Black Pepper

Smells just exactly like fresh-ground black pepper. A gender-neutral fragrance and one of my all-time favorites. It makes my mouth water.

I got this as a free gift and I expected to hate it but it’s actually not bad. It’s something I don’t really wear on its own but I like mixing it with Demeter’s other “foody” scents like tomato and mushroom. I think a lot of Demeter scents are meant to be layered and this is one of them.

Yes, indeed it creates the idea of black, albeit very fresh, pepper. It would be delicious if it lasted longer but after a few minutes off it goes to the kitchen and all you can smell is a faint whiff of some non-descript cologne on your skin if you just rub your nose in it.

I really like the fresh opening notes of this, fresh ground pepper, but unfortunately after about a half hour, on me it smells like someone who isn't wearing deodorant who just ate a hamburger. There's a floral undertone that's probably really interesting on someone else, and maybe layered I won't get the sweaty burger burp note :/

Insert every curse word here..... This stinks like a persons armpits who hasn't showered in years. I unknowingly sprayed it on my jacket and I started crying and became nautious.

I've never been so offended by a bottled fragrance! This stinks so bad it can be used for chemical warfare.

I can't even begin to explain how horrendous this smells. Smells like bug spray!

Does not capture any of the warmth or sweetness of black pepper. Instead it smells sharp and sour. I agree that it smells like the sour smell of armpit, honestly. Really not a fan.

I don't know what happened, but this smells nothing like black pepper and everything like cumin and B.O. It's even worse on my skin. It's impressively awful.
