Macadamia Nut

I have a small confession to make - I always wanted to find a yummy, gourmand scent that will suit me. My body chemistry, the hot weather I live in and the fact that I just refuse to offend other people's noses with my own scent made this wish seem impossible. All gourmand fragrances either smelled too strong, too sweet or just plain rancid on my skin. And then I sprayed some of my Macadamia Nut 0.5 Oz bottle, bought out of sheer curiosity and my liking of Macadamia nuts (my family has a small Macadamia tree in the back yard)... and I found myself in gourmand heaven. What a bliss. I can finally feel that I smell "good enough to eat", yet not too overpowering. This is a nutty fragrance, sweet and mellow, a bit vanilla-like but in a very gentle way. It will make your mouth water and will allow you to feel gloriously tasty while still comfortably in your skin. The longevity is surprisingly good, and the sillage moderate enough. Take a chance on it :)

I love this!!! Yum yum yum. It smells just like macadamia nuts! It's got that buttery, nutty flavor you'd expect. I would absolutely layer this with pretty much anything. If you like macadamia nuts or nutty scents, you ought to try this. Of course, as with any Demeter, longevity is an issue.

I guess I'm not really sure what a real macadamia nut smells like. This smells somewhat like a hibiscus flower or an unripe banana peel to me. Green, but sweet and dewy. A bit nutty.

Oh amazing! Ive become a fan of Demeter's perfumes. This is my 5th perfume from them. I stay away from their floral ones like Tiger Lily cuz theyre SO realistic that smell alittle dusty like real flowers do when you smell them, kinda like Butterfly Flower of BBW smells like, so realistic but subtly dusty. My first one was the almond. Ive noticed with Demeter's gourmand perfumes that they open up smelling extremely realistic like food flavoring, like the realistic artificial flavors food companies use in food products (ice creams, etc) and as they settle on the skin, they start smelling more perfumey, sometimes alittle sugary and plastic like the almond one, but still very attractive and unique. The oily residue does not bother me as I have very dry skin, but for someone like my mom who has oily skin it might be an issue. This one is buttery, sweet and so nutty, the opening is intoxicating and smells like the way Clif White Chocolate Macademia Nut bars taste. The drydown becomes more perfumey, seriously amazing. I wish it lasted longer but the bottle at 4oz is big and cheap. Ill stop buying the overpriced designer perfumes that claim to be gourmand. THIS is the real deal.

Perfect for when I crave the tropics, minus all the cartoony fruit notes or exaggerated flower absolutes. Macadamia Nut gives off a warm sunlit scent, invoking daydreams of lazing around on a Hawaiian shore.

I died & went to heaven. Yep!! This is what Heaven smells like! I will update on my longevity/ wear test soon.
