Lavender

I have an almost spiritual love of lavender and used to make my own perfume oil using pure lavender essential oil and jojoba. This is what that smelled like. This is what the real dried lavender I have in my kitchen smells like. Very accurate, photorealistic lavender scent, which I adore as a soliflore. I do wish this had a bit better longevity, although on me it lasts a little longer than most reviews here seem to be saying. Demeter also kindly helped me track down my recent order when it was delayed due to Hurricane Ida!

Love this. Smells like pure lavender...but it doesn't last. I even have the oil roll on...but within an hour, it's gone. I give the scent a 9/10 but it's purely a skin scent and longevity is 1/10.

A true, dried lavender scent. Sharp and aromatic. Exactly what I was looking for. Nice layered with vanilla as well for a simple yet softened scent. Personally I question peoples critique on perfume longevity and often attribute it to nose blindness. Besides, I prefer a skin scent and not something overwhelming.

As the other reviewers have said, this is a true, natural lavender: clean and bright and fresh, without some of the bitterness of real lavender. Longevity is disappointing for such a lovely scent, but the at this price it's made to be resprayed.

This one hit wonder is used for when sleep is hard to come by. I even spray it on my kids pillows if they say they can't sleep. Lavender is wonderful for that, and this it a true to lavender smell.

very good classic lavender i got this as a sleep fragrance as i love lavender and love wearing fragrance to bed and this is great for that very simple and basic perfect for bedtime

True to its name, it is just like the Spike Lavender plant at my front door, absolutely realistic.

I'm not sure what's happened to this, but I've had to change my vote from "Love" to "OK". Lavender soliflores are a favorite scent of mine, and I thought I'd found a perfect one with this, but when I ran out and ordered a second bottle, it didn't smell the same. The new bottle has a synthetic, plastic vibe to it that I don't like at all; it no longer smells natural and real like my first bottle did. Demeter has two different versions of lavender and one is all-natural. I suspect the first bottle I had may have been mislabeled and actually have come from the Demeter Naturals line while this one is the regular one. In addition to smelling synthetic, this bottle also has stronger longevity, so that fits. At any rate, I think another repurchase would be risky, and I think I'll look elsewhere for my perfect lavender soliflore.

This is a VERY medicinal, musty, earthy lavender. Not what I was personally looking for, but it's very accurate to the smell of lavender blooming outdoors in a garden. You really get that earthy, sharp lavender scent that leans more herbal than "edible". I honestly can't stand it and don't think it's good to layer with because of how drastically it changes. It's not a neutral, un-changing single note perfume. It will get mustier and earthier with wear and will lose that initial sharp snap of lavender. If you're looking for something to layer with, I would look for something that stays consistent and doesn't change over time. And if you're like me and you're looking for a creamier, more edible, softer, and less herbal form of lavender, stay away from this one. It's giving men's aftershave!

I bought a sample of this while on my search for the perfect lavender soliflore. I wasn't impressed w/ this. Not that realistic. I also tried their natural lavender, that was a bit better but not what I was looking for. I ended up loving Provence Sante Lavender and that is now the only lavender I wear. The price points are very good but the quality just isn't there and it isn't consistent. I did buy a bottle of their white bouquet, used the 1st bottle up and ordered another one and it smelled like bug spray. I walked away from this brand and have never looked back.

Really nice lavender, fresh at start, becomes mustier after a couple of minutes. Then fades away from your skin without any trail. Only 10 minutes and it's gone.

Natural smelling lavander fragrance. Only it smells to me more herbal smelling lavender like Crimean. I prefer lavander from Provance like smells Jersey by Chanel for example. But it's a very good job as a soliflore. Only it's not long-lasting, which is a problem of many fragrances by Demeter.

Smells just like lavender, but has absolutely no staying powder. It's gone within 3 minutes. Sillage is way too soft.

The opening is sharp and sour. Very natural and medical lavender

Recently, Penhaligon’s released a limited edition Brilliantly British fragrance which now is very hard to find with two iconic British notes: lavender & toffee. Although I never got to smell it, I spritzed Demeter lavender and Demeter Sticky Toffee on the back of my hand and it is absolutely intoxicating! 🤯♥️

i love single note lavender fragrances, i lowkey need this.
