Dee April Parfum I

The continuation of Scandinavian darkness continues. As a big fan of this house, I can openly say that this is an expansion of the first debut fragrance, and I believe the brand has maintained its DNA, which follows the new line of fragrances (I & II). Here, I will talk about the first one, which is a very complex and intricate story but, in reality, so simple. Dark with a little light, a bit of sweetness, leading to very interesting nuances. This is the fragrance that amazed me the most out of the two new ones because its uniqueness is truly felt here, and it stands apart from everything else on the market. Another reason I love the young, talented forces in the perfume world, in this case, Margaux Le Paih Guérin, who really plays with this one differently than with other brands. You can feel the freedom of creativity, the quality of the ingredients, and the concept where the brand owner has decided to complete the picture and create a more innovative version of her first fragrance. I can freely say that this is a continuation of the story, while, for example, number II takes a third dimension, but still fits harmoniously into this holy trinity. The first one is my favorite for several reasons: the blurred, powdery metallic note, a special unique creaminess, and depth in the dark segment. Another kinky toy is on the table, with no words on its black glass, staying true to the main idea, and here we are served something black, more appealing, magical, and very intriguing. No, this is not a dramatic stage performance; this is simply a principle, a direction with very few exceptions, and no censorship. Very good, long-lasting, oily on the skin, and somewhat avant-garde in the perfume genre. This art here was not created by accident. It's about holding on to the foundation and trying to pass the essence further into the next step, and succeeding in executing it harmoniously with noticeable differences yet a recognizable signature. A brilliant creation is on the table, and for fans of darker, "noir" fragrances, this will be another treat and challenge. I believe you will clearly say yes to this. No exceptions. Simply a wow fragrance!

Woody, for sure, balsamic...yes...overpriced? NO. You get what you pay for. It lasts, its not weak, its unique, it wasnt here before million times. Toffe pudding with hint of great brandy during christmas with pipe in your mouth, sitting on an comfy old leather armchair, fireplace with smoldering embers in new housing complex in the suburbs. What else do you wish for?

This is high quality fragrance. Mix of safron,amber,leather....thats what I get.

Boring, confusing naming and lack of brand identity goes hand in hand with the scent. It opens with airy saffron and metallic geranium, with powerful woody-amber molecules. The drydown has similarities to something like Boss Bottled Absolu or Jovoy Fire at Will, sweet vanilic cereal-like scent. Meh

...úvod obdobný jako u Dee April - stejná lahodnost, vyznění, ale nyní bez tabáku a naopak značně naměkčená a proslazená pelargonie, delikátně ozvláštněná šafránem ve vlaze hedvábné tinktuře z labdana a benzoinu, oslazená vláčně prachovou, tekutě jemnou ambrou, obarvenou/ochucenou tmavě modrofialovými květy fialek(i zde je vnímám, byť uváděné ve složení nejsou).. Vůně opět působí velmi měkce, téměř narkoticky, požitkářsky, rozdíly sice jsou, ale minimální. Zde vnímám navíc miniakcenty čokolády - přikládám to přítomnému pačuli, ambře (obdobné zpracování mají v sobě některé vůně od Nobile 1942, třeba A ́Grazia, prostě ona italská vintage s podrahovou načokoládovělostí). Hedvábná likérovitost, mírně, ale velmi přitažlivě, zlatistě tmavým likérem nasládlá dřeva, jež tím pozbývají na své tvrdosti, stávají se skoro hadrovými... Nakonec delikátní vnitřní drhnutí - jak klouzat brkem, namočeným v inkoustu, po ne absolutně hladkém papíru, nebo jak mezi prsty mnout zchladlý, ohořelý dřevěný uhlík... ...jenže to není vlastně dřevěný uhlík, ale bezvládný, původně pevný, vetiver. Po více jak třech hodinách se vůně usadí v podobě neznatelně naslanělé, jemně nasládlé, šedé ambry, vpité do změklých pačuliových listů a šeptajících dřev a zasypané koženým prachem... April Dee I mi ve srovnání s April Dee vyznívá první polovinu svého rozvoje podprahově "zeleněji" právě díky vetiveru a pelargonii, je i celkově jemnější. V každém případě se vůně opět příjemně čichá, je vymazlená, je černá a současně něžná/křehká... černý, hutně mlžný opar chránící vaší jasnou auru... ((typově vzdáleně podobno Ligno Jeroboam))
