Mountain Air

I bought a few different Demeter splashes that sounded aquatic/marine/ozonic, and Mountain Air was one of them. I think it actually might be my favorite of all the scents I've tried so far. It's cool, brisk, and ozonic, wet. Not necessarily airy though! It's pretty strong in terms of longevity and sillage, so use sparingly. Although fairly unisex, I will say it does settles down into a "men's cologne" smell, but I don't mean this necessarily pejoratively. It's a perfect day cologne for the old 9-to-5 or running errands on the weekend. Nothing extraordinary, but neither is it a miss. It's just... refreshing. This is one to take on trips or keep in your bag.

I love Demeter's outdoor scents like rain, snow, and ocean, so when I read about this one I had to try it. It came in the mail yesterday and I'm very pleased. It's definitely a unisex scent. It reminds me a little of some men's colognes, but in a very natural, fresh way. It's pretty enough for a girl to wear, too.

Demeter is so hit or miss and I like this one quite a lot. It actually feels very feminine to me. Light, airy, fresh, clear, sunny. Smells like the faint floral breeze you’d get on a hill of wild flowers. (I think this may do it better than Wildflowers by Demeter.) It’s subtle and dewy, easy-going.

Smells like an icy mens cologne. It is clean, fresh and leans more masculine. I do like it and definitely get why they named this scent Mountain Air.

A nice smell, sort of a love child of Bright Chrystal and Aqua Digio. Fresh, soft, slightly sweet. Becomes more and more sweet on the drydown.

I love this. It's very very ozonic but it does sort of smell like fresh air. Very refreshing and light.

I expected a fresh and colder scent but all i get is a sweet & fruity neroli/ tropical jasmine/ orange blossom from this. Meh.

Very disappointed , expecting an ozonic note , but just smell coumarin and it is intensely sweet and heavy a bit like Amen , ThierRy Mugler (SORRY if my spelling bad) . I dont understand what is masculine about this fragrance. Yeah it smells like you are on a mountain standing down wind of someone who just bathed in a ton of Amen mixed with Pure Game by addidas.

Smells nothing like mountain air. Generic man scent, sort of aftershave or shaving foam. Nothing special about it. Demeter is very hit or miss, you rarely know if you’re gonna get something that is so accurate and transports you immediately into the desired setting or something that completely misses the mark. This one is the latter.

Really unlike mountain air. Smells super synthetic and very, very sweet—none of the ozonic, slightly metallic quality I associate with clean mountain air. It's really not a fresh scent at all, and I really, really wanted to like it!

This was my favorite of the scents in the demeter men's sampler kit, it mixed well with siberian pine and a little bit of patchouli and made a great custom scent for my boyfriend. It smells fresh, cooling, ozonic, and sweet. It isn't exactly mountain air-y and is more of a crisp clean soapy laundry scent, but hey I've never climbed a mountain. It reminds me of Osmanthus by Jo Malone or the green cologne by Thierry Mugler.

very sweet for a mountain, like a tropical mountain maybe. something food/fruity like stewed fruit almost. surprisingly unpleasant for how light it is? I'm not a fan of sweet without a backbone. it gets less sweet as it dries down, but then it kind of smells like nothing.

Cheaper version of silver mountain water, closer to armaf silage though

Has anyone given this a test drive? Any feedback?
