Dust

Love - but of course like most Demeter’s it’s not gonna last long. It’s a musty dusty but a little floral type scent. Memories in the attic. Definitely would be good for layering to give something a dusty and melancholic feel. If you’re looking for something similar that lasts longer, I’d recommend The Strange South Space Dust in EDP. They are different though - Dust to me smells like very light grey and hints of light purple, Space Dust is a darker grey.

This one is incredibly faint. It's in the same vein as Mildew and Earthworm, but it's nowhere near as strong as they are and I can't see it being a strong enough note to hold its own if it were mixed with something else. It does make me think of dust, minus all the allergies, and it's actually a pleasant scent, for all that it's nearly undetectable. It makes me think of a severely watered down version of one of the notes in "Smell of Weather Turning" by Lush.

Surprisingly accurate. I agree that it smells like rifling through a Goodwill or Value Village. It smells like old cardboard boxes. Slightly sweet in an industrial and mildewy way. Dry, ashy woods and musk, faint non-descript florals. I would say that this one was successful. I think I paid $3.60 for a 5mL spray from their Black Friday sale so I'd say it was worth the money. Doesn't last though, pretty much gone within a few minutes.

This smells more like mildew than Demeter's fragrance that is actually called Mildew. I actually like it though and wish it lasted longer...I layer it with Holy Water and Funeral Home instead of wearing it by itself. Overall, I'm getting notes of dried flowers, musk, and dirt.

This smells like dust. Like literally. I got it because I wanted to replicate the smell of a value village. Task succeeded.
