THIS IS SOO AMAZING!!! i just got i today and i tried it and OMG! it smells exactly like cupcakes!!! to be honest, it smells more like fresh cupcake batter! i can totally smell the vanilla in this perfume and i'm going in detail! with most perfumes i can smell the alcohol in it, except this one!! it does not smell chemically at all...as i said, just like cupcakes i can smell a slight bit of saltiness, eggs and milk along with a strong vanilla scent. the longevity is unfortunately weak...i sprayed it on my wrist and i can barely smell it anymore after an hour. though, just one spray on the wrist is going to make you totally smell like cupcakes! the scent is very strong and natural. for a quick scenario, if someone were to spray this in a room, i'd think they baked something like cupcakes...cookies or a cake and i wouldn't suspect it's a perfume! though you'd have to re-spray it at least once every two hours to keep it throughout the day, it's definitely worth it. if you're a person like me that love gourmand perfumes and wants to smell like a cupcake, i recommend buying vanilla scented hygiene products such as shower gel, deodorant, lotion etc...(by the way, they make a lotion that has the same scent as this perfume) if you want your room, clothes...to smell like cupcake i totally recommend you to buy a yankee vanilla cupcake candle and car freshener, they smell exactly like this perfume. if you may wonder, why a car freshener? well, it's so worth it to put one in your closet if you want your clothes to smell good :D hope this review helped! update: people who have complimented me about my perfume have said that it smells more like cookies!!

I'm a big fan of scents like this. This perfume is very much literally cupcake - by that I mean flour, eggs, butter, vanilla. It's very weak but I've noticed it lasts pretty well.

It smells exactly like cake/cupcakes lol. I immediately imagine a classic white cake with white icing and multicoloured sprinkles. A ridiculously fun scent, not sure I want to literally smell like an iced vanilla cupcake but it does smell extremely yummy!!

i have a oil roll on version of this scent and it smells just like a cupcake. i love how literal demeter fragrances are, however the lasting power is so poor there is no point in buying this perfume. it won’t even last 30 minutes.

The cupcake smell in this is great and so gourmand, but I hesitate to wear it because it has a weird alcohol smell that I can't really describe. It overpowers the cake scent and just makes me kind of sick.

Opening sprayed on towel smelled sweet, soft and delicious. Tried it on my skin and soon it start to smell just like maca powder what i hate, makes me nauseous. It does turn to maca powder on fabric also. I was upset about this blind buy that i can not use anywhere until got idea to layer this with berry/ fruity scents and it works very well and now actually adds that cupcake/ cake/ pie even ice cream twist there wich i like very much. Makes too fruity plain generic fragrances way more interesting. Still i can slightly sense that musty maca root and it is enought to make me disinterested for further use.

Have the roll on perfume, the cupcake smell is BARELY there. I was so disappointed!! It lasts maybe 2 minutes... I can smell brown sugar, like a cookie with notes of vanilla. It does smell a little bit like cupcake but it’s really not strong enough... not strong at all. I did not tried the perfume version yet, but if you want to try the roll on, please don’t, it’s not worth it.

bought this as a blind buy some time ago, i had high hopes but saying i was disappointed would be an understatement. it doesn’t even smell sweet to me, just smells like powder - and not in a soft, nice way but in a dirty way. it’s plastic-y and synthetic, not a gourmand

Oh honey, no. Something in this smells plasticky and does not sit right. Some Demeters are great but this one smells cheap and yuck. Weak, but also too warm and choke-y...

I love vanilla and sweet perfumes. But this was just not good. It's like a weird warm, spice kind of vanilla cupcake smell and it is just yuck.

When you spray this, the initial smell that comes out of the bottle and into the air smells like TARO BUBBLE TEA! But that lasts for about 1 second, before settling into a nasty plastic smell, which doesn't have any projection at all so if you smell your skin OR clothing, it smells like this nasty plastic smell. GROSS.

Freshly baked vanilla cupcakes! Yum. When Demeter says "cupcake" they mean serious business. It really is cupcakes in a bottle. The question is do you want to smell like a cupcake? In autumn and winter, I'd say yes, give me comfort and sweet desserts even in perfume form! But unfortunately this fragrance is gone within 3 minutes. Some Demeter fragrances have much better staying power, but not this one. :(

Why do people vote on a fragrance (especially dislike) and leave no review of it? Fragrantica really needs to change this system and only allow voting for people who leave actual reviews.

10/10 smells exactly like cupcakes!!!
