Chocolate Chip Cookie

Chocolate-y Chocolate-Chip Cookie with Melted Butter & Semi-Sweet Chips... First Impression: Love at first sniff! This is the chocolate I was looking for. Chocolate here is darker, and I get a melted semi-sweet chocolate chip (and melted butter I agree with CyanM), where the vanilla doesn't overwhelm the chocolate. Vanilla is still there, though adding just enough creamy sweetness, while wheat, walnut & sugar add a baked element. I love this one, because to me it smells really chocolate-y, more than vanilla or cinnamon or other elements that sometimes crowd out a chocolate scent. Performance is EDC longevity, but leaves an oily sheen on skin, and lasts a lot longer on clothing/textiles. Love it! Enjoy! Update: Sprayed this on this morning, and noticed the baked element with a walnut note is coming more forward. The liquid is pretty clear although it's starting to darken. Still get the lovely melted dark chocolate chips & melted butter up close on the skin. But it wafts chocolate chip cookies for sure. Still a love.

This is pretty realistic to me. I get a dark chocolate chip cookie, it makes me CRAVE them. It's like all of the others, I have probably 20-30 of them, or had them over the years. They are pick me up sprays & don't last very long, but they do what they say they are going to do, as long as you like the scent. I had a subscriber recommend this one, I will have to go find the comment & thank them. They know how I am over my Chocolate. MMMMMM!! NatalieN on Youtube! This is gorgeous to me! It smells like a cookie in the oven that is almost fully baked now and you can’t wait to share the batch with your friends, and it was your grandma’s recipe so it means that much more to you because she loved baking and you loved her and every time you make them you remember her fondly :’) the addition of the walnut note is also amazing and really grounds the fragrance and stops it from being too “light” or sweet, Demeter once again did a great job

Smells like delicious, creamy chocolate and sweet baked goods. The white chocolate note is a bit like cacao butter, but the richness of milk chocolate is there too. If you like cozy, sweet gourmands you will love this scent! Unfortunately it didn’t project much, staying close to the skin, so while I love my travel size I probably won’t be repurchasing it :(

this smells as if I ate real choco cookies <3 it’s sweet, buttery, chocolatey and smells precisely like cookies, I was deeply impressed at how realistic the scent is, but the longevity on the other hand is extremely poor...lasts me max 30 mins and I don’t wanna spray it over and over every single time 🥲🤎

i love love love this, smells like cookies with semi-sweet chocolate chips baking in the oven. They got the smell perfect and its actually like so good. You get cookie and chocolate but the longevity is like kinda bad

I wasn't expecting to like this one as much as I did. On first spray, I got a blast of perfume-y chocolate that made me think of opening a box of Valentine's Day chocolates. Within a few minutes it starts to smell more like chocolate chip cookies. The longer it sat on my skin the better it got. Sadly the longevity is just not there though and I feel like it faded way too quickly (lasted like an hour? an hour and a half?) so I re-sprayed. I also have Choco Musk and this is sort of like that, except without the light fluffy marshmallow sweetness. Chocolate Chip Cookie is way more realistic and chocolate-y. But best of all is that it's not synthetic and it doesn't have that weird plastic rubbery smell that Choco Musk and other similar fragrances have. It's very cozy, sweet, and probably the most delicious perfume in my collection!

The opening smells like cookies being baked on factory equipment: Like butter and melted chocolate, but also like metal and industrial grease. It's not pleasant. Fortunately, after 15-30 minutes the off notes dissipate and leave something delicious, not quite like chocolate chip cookies, but close. Something pleasantly vanilla and chocolate, anyway. That dry-down lasts for 2-3 hours before it is gone, but lives quite close to the body. Not a perfect representation, but pleasant enough.

I think fragrances like this are nice to just have around in your collection. They're fairly cheap and they're fun. I think this smells delicious but it is short lived on my skin. But while it's there it's great. I didn't have any expectations when buying a couple of Demeter scents of it being a long lasting all day fragrance. Just wanted to try them.

Smells like the remains left on the baking paper when you slide the cookies off. Chocolate, vanilla and little bits of caramelised sugar. This is delicious I just wish it would last longer. I layer it with Urban Rituelle's Caramella to give it some depth and longevity. Good enough to eat.

this is Famous Amos cookies essential.. chocolate cookies.. That's it. I find it yummy and fun, though. UPDATE: I find it's impossible for me (and supposedly everyone else) to wear this in ANY occasions (Well the only exception is when you're baking in the kitchen, I guess..)

smells like melted semisweet chocolate chips, so realistic it's scary. I'm almost afraid to wear it because i think people will expect me to pull warm cookies out of my purse. 10/10

While this smells nice and authentic like a Chocolate Chip Cookie, it also gave me headaches. The lasting power is also not good - as with all Demeter fragrances.

Sticky sweet, chocolate forward. A bit too strong on the notes of sweet and could use something more buttery or creamy to balance it out.

The white chocolate note really stands out to me, along with a strong cookie dough vibe—it’s like smelling your cookie mix right after blending but before baking. This fragrance is okay if you’re looking for a cookies-and-chocolate-shop kind of smell, but for something similar with more sophistication, I’d recommend “Chocolate Greedy” by Montale. It’s much better and worth spending a bit more on.

The most photorealistic, straight chocolate chip cookie with nutty tones. My mom somehow got a hashish note from this but i suspect that's because of her undiagnosed narcissism.

I got a big bottle awhile ago I tried to gaslight myself into liking it because it was one of the first perfumes I bought online and I really wanted to smell like photorealistic cookies but I just couldn't bring myself to like it so it just went to the back of my closet and it's been marinating for over a year. I forgot what it smelt like and was curious to see if it would smell better. When I opened up the bottle cap without spraying it anywhere yet I got a PUNGENT odor of sweaty stinky feet that smelt cheesy, but I decided to still try and spray a bit on my skin since I remember not liking it but it not being THAT BAD and maybe once it dry's down it will be better, so I sprayed it, it's only been 5 minutes and it's not disgusting it doesn't smell like stinky feet anymore and I can get the cookies now but there's still a slight cheesy undertone in the perfume that I think is meant to be like the dough? like it smells kinda realistic but like not yummy and delicious, like there's a funkiness in it that smells like banana bread that was made with old bananas you froze before they could go bad yk? like I really want to smell gourmand like a photo realistic dessert but I wouldn't want to wear and smell like this It's been 30 minutes now and the cheesiness went down a bit more but so did the rest of the scent and I can only smell it if my nose is right up to my skin and it still smells a bit funky like a scratch and sniff maybe I just had a bad bottle but I'm just gonna try and give this away or throw it out cause it's taking up space

I got this perfume long ago and haven't usted it that much despite loving fairly sweet fragances and I stored it in my closet since I detected a way too artificial smell in it But today I decided to give it another try and I have it on my skin while writing this review and this time I could feel a much softer smell and that cookies vibe (always artificial but pleasant ) Not my favorite but you can use it for a casual day for going shopping or walking 😊 I have to add that I live in El Salvador (Central América) and it was not easy to purchase it and when I finally found it the price was not that cheap and I expected much more from it 🥺 , and the lasting power is about 4 hours at it's best.

I was really expecting this one to smell awesome considering that Chocolate chip cookies normally smell awesome. This was so nasty! It smelled like a chocolate chip cookie in the worst possible way. Very harsh & bitter. I sprayed some on my sons coat and he begged me to get the smell off of him so we went to the febreze isle and sprayed him down LOL Its weird because different scents by Demeter that i thought would be awful such as Tomato and Dirt actually smelled kinda cool. I even bought "Dirt" :) Chocolate chip cookie was pure harshness and we couldnt wait to hit the fresh cold air outside to get rid of the smell. I really wanted to like this :/

i don’t know if they changed the formula since the bottle looks different on here, but i bought this as a blind buy together with the cupcake one... different fragrance but somehow they both smell identical. powdery, dirty, synthetic... so disappointing. just like cupcake, this isn’t a gourmand. it doesn’t smell like cookies, chocolate or anything of the sort, it’s just... gross

Smells good after the initial spray, like a chocolate chip cookie. If it stayed like this, I might be converted into a chocolate scent girlie (I think chocolate perfumes smell gross/dirty most of the time). Buuut... after a few minutes it loses the sweetness and just smells weird and dirty. Also has awful lasting power

Smells like chewy chips ahoy in the way that if someone offered you a chocolate chip cookie but handed you a chewy chips ahoy it would suffice. Recognizable as “cookie”, but not really what you want if you want a chocolate chip cookie. Artificial and good enough, but definitely not great.

quite honestly the opening smells like sweaty knickers, but does dry down into something more appealing but still not great.

This smells more like a scratch-n-sniff sticker than anything edible.

Smelt this on my friend, it's sickening.

Starts off smelling like artificial cocoa powder smell then dries down into burnt roasted peanuts and I'm okay with that but I was hoping for more doughyness.

IDK about all of you But to me, on me, it smells sooo realistic! Like literally real freshly baked chocolate chip cookies Im so satisfied with this. I had to review this, after i got compliment saying i smelled specifically like a chocolate chip cookies. I was like, omg yes, im literally wearing a Fragrance that is named "chocolate chip cookies". Ughhh, im looking forward to wear this more. And try other demeter fragrances.

A realistic scent which is wonderful at first, but unfortunately for me it later fades to a sour milk note mixed in with the fresh-baked cookies. I combined it with my fave vanilla perfume to try and alter the sour dry-down but to no avail.

This is a fun light chocolatey fragrance that is very close to the skin so do not expect to smell like a hershey factor when wearing it. I'll pop my 1 oz. bottle In my bag and have it available when i need a no-cal choco*fix on the go! 😁

“The food is terrible and small portions” this smells like chemicals and even that smell doesn’t last. Demeter doesn’t last period. None of them. At all. Just go get a cookie and enjoy it.

I have the roll on oil. It smells like buttery chocolate chip cookies, to a T. However, the longevity is sooo poor. 20 minutes, at most. Sillage is quite good, though.

I love it. This is the most natural Demeter scent and the best chocolate perfume (I can smell both black and white chocolate). I only wish it lasted longer.

A chocolate fragrance that is not overwhelmingly sweet. Soft and truly smells like its namesake.
