and passionfruit are just sweet enough to balance out the heavy salt and wood. It starts off smelling a bit like dirty sunscreen which is slightly reminiscent of coconut and dries down as a very creamy and musky milk. I love how subtle the lavender is because I usually find it to be an overpowering floral. The salt almost completely fades away so you’re left with an ever so slightly sweet version of your skin. The wood isn’t too dry either which I was worried about. I love this so much more than I thought I would and I plan on buying a full size. So perfect for days by the lake.

This was my first foray into a truly aquatic scent and ugh, it’s great. Unfortunately, not for me —it’s just not the scent profile I’ll get the most wear out of but I’d still recommend it. It starts aquatic and fruity and fresh. And then when it dries down it does become a soft, salty skin scent that truly feels like summer skin to me. I won’t wear this enough because it’s so specific to summer time and this aquatic, salty vibe doesn’t feel like me but if it sounds like you, give it a go! It’s nice! I would also say the longevity is kind of lacking for me on skin. Lasts longer on clothes but for me it ended up basically completely gone after 4 hours.

Mineralic, salty-sweet sea air, (big) coconut, and just a drop of vanilla! A touch creamy. I get no passionfruit to speak of - it's not even fruity to my nose. The lavender does not stand out - I don't think most people would detect it if not told to look. Instead, this makes me think of old, weather-worn docks that are imbued with brine, but make it a little tasty (someone is drinking a blended coconut drink nearby). I imagine sitting on a pier on an unusually cool late Spring morning wearing this, Sperry's, and a cliché half-zip sweater. This is slightly outside of my typical wheelhouse, but I really like it.

It's giving Neutrogena Invisible Daily Defense spray sunscreen... in a good way! I get a blast of something fruity/juicy/sweet followed by an ever-so-slightly mineralic and coconutty drydown. It's close to being screechy, but somehow remains on the softer side. The name is a bit misleading- it's a bit more solar floral and fruity/beachy than I would have guessed with a name like Mineral Milk. It retains little to none of the musky amber of the OG Milk. If ya ask me, Glossier You Soie and Mineral Milk should have swapped both their names and branding b/c that would make a lot more sense to meeeee.

When I first sprayed this on paper I LOVED it but when I tried it on skin it smells just okay to me? It smells good and I like it but it also feels like missing something. It is a very clean girl scent for summer. It reminds me of Missy from Rosie/Jane in that way in which it’s a perfume I never really wore on its own because it’s too clean for my liking. This one holds on its own better than Missy though. I got travel size and I likely won’t upgrade to full bottle when done.

it opens up clear and loud— a burst of fresh lavender and a passion fruit nectar that remain muted but fresh enough to dance with the lavender. almost like a clean bath and body works’ vanilla lavender. then the dry down comes with a smooth creamy finish. the big fruity molecules stand at the front though. smells just like my aunts beach house. reminds me of my childhood and clean laundry in the salty air.

I love the Dedcool scents Taunt and Milk. Mineral Milk smells what I expected Mochi Milk to be, and in fact I checked the box to make sure I was not shipped the wrong item. This is Milk with an extra jolt of candy vanilla, not as beachy as expected. The drydown is very nice and less sweet. Very close to body scent that would be good for a baby if babies wore fragrance, lol.

Transports me to a warm summer’s day at a clean beach, the wind catching the waves and carrying salt on the air. I’m eating a Weiss tropical coconut ice cream bar, and someone nearby has just applied their sunscreen. Is it the most sophisticated perfume of all time: no, but I don’t think it’s trying to be. Warm, fun, uplifting, happy, fruity and relaxed.

salty nectar with a bit of a tropical feeling from the passionfruit but its not too sweet because of the lavender and amber. Pretty summer scent that makes me think of a beautiful woman at a fancy restaurant nearby the sea at night. I smell ylang ylang but maybe thats just bc it has a sun screen smell to it. Salt note isnt too strong.

my very first dedcool fragrance. i picked it up alongside glossier you soie. there’s a certain coolness to this despite the summery marketing that makes it easy to wear, even in the summer-autumn transition here in the southern hemisphere. an excellent layering staple and i was impressed from the first sniff!

I don’t believe I am getting any of the passionfruit. Getting the lavender and woods. I like it. It reminds me of going to the beach in New Jersey. Brr! It’s very warm. Not fruity, weird for a “beach smell”, but I don’t live next to the beach, so that could just be me.

i like this a lot. my favorite of the dedcool fragrances that i’ve tried. salty amber, i get ambroxan from this even though it’s not disclosed in the notes. i get the citrus but it’s not the main player here. really pleasant and refreshing

The name definitely painted a picture for me before I smelled this and yeah it’s nice. Beachy creamy skin scent but like- I assumed it would be more salty/breeze-y and not fruity floral.... The marketing has me feeling MISLED

I am biased because this fragrance smells exactly like the movie the last song with miley cyrus. I close my eyes and see the beach from the movie. Nostalgia win

To me it’s mostly sweet and milky but unlike the rest of this series, I can actually smell it.

This is lovely. Light, refreshing, beachy & unisex. Not very long lasting but pretty.
