Black Ginger

Edit: Do not buy this on Amazon. I don't know if it's old stock or its been altered in some way but it's absolutely terrible and smells nothing like what is on the Demeter website. Original: This smells just like Paul Mitchell's Awaphui and Ginger hair care line. It's so refreshing. It works so well in hot summer heat but also warms you up in colder weather. It's a very unexpected scent. I wish it lasted longer. Besides Banana Flambe, this is my favorite Demeter scent.

This is for the Demeter Oil Roll-On. This smells just like Cola, lots of caramel cola notes and a ginger zing at the end. Is Ginger an ingredient in Cola? Try the oil roll-ons instead of the alcohol based sprays. The fragrance lasts longer and it's great for layering.

This fragrance is sexy and mysterious! The ginger is very elegant and the spices create a sultry mix. It lasts for hours on my skin. It will work beautifully on women and men. I have mixed this with Demeter Coconut and it smells even more amazing!

This smells just like fizzy cola bottle candies and ginger ale - delicious and refreshing, but fleeting. Just an excuse to spritz more often, I guess!

Dry, mild spice of raw anise (doesn’t smell like black licorice). Opens musty and dusty that is somewhat stale. Excessively strong application still makes it barely noticeable - until body heat warms and makes it project a decent amount. Peppery spice and zero sweetness makes it more refined than most Demeter. There’s a soapy powderiness. Overall, ok. Not bad, but too weak to seek out.

A failed blind buy for me. I picked this up only because I needed to reach the minum amount to get the free shipping in an amazon purchase order and because I saw the good reviews it has. I hated it at first snif. I tried it once and I totally disliked it, so I immediately gave it away. It smells so artificial and chemical to me. Awful.

No ginger in that...smells like wet rosewood and not in such a good way..

I bought this fragrance for my son who is a fragrantican in training. Judge me if you will but along with a spritz here and there from dad's stash, I've been buying him fragrances since he was 3. It started with Sponge Bob and Batman colognes and over time he has graduated to Demeter grade scents. Any who...Black Ginger smells divine! It's spicey with just the right amount of sweet so that it's the perfect unisex scent. It really smells like ginger and spices. My son loves it.
