Haunted Souls

I was very pleasantly surprised with this one. I got it in their dark flowers sample set and it definitely stands out. I’m very sensitive to smells and after repeatedly sniffing my wrist, no headache! I can’t describe the smell too well, but try imagining what Elvira smells like. It’s true to its name. When you first put it on it smells more floral but fades into a more musky jasmine (?) smell. I adore it. It’s surprisingly androgynous for the notes! I’m not too big on feminine or masculine smells so this is perfect for me. It also has an air of nostalgia to it, at least for me. I can’t remember at what point I smelled something like this, but it makes me feel light and fuzzy. Update: figured out the nostalgic smell, it’s cherry cola! Not sure if there’s even cherry notes in this one but it smells so good. I keep coming back to it.

Lovely. Autumn in a bottle. Tried a sample but honestly might buy a bottle, I genuinely like it. I took a shower like 4 hours after I sprayed it and I could still smell it so I’d say it’s quite long lasting.

I don't know what possessed me to put this on after a shower in this summer heat. For a demeter fragrance it's extremely long lasting and honestly that's amazing especially for the price! You definitely get quite a strong floral and leather note on this one and I genuinely quite like it. However I don't recommend it for warm weather or the day time, might give someone a headache. Is there better winter fragrances out there? For sure. But you can't complain when it's this dirt cheap and well done.

Smells slightly animalic and leathery, with a rich, sweet plum or dark berry. It is rich, dark, and sweet- a sweet gothic and feminine fragrance. I can't imagine it being wearable in summer, it can be quite headache inducing. It can be considered to be a grandma fragrance for some.

EDIT: lasts decently on clothes. Will stay on fabric for at least a week. However, I am still not really sure what scent profile is left though. It smells vaguely nice and I'm not mad at it. But I can't profile the notes. I have read good things about the colognes from the dark flowers set in terms of longevity and fragrance profile, so I was looking forward to trying this. To me, this smells a bit like pineapples. Not fresh pineapples. A bit more musky. Longevity is low moderate for me, but I'm not really sure because when I try to smell this on my skin it seems there is nothing there, but when I smell other parts of my skin where I didn't apply this then that really smells like nothing. It's like there but also not there... like a ghost? But it essentially seems to be gone by the 3rd/4th hour. I was expecting a more idk gothic scent. Maybe less fruity. A bit disappointing, it's very average to me and if this was sold as a grocery store body mist I would not have been able to tell the difference. Will use the rest of my 2ml sample as a toilet spray haha

right off the bat it smells like men's cologne to me and it's pretty masculine. probably because of the leather note. if only it didn't smell like pure leather to me. this does not smell like a haunted soul at all. it gives me a headache

Faint musky jasmine and fruity tuberrose. White floral, musky, smooth, with a hint of fruity-sweet-powdery note. Average sillage and longitivity. It has a baby powder like scent composition.

You take a shower and get ready to leave the house, but it is too warm and sunny outside, it's summer! So you think "maybe I'll go later". You light up a coconut incense stick in your living room and sit on an old, kind of dusty sofa, with the curtains wide open so you can appreciate the sunlight without actually having to interact with it yet. You unwrap a new book you kept lying around, crumple up the plastic film that covered the book with your hands and put it on the coffee table in front of you. As you start reading, you feel like you want to lie down, so you take your new leather shoes off.

Another winner for my collection of unique scents. The name is what hooked me first and it’s quite fitting. Mysterious and alluring. Definitely got the hint of eastern flair from the Myrrh. Strong coconut blossom and saffron. The bergamot brings a sharpness/brightness. Well balanced. Longevity and projection are surprisingly decent given most Demeter scents do not last very long.

On me, it’s Lolita Lempicka without the anise note; however, no one else seems to get that (and the notes don’t quite match) so maybe it’s just my admittedly blunted sense of smell.
