Fresh Ginger

Spicy, sharp, biting...everything fresh-cut ginger really is. Unlike the other reviewers, I'm getting a true ginger scent (or at least crystallized ginger). This is a winter fragrance to me; its yummy spiciness lends warmth and intrigue to its wearer.

Not worth it. I was expecting a bright scent, but this is a mellow ginger, it lasts for about five minutes. But in general the scent is not appealing, almost like something chemical or from a lab. I don't know why I spent money on this. I just got it today with another bottle of Pink Grapefruit, and now I'm thinking: What am I going to do with this two things? Don't waste your money.

wanted to love this- i love ginger and i've been obsessed with the concept of demeter frags since i was a kid. this smells like, as someone else here put it, spicy pencil shavings. sure there's a real sweet fresh ginger note but it's outweighed by dusty woody and not that nice

I love ginger, so I wanted to like this fragrance, but it's just not for me. It smells weirdly like playdough on me and honestly makes me nauseous.

It has a very earthy smell almost like spicy dirt. There is hints of real fresh ginger but its overpowered by a chemical smell.

It's a pretty accurate ginger. sharp, spicy, tingly (? idk how to explain, but its like biting into just peeled ginger, not entirely pleasant to me). I'm wearing it for the first time today, tried layering it with sandalwood, but that is a no go for me, its too strong(quite handsome in its own right). It might go better with something else, I'll have to test it. Originally I wanted to wear it with chai tea, but since it is so fresh I feel like it would overlap? maybe honey would work better? I'll try some things.If anyone has found a combo that works well, please share. It has been 5 hours and I can no longer smell it. I applied lightly, but might want to respray and carry it around with you. I wouldn't say it is not worth it, but definently a challenge to work with, its interesting.

I had high hopes for this, but it has nothing in common with actual fresh ginger. The opening was ok, a mellow gingery scent more like a good ginger beer or maybe crystallised ginger, but nothing like the cut ginger root I was hoping for. Within two minutes it had morphed into a dull soapy musk, and an hour later smells very very faintly of bubble gum where I sprayed it. Sillage was non existent from the get-go. Disappointing.

Not my cup of tea (smells a bit like spicy pencil shavings to me). I have a full 120ml bottle so if anyone wants it (just pay for the shipping), send me a message.

This actually does what it says, smells like freshly cut ginger root, same as when I've chopped it in the kitchen. Lovely if you like ginger! :D

This perfume was awful. Had a strong chemical smell. It didn't smell of ginger and reminded me of Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream.
