Apple Blossom

Bought two bottles of this because I loved the scent so much. It was this that made me love apple blossoms. It's delicately sweet, cute, and girly. I wore this for several months before I ran out...bought it on a trip when I was in New York. It's scented so that if someone sat down next to you, they could smell it. And the type of fragrance where it's not offensive, but might have reactions like, "Mmm, you smell really nice." I do miss this scent, but it doesn't last long enough. If you know of a fragrance with a strong apple blossom scent that lasts, do let me know!

Slightly synthetic but an amazing apple blossom. Sweet, floral, clean, slightly bitter (like an apple), slightly greenish smell. It's really nice, I actually got this as a free sample. Usually pink and white floral scents in demeter (aka lotus flower & tiger liliy) tend to have a slightly sharp alcoholic scent to them, but this is just perfect. The oil version is nice but it's also kind of weak. It lasts 2 to 4 hrs max and it is GONE. Also it's a very feminine leaning but unisex scent I could think of as well, but it's still nice to put it on sometimes around fall/ winter seasons because it's cozy.

I really like this scent. Not necessarily photorealistic apple blossom but definitely smells like a whiff of flowers on a dewy spring morning. Very fresh and slightly heady. Mostly floral but a bit of the red apple comes out in the dry down. A lovely fragrance that would smell equally refreshing in the spring or wintertime. Longevity could be better though.

It's good. This is 70% apple blossom, a kind of a "watercolor", winey tea-rose-like with earty, wet soil note which I scent in a real flowers. The fragrance of real apple blossom is more spacious, crystal, perfume is more unidimensional yet stil good.

So cute and flirty, but I wish it lasted longer and had a bit more throw! Even if you slather it on, it's a skin scent, and it's gone within a few hours. Maybe the spray is stronger (I have the oil rollerball).

Soft and sweet, but fresh and clean. It smells like a women's shampoo - in a good way!

I bought this because I'm obsessed with a wax fragrance by Better Homes & Gardens called Apple Blossom & Freesia, and determined that the note that makes it smell so wonderful is apple blossom. This is a very nice apple blossom smell. Very clean and crisp. Detergent-like. The issue, like with most Demeter fragrances, is that it's incredibly weak and fleeting. It's gone in an instant. I may or may not try the oil one day, we'll see. Edit 12/30/24: the oil kicks ass.

Exactly like a little girl's "first perfume", if that. More like little girl's bubble bath actually. In that way its clean quality is pleasant. It's mostly a cloying mélange though. Apple is detectable if I convince myself it is. Once it lightens up on my skin it's sort of an easygoing, comfort scent.

I love Demeter Fragrance Library and ordered their Happy Foolproof Blending sampler pack to expand my collection. It was like $15 on Zulily. So low cost. This scent is so cloying. And it will not wash off of me. It is not, to me, like real apple blossoms or really apple. It lacks that sweet-and-tart sharpness of the fruit and the openness of the flowers. It's like one reviewer just wrote, this scent has something like tea rose (which I like but it can be overpowering) and wet soil or I'd say even cold mud to it. Would skip this one. Try their Bulgarian Rose or Lilac. Better florals from this company for blending or to use alone. And if you must wear this? It's not for hot days. It would be entirely too cloying in heat.

Artificial watery cherry blossom and red apples, which only occasionally smell somewhat real - a cloying, synthethic and anonymous scent. Overall I find that Demeter struggle with floral scents, with Lilacs being the only exception so far. Avoid this one.

Apple something--but sure not blossoms. And I do know, having multiple trees growing in my yard, and the true scent is heavenly. Unfortunately, this fragrance misses the mark.

this is the first demeter scent that I am confident enough to add to my daily rotation! Lush & rosy. It’s ethereal. I /must/ get a full size I actually dont find that this scent has longevity issues. I think it is temperature-dependent, because i notice that in cold it tends to dissipate faster, except on clothing. in general, it persists nicely on wool and and silk If anyone within the US is interested in decluttering, please pm me! i'd love to purchase a full size or rollerball

Simple and friendly. I was about to throw away a freshly eaten apple's core when I realized that it had almost the same scent as this fragrance. There's something slightly synthetic about the floral here that prevents it from directly evoking the fruity flesh of an apple and keeps it more in the airy, apple blossom realm. Nice when I want a light, basic scent without too much going on.

Having never smelled an actual apple blossom, I can't say whether or not it is photorealistic. However, it is a very sweet and light floral. There are undertones of red apple peeking through. Very fresh and dainty scent; but could be overwhelming up close to those with floral sensitivities. Smells like a watered down Gucci Bloom upon drydown, and is entirely gone after an hour.

Sweet and gentle scent with just the right hint of freshness. It is a bit delicate and I find I need to reapply during the day.

Nice light floral... But lasts about 10 minutes

Pretty scent. For a little girl.
