Clean Skin

It smells so naturaly, like a warm, clean skin (but there are no soapy or aquatic notes). Very sexy, very "smooth". It reminds me very much of Allure, but it is not so intensive (that's why I like it). It stays very close to skin. I was surprised to smell it on my skin 6 hours after applying. It's Eau de Cologne and its lasting power is really good. I would recommend it to those who find Allure too strong or/and too expensive.

This is really nice-I expected it to smell like soap because of the name and it does...in a way.It smells like the peach Caress body wash.A lot.I have some and they are very similar;a soft vanilla with peach and a touch of rose.This is more 'perfumey' than the average Demeter but I still like it a lot.

I've been wearing Clean Skin for a handful of years now, mostly in the form of the body oil after a shower. Like others have said, it's simply inoffensive and fresh. A sheer, "pink" powdery, non-gourmand vanilla cut with the smallest touch of citrus and light musk. Very well done if you ask me!

I'm big on all these fresh, clean scents ... I think they speak to where we are today. I'm not giving up my orientals ... But I do have a special place for these type of fragrances.

You know how when you just step from the shower and dry off, your skin is still very warm from the heat of the hot water and you can still smell the sweet smelling soap you used? That's what this scent seems to mimic for me. When it dries down, it's a soft, slightly powdery, sweet scent that lingers long after the shower has been had. Great to put on straight out of the shower actually. It's a cologne concentration, but it wears for a good 4-5 hours if not longer. More like an eau de toilette. Sillage is intimate, but that's ok for a skin scent like this. I agree, it does remind of Allure.

I just received a small bottle of this today after a blind buy. The opening gave way to a dash of citrus and mostly powder, and now that it has settled on my skin it’s mostly baby powder with some vanilla. Not necessarily what I could classify as a “clean skin” scent, but it is pretty, inoffensive, and easily wearable. I’m not sure this would be my first choice for work or going out, but I could see it as a nice, comforting bedtime scent.

I get lots of lemon, bergamot, and orange smells. It does smell very clean indeed! However, it seems to be lasting longer on my clothes rather than my skin... But I do like it overall. This is my first Demeter frag.

This smells of baby oil with a slightly sweeter and powdery opening. It even feels a bit oily. The dry down is straight out of the bath (when you used baby oil)

I don't know about "Clean Skin" But it is more "fresh from the Shower". I like it more than I expected to. It's light, clean and fresh. Nothing offensive here.

This is exactly like Allure (EDP) !!! I feel musk in the drydown, though is not even listed. Is rather a sweet fragrance, not so fresh. I really like it!

I like this scent. It's fresh and pretty tame. Smells like when someone is fresh out of the shower and you can smell the soap they used.

I like it but its too peachy and kinda boring :( I think some musk would make it more skin like and less just fruity

It's nice, albeit a bit powdery. It's not my personal taste, but it is inoffensive.

I agree with one of the reviewers below that it smells like baby oil. I have the oil roller ball and it's very, very light, almost undetectable except when you sniff right up against the skin. I get a sweet, slight citrus, slightly white musk scent from this.

I wear this at and after the gym, and so I can’t really imagine it anywhere else. I also sometimes use it as a laundry spray. It’s inoffensive and soap-clean, and that’s about it. It is good at being what it is, no more or less.

I quit blind buy no matter what, but this was offered for 8 USD. When I spray it, for 2 seconds I felt hair spray, but fortunately it was gone quickly. I guess it was supposed to be top citrus notes. Then I can smell some kind of sweet (not too much) bubble gum with fruit flavour I can not really identify. And drydown, well, the hair spray scent is back. Well, IMO clean skin should smell totally different, this is not even close. I thought it is my chemistry, so I tried it on a paper as well, and smell a bit better on it, but still not my kind of scent. When it looks too good to be true, it is usually not! Also agree with DonnyOsmond below.

I was intrigued by this because of the comments comparing it to peaches and Johnsons & Johnsons (two of my favorite scents). I guess I have a weird nose or something because my take on this is much different than the reviews I read. I wanted to like it, but to me it just smells like a generic ladies perfume. I was hoping for something less perfumy and more subtle and natural. Not sure where the "clean skin" comes in. This reminds me of walking through the perfume section of Sears after people have been spritzing all day. Florals on top of citrus on top of musk. Too busy for me, I'll stick to the baby powder scent.

Fresh floral, slightly musky, slightly fresh spicy and a very faint sweet mixed notes all together. Per initial spray the (alcoholic) fresh spicy is prominent and followed by a floral drydown. It possesses decent sillage and has a 4 to 6 hrs of longevity, accuracy in terms of scent replica? 5/10, it smells nothing like clean skin but more so synthetic and sterilized flowerbomb shampoo and soap combo. I don't fw this nor do i hate it due to its quality, but go figure.

Opens with warm vanilla that’s surprisingly not cloying. Countered by strong, white ivory soap. Lured in by bitter tobacco/fresh stained wood that’s minor, but important. Weighty powder leans feminine, but has enough edge to be intriguing. Only problem is that the dominant baby powder feels stale. Warmth helps balance. As a guy, it wasn’t too feminine. Fine projection, but settles into too much generic soap. But I guess that’s what it’s aiming for?

Does it smells like clean skin? Yes! It surely does! But if I had to picture the person who wears that clean skin it would certainly be someone over 60 years old... Nothing bad with this, just something to take in consideration before buying... I think it's the Powdery effect of the rose in it that gives it it's more mature vibe...
