This feels like a sophisticated, whispered version of Baccarat Rouge 540—it could easily pass for an 'L’Eau' flanker. I’m honestly impressed by the craftsmanship here; even the bottle is a work of art. It opens with a gorgeous, creamy warmth reminiscent of macadamia before settling into a transparent, airy BR540 dry down. If I didn't already own the original, I’d choose this in a heartbeat; it lacks that cloying heaviness while remaining far more elevated than 'Cloud.' Had this launched six years ago, it would have been a sensation. My only fear is that such a beautiful composition might get lost in the current sea of clones. However, Fragrantica got all the notes wrong. According to the actual advertisement, it contains “top notes of creamy macadamia, red currant blossom, and a touch of brown sugar, offering an immediate sense of comfort and subtle sweetness. The heart of the scent reveals a luminous floral bouquet of pink jasmine, lily of the valley, and Madagascar vanilla, delivering elegance and femininity with a creamy, modern twist while the base unfolds into a grounded and sensual blend of shimmering oakmoss, intoxicating musk and cashmere woods, leaving a long-lasting trail that feels both intimate and empowering.”

I got this for a steal at $20 instead of $60. Whatever notes are supposed to be in here its predominantly airy sugared woods with a little somethin-somethin in the background. But the woods are merely the surface for the air and sugar to cling to. Its very much of the trend and quite elegantly formulated - its hard to do this much sugar without reading artificial or cheap - but its not interesting enough for me to want to buy at full price. Sillage is arms length, longevity middling but you'll think its nonexistant cos you'll stop noticing it after about 5min its that inoffensive. As an addition to my 90ish bottle collection of budget & discount gems and oddities that i love to layer, i predict its going to get a workout. It'll be great for aerating dense fragrances, and adding a syrupy quality to sharp or dry fragrances without interfering with the actual notes involved. The bottle is beautiful. I love the design aesthetic and I salute the execution of the juice (the lightness feels like a choice) but she kinda lacks identity.

Irandomly picked up at Chemist Warehouse and sprayed it without even realising it was meant to be a Baccarat Rouge dupe. The second I smelt it, I knew exactly what direction it was going in. The funny thing is, I’ve never actually been a Baccarat Rouge lover. When it first came out, I honestly hated it because everyone wore it and it became so overpowering. But this? I actually really like it. It has that same airy, musky sweetness, but it feels lighter, fresher, and somehow easier to wear. I get the soft clean notes mixed with that slightly warm skin-like musk, and for the price, I genuinely don’t mind it at all. I’ve even been layering it with other fragrances and it works beautifully. People have asked me if I’m wearing Baccarat Rouge, and I always laugh and say no. For something I grabbed on a whim at Chemist Warehouse, it’s actually become one of those easy everyday perfumes I keep reaching for.

Blast of alcohol and then trying to be baccarat rouge if it was a cologne. Redundant but the bottle is cool.
