Cinnamon Bun

my sweet friend gifted me this for Christmas, and I love it!! definitely smells like the name, I am also getting a hint of cardamom. u can smell the buttery element of the pastry as well, which disappears fast on skin, but stays on clothes. i actually think it smells more like chai latte than anything tho, which I cant complain about either as I love it. longevity is no more than 2 hours on skin, but I'm honestly not complaining at this price point. regarding the review below, as a fellow resident of denmark, this does not smell like brunkager, maybe more like gifflar. either way it smells amazing

Love this!! As someone super early in my fragrance journey, it's my current fav! Disclaimer: I'm a cinnamon everything kind of girl, especially in the fall and winter months. My most complimented perfume as well, I think. Something to note is that my parents kind of smell tobacco in it(?), I personally don't, but it might turn someone off from buying. Definitely more spicy than bun-y, I don't get much of the milk and wheat, or the stuff that would be giving pastry.

finally got a bottle of this beauty!!! i mean, its just so delicious. more cinnamon toast crunch or gingerbread cookies than a cinnamon bun, but delightful either way. happy autumn!

now thats delicious! its surprisingly very spicy! like gingerbread. the cinnamon and milk is definitely there. very yummy.

I love it, smells a bit more like gingerbread to me but still quite cinnamonny . it is a bit weak though.

I tried the cologne spray. It accurately replicates the smell of a cinnamon bun - the cinnamon is the dominant note (as you'd expect). It's a sweet, lactonic cinnamon. On initial application, I got a strong hit of butteriness. As it settled, I started to get the wheat notes, maybe even a touch of dried fruit due to the sweetness. That sweetness marks this out as a more feminine scent (and if you wanted a more masculine/unisex cinnamon scent, cinnamon bark or pumpkin pie is a good alternative). It has low longevity, which is a good thing in my opinion - I worried that I'd smell like a Yankee candle, but the dry down is a very soft, gentle cinnamon. Barely any sillage, someone would have to sit right next to you straight after application, or hug you after the drydown, to get the scent (which again, I think is a good thing) I can't imagine someone wanting to wear this regularly, it's far too much of a novelty. You have to imagine it like a more sophisticated version of a Christmas sweater - worn on festive occasions for fun to make people smile. I would definitely put this on now and again during the holidays.

this smells exactly like walking into cinnabon <3 its a very strong and sweet cinnamon scent, and i feel that those who dislike cinnamon would hate this, but personally i love it! i do agree though that it makes a good room spray over being something to wear on your skin, perhaps maybe it would suit me better in winter? :D

Personally I don't wear this fragrance on my skin, I use it as a room spray. When I spray it, it smells like I've been baking hot cinnamon rolls!!! So delicious!!!! If you love anything to do with sweet cinnamon, churros, donuts or cinnamon rolls; you must own this!!!!

I agree with Melgria that I wish it smelled more like cinnamon bread or had a doughy note to it. To me it really just smells like cinnamon. I like cinnamon so it's not bad smelling, but it's not bready or doughy :( Cinnamon Toast by Demeter is truer to its name!

Delicious! Demeter has a wonderful wheat/bread note that really is well done in their bakery scents, and this one showcases it well. Cinnamon, spice, and sugar. Lasts well for this brand. Cozy and warm, great for casual use in cooler months.

Just like what you would expect from this. Smells really nice, but doesn't last long. Would be nice for layering with a vanilla scent or anything you want to make sweeter or more "winter-like".

It smells like the inside of a cinnamon roll, it's cinnamony and a bit gingerbready but its also sweet and syrupy smelling it would be even better layered over a vanilla perfume

One or two sprays of this fragrance is enough, if you spray too much it smells like a candle to me. Another commenter said they use this as a room spray which is a great idea!

Smells like a cinnamon bun. Strong cinnamon, support from sweet, background of milk and baked bun. Lasts about 2 hours. Nice enough to be worth reapplying.

It smells like the Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls., but with a pumpkin pie overtone. While it is nice, it is not really true to it's name.

Enough cinnamon oil in this that it irritates my skin... smells yummy though.

For me it’s not theres yet. I bought cinnamon toast , ginger cookie and this. The cinnamon toast smells more like a cinnamon roll than this. And on top of that the smell is very weak and doesn't last long. Oajan smells more cinnamon bun than this. 1 Million Prive smells more cinnamon bun than this.

I really wanted to like this cuz I was desperate to find a fragrance that really smells like freshly baked cinnamon rolls BUT this did not meet my expectations unfortunately. What I got was cinnamon essential oil or fragrance oil...either way it's just cinnamon okay. After wearing it for awhile it did turn candle like and it made me kinda nauseous because of that waxy type of smell. I'm so sad rn.

I've been looking for an affordable fragrance to replace my old Bath and Body Works cinnamon bun scented lotion. I was hoping for something that smelled sweet and buttery and edible, but Demeter's cologne didn't do it for me. While it smells sort of like a cinnamon bun in the bottle, it gets spicy and powdery once I apply it. Not a real cinnamon bun smell but still nice.
