Cannabis Flower

Uh... let me put it this way: yes. It smells like a darned-good bag of juicy potent bud. I put one spray on one arm about an hour before shopping. I thought it might go well with my lotion. I went to TJMaxx and ended up at their jewelry-counter. I found some good deals on stainless-steel chains- I'll tell you about that some other time. Anyway, checked out, took my little satchel with me to browse the rest of the store, but got fascinated with another piece on the other side of the jewelry-counter, so made a detour and was behind a tall case gazing at these iridescent glass-bead chokers. Overheard the sales clerk plus another talking on the other side- about 12 feet away: "Did you get a whiff of that guy!? I swear he was fried..." Which I wasn't. So yeah. Fun stuff.

The smell of it reminds me the good old days when I was still studying in Amsterdam, it smells like walking through a "coffee shop" in Centrum area while having a waffle. It is weed-y and sweet at the same time, I find it very edgy and very interesting. It would be perfect if only it had better longevity.

The smell of this perfume is as intoxicating as the plant itself. It certainly smells like a cannabis plant. It is a strong scent, but also has a sweetness to it. It smells just like the sort of thing anyone who smokes marijuana would want.

To me it smelled very floral and sweet, not at all like burning marijuana or even the ground up stuff in a bag. The few times that I have worn it I was complimented on it and people were shocked when I told them what the scent actually was.

I love this fragrance! I always loved the smell of a nice joint. Here in the Netherlands most people know the smell and it is not forbidden to smoke it. I was nicely surprised when I smelled it the first time, a great fragrance.

Subtly sweet and green - it does smell like weed but not so distinctly that others would automatically recognize it. Would love to later this with Fig Leaf by Demeter. They have a similar vibe.

I saw the bottle in a storefront and thought to myself, "Ew, why would anyone ever want to smell like they were stoned?" However the associate convinced me to try it, and I'm happy to say it smells nothing like that. No, not like the dried buds, not like the smoke, definitely not like the resin. No skunk to be found. It's so unlike that, that it makes me wonder if half the reviewers here were ever teenagers. But I digress. I ended up really liking it. It's a mellow, earthy floral, mildly sweet, leans feminine but not overtly so. Almost has a soapy and mature ring to it. I hesitate to call it herbal or green because that implies a certain fresh and sharp quality that this lacks. I think it would layer wonderfully with vanilla or tonka, melting into the skin in a comforting, self-assured way. I definitely would not want to put this bottle proudly on display. But I am confident that wearing it, nobody would be the wiser.

Cannabis, I had never felt anything like it, is the first perfume that note I felt, actually refers to the smell of marijuana smoke, but instead of having that bitter smell, closed and dense, the perfume is sweeter, slightly floral . Fragrantica is listed in only grade cannabis, but I think, in my humble opinion, that has some more notes, but I can not identify it. Despite being a light scent, in my opinion, I do not think it's a fresh scent to be worn during the day, I think in torrid heats maybe he Unscrew to have that smoky vibe and docinha, I would quietly in the warm evenings. My skin had good fixation and projection as well. In short, very good, I have a bottle.

It's beautiful ! But, don't be fooled, this is nothing like the weed you smoke. Smells more like a floral and sweety cannabis. Well, you can smell a smoky touch too, but don't ever think to smell like a reefer, that's not it AT ALL ! So, I love it, because it's original, but I didn't expect that ^^'. PS : I don't know if it's my skin (and one of my friends), but we has both oily skin when we spray it... Is it makes with essential oils ? ... EDIT : I don't know if it's my skin chemistry... It really doesn't smell like weed at all, neither the flowers or the smoke. But that's ok, because most people probably don't want to smell like a skunk! It has a very spicy, herbal, woodsy scent that reminds me of walking into a headshop or hanging out with hippies (that actually bathe, there's no BO smell here). Not a scent I'll be wearing, but it's fun and was worth buying a trial bottle.

It doesn’t smell like cannabis at all to me, however it has this really nice green, herbal, spicy smell that kind of reminds me of gingerbread. I love layering this with other brighter green scents, it’s kind of sweet and gooey so adding something sharp and citrusy to make like a whole warm green aroma

Tried it and did not like it at first, it’s very green and bright smelling not necessarily like cannabis up front. After drying down and wearing for a bit it actually smells really pleasant and a bit sweet, almost more floral than herbal

It doesn't smell like proper ganja, it smells like a very big piece of soft, black hashish, with a slightly floral tinge. Oh my. I can thank one of my European roommates in college for my ability to make this comparison, lol!

Pretty mellow scent - smells identical to kush perfume by kush. If you're looking for a cannabis scent that's a little more pleasing, check out Fresh - Cannabis Santal <---- one of my personal favorites!

Sweet, light, herbal. It's actually a lovely skin scent. I don't get any Mary J vibes that I'm used to in other fragrances. 6.5/10

This smells nothing *at all* like real cannabis flowers to me. Not. At. All. I don't even get any nondescript green notes from this. It smells like a sweet musk to me, which is a scent I do love, but that isn't what I was looking for with this. I guess they were going for a skunky/smoky kind of fragrance, and maybe some people can get that from it, but to me it does not smell like either fresh or dried cannabis flowers, or leaves, *or* their smoke. At all. I can't stress "not at all" enough here. With that said, it does smell nice, and I'd say this is a very wearable perfume that *won't* cause anyone to ask you if you have any more of that "exotic tobacco" to share. It's fairly sweet so I'd say it's more of a feminine-leaning scent but could work as unisex.

The first time I tried this I thought it smelled musky and mildly sweet- nice, but nothing at all like real cannabis flowers. Decided to give it another try, and this time all I got was a very faint, clean and soapy kind of scent, maybe with an even fainter papery undertone. Still not anything even remotely green. My sample is at least a year & a half old, and I suspect the plastic screw-top sample vials Demeter uses may not be the best at preserving fragrances over time. At any rate, this didn't smell like cannabis to me the first time, and now it doesn't smell like much of anything at all. Tossing it out.

The comments are true, it smells nothing close to cannabis at all, probs this is the ideal discription of cannabis by random people who have never once had a blunt in their lives. But I will say this, it smells decent and has a decent sillage (hate the dry down tho, too aromatic spicy), idk what these notes are but i get greenish sweet and musky scent similar to wet garden but more musky and faint. Wouldn't recommend but it's alright.

Definitely not cannabis. But whatever it is, it is pleasant! I'd describe it as a wet, mossy scent with some gentle muskiness. However, and this could just be my skin, but when it dries down it can have a slight moldy/body odor scent.

Nothing or close to nothing at all is what I get after spraying this thing all over my body both on skin and on clothing. A waste of money. Edit. Whatever could be smelled was pleasant enough so I okayed it even though it’s so weak.

Smell very green herbal scent with a bitter note while powdery starting over time and dry down. Not a big fan but this could be layered on anything addictive

This scent is oh, so heady and intoxicating! (Pardon the expression. I didn't mean to suggest you should use this if you actually want to get high.) I love the smell of natural hemp and this scent is delightfully true to its name. No, you will not smell as if you just smoked a joint. This is what cannabis smells like before it's dried, rolled and burned. Anyone who has ever used hemp rope, hemp candles or hemp soap knows what I mean. Anyway, this scent is not too pungent or overpowering, but definitely long lasting. I layered it with Jason hydrating hemp lotion and it smells delicious. For those of you with no frame of reference, it's a smoky herbal floral (duh). Try it. (The perfume, not the drug.) You might be pleasantly surprised.

I was so upset with this purchase. I absolutely LOVE Cannabis Rose & Cannabis Santal from Fresh, and decided to try this Demeter one. I smoke way too much, and there is no way that this actually smells anything like cannabis! I only got a slightly floral scent and then a pungent wafting of BO. I kid you not, it smelled to me like straight up BO being masked by a touch of florals. Super sad I bought the large bottle of this, as there is NO WAY I will ever be scenting myself with a bottle of floral BO. I love cannabis perfumes, but this one is so far off the mark. Try Kush Perfume, Cannabis Rose by Fresh, or Black Afgano for a real treat. Steer very clear of this one. A total waste of money.

I don't get this at all. Nothing familiar with weed, seriously. The smell of alcohol comes first, then some spicy and wood, then it fade away-- typical Demeter, yes I'm criticizing it.

I wish I had checked reviews before blind buying a whole 4oz spray bottle of this (because fragnet was out of the rollerballs). Not only does it not smell like cannabis, I don’t even get any herbal, earthy, smokey, resinous notes at all...it just smells floral, in a terrible way. Kinda reminds me of Flowerbomb by V&R, which is a fragrance I hate. Save your money

I bought it blind, thinking it would smell bitter green, bubbly, balmy, spicey and earthy, just like the skunk plants I've happened to sniff. Real cannabis has a very complex smell, but also very distinctive and recognizable. But no... this scent didn't manage to capture all this wonder. If anything, it's flowery. There's something balmy, something green, something rubber-like... but in my opinion it doesn't resemble the plant, which got me disappointed. It lacks that depth cannabis has. About the scent and its wearability, I found it a little bit like Bvlgari Black, cause they both have a rubber-like feel. BB is better and more wearable for a man. Anyway, I found it disappointing, but let's take the burden off Demeter and look at the name they gave to the scent: Cannabis FLOWER. I really can't remember sniffing a cannabis flower, to be honest. Maybe they got it right. So I'm keeping the bottle in my collection mainly as a curiosity. Meanwhile, I'm gonna wait forever till they launch a Cannabis LEAF scent.

Like most people who see 'Cannabis Flower' I deeply interested to try from the namesake alone - a Dutchman who never try Cannabis Flower? Cannabis flower is rather simple -yes, linear- green herbal fragrance with bitter-sweet quality. it have certain dry-like characteristics which smells like dried flowers and it could be pretty annoying if you keep smelling it. Its quite unique on its own right if you're into dry-herbal fragrance. However, the longevity and projection is really short and vanished into the thin air far too quickly. Overall impression : average fragrance with linear notes, its rather boring fragrance with short projection and longevity. A friend said that she really like Cannabis Flower, so I think it would be really depended on taste. Personally I found the notes to be rather annoying especially in the very first few minutes.

Best bet for cannabis scent is to track down an Indian fragrance store in your local city. For maybe a $1/oz I have the most deliciously pungent,skunky, herbal green concentrated perfume oil. Opens very citrusy (perhaps bergamot)with a hint of floral sweetness in the heart that persists through the dry down to bring the composition together and balance extreme business of this beauty. Layers with sooo many things in my wardrobe. Bought it to layer with the Cannabis by Fresh that I bought my husband, which is gorgeous on him...I just wanted to dirty it up a little. Surprisingly, he's a little shy to wear it, but LOVES it on me. He says it's very intoxicating, sexy, and yes... smells of a woman's "lady parts". Beast mode for sillage, longevity easily 8+hrs. A dab'll do ya, cleavage and nape keeps him intrigued and near.

Well, this definitely does NOT smell like bud I can tell you that! (no, not even the leaves) I expected it to be more on the citrus side, maybe with undertones of grapefruit, pineapple, mango, of evergreen. It does not have that sharp, green skunkiness either. Cannabis Flower is pleasant however, smelling like very sweet candied rose and green honey, maybe a little sheer coffee flower, tonka, and musk. This reminds me slightly of Givenchy Play for Him without the rubbery note. I am slightly sad because I wanted a single cannabis note to blend with my other fragrances, but this is one I can wear just fine on it's own. While I do think that it should be given a fair try, my own search continues.

Psssh, Cannabis Flower?? ---I think NOT. This stuff does NOT smell like marijuana (which is the flower of cannabis) nor does this scent smell like hemp or cannabis at all. Instead, it smells like one of my Grandmother's spritzes; not displeasing, but i smell "white flowers" and possibly a sweetness like the flesh of grapes...? Weird. Definitely not the skunk-piss smell associated with good weed. 7/10 for me, low score for being a poor representation of the namesake, but not so low because it's still a pleasing scent.

Very light scent. To me this smells like the seeds. If you crush a broken seed in your fingers the scent left on your fingers smells like this perfume. Add a subtle floral and sugar water. That is this scent. I like it as an at home spray. This wouldn’t be something to put on and wear out because the scent would get lost in the air immediately. It’s really just something to buy and say you own a bottle. Or to give as a gift to your favorite smoker lol sorry I live in California.

OK, let's not take this all so literally. This is a flower scent and not a dried up then smoked up joint scent. I am wearing a very liberal amount of this right now and it has a sweet cherry tobacco flower perfume. You would have to search pretty hard and use alot of imagination to find a "smoked joint" skank in this, probably why it is called Cannabis FLOWER and not SMOKED POT. I find it hard to believe that only my chemistry is making this smell lovely, and it is lovely.

I received this fragrance in a huge lot of Demeter fragrances I bought in an online auction. While it's probably not one I would have picked myself, I don't dislike it. As a former stoner I can assure you it smells quite a lot like a fresh nugget of expensive, good quality weed. I would describe it as more plantlike than flowery. Unfortunately it fades very fast. I put it on this morning after my shower and by the time I was in my car, it was gone.

I don't smoke never will and I hate the smell of it but I'm extremely curious to find out what a cologne would smell like I'm very sensitive to smells and very strict as to what I love to smell like all my buys are blind but I don't want to smell like that I don't know why anyone would so yea if anyone knows does this diffrenciate from the smell of weed?

Proper Proper cannabis bud scent. Took a sniff & went 'WOOOOOOOOOO'.Don't walk past the Cop-Shop wearing this unless you enjoy internal cavity body searches. It's really potent, like skunk & really true to life. I suppose it is rather lovely in all its green & natural herbal glory but man, it reeks like the Rude Boys on the back of the bus...

One might not want to wear this to a courtroom hearing or to pick the kids up from school ;) It's not skunky, but it smells like the ol' Mary Jane, that's for sure! It is slightly floral and definitely bright - not dirty or smokey. It's pretty! It doesn't last very long and the sillage is weak. It's a fun novelty item :)

I actually love the smell of cannabis although i do not smoke it. I would never wear this as a perfume, i don't think anyone would intentionally want to smell like a stoner! Although i guess i would buy it to just smell it, if it infact does smell like weed because i love the smell.

it seems it smells heavier on me than i purchased it. definitely not my everyday smell and i am gettin used to it. thank god there wont be any airport security in the neighbourhood hope ppl on the sub dont sneeze cuzof me

Woah, this was wayyy prettier than I ever imagined. No resin in this bud! It's just a light and airy green leaf scent, tempered with a clean powdery note. Quite innocent really.

My resident expert tells me that this smells NOTHING like cannabis. It's a nice, bright green scent, but not the thick, oily smell we were expecting.
